[Q] Xposed framework on 4.4.2

Hello guys.
Sorry for making new topic for stupid question but well, better this than "how to unbrick..."
I'm on stock 4.4.2 and rooted (more precisely 990.43.74.XT890.Retail.en.GB) and my question is: will xposed framework work okay?
I just installed Xposed Installer (v2.6.1), downloaded some modules, but before Framewrok installation there is a warning about soft bricking, entering bootllops, etc... I'm quite noobish and not sure if this is fully compatiblile, thats why I wanted to ask beforehand if everything will be okay

I have had no problem with Xposed framework on 4.4.2 retailEU.

Thank you for reply. Indeed, everything is fine on my version too.

Which version of xposed framework did you use?
Coming from an other device I was used to install the framework via recovery.
How does it work on the razr i?

Xposed active but no modules

Hello,
I have android 6.0 with the latest version of Xposed framework #85#.
In the app it says that is active, but all the modules that i have installed, don't stay active.
Can anyone help me.

Device? Logs from xPosed installer app?
We need much more information in order to even know what the issue might be.
Also 86 is now the latest, maybe not for the unofficial forks but we won't even know if you might need one of those until we know what device you have

Ok I guess this is going to be me/us pulling every little answer from you, but...
What version of xPosed installer (the APK)?
Is your kernel permissive?
When you say the modules say not active what do you mean, I'm assuming that you've place tick/check marks in each of the modules (xPosed installer modules tab) and rebooted?
Which modules are you running?
Please provide more than one answer per post. Give us more information than we're asking for. Tell us in screenshots if you need to.

I have the same Problem. Xposed Installer says Xposed is active (ver. 86) but none of the modules are working.
The modules alwasy asking me to activate them in Xposed and reboot, if iam doing so its the same after the next reboot.
I Tried this with some modules and it seems like really none of them is working.
I tried:
Xprivacy
Audio Balance
CPU Temp
and some more others.
Im Using a Blackview BV6000
It is a Android 6.0 Device
Im using Xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64
APK is: XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4
I´am Using SuperSu v 2.76 (if that´s Important - Super user is Working)
Woud be cool if somebody can help me.

It would be better, for you and the OP, for you to start a new thread as a different device at least points to different needs/means/efforts to fix; if not be a completely different issue with a completely different reason
Also read logs, it's likely some of them are incompatible with v86 as it forbids modules that package xPosed classes into their own apk instead of calling them from xPosed

[Ulefone METAL] REQUEST FOR XPOSED

Hello !
I have a ULEFONE Metal (ARM64-v8a) with Androïd 6.0 and I had sucessfully installed the ARM64 framework v86 but all apps I've installed (and ticked in Xposed Installer then reboot) say "Please active the app and reboot", I would really like an help (apps: hide mock location v1.3 and GravityBox MM) in order to solve this bug.

It's been long ago you posted, hopefully you've solved the problem by grorkmod (or gave up ). Anyway, Xposed works fine on Ulefone Metal (I"m using GravityBox, YouTube Playback and couple of other modules), it must be installed with grorkmod.

I am using magisk for Systemless root and Systemless xposed. Gravitybox working well. IF you have twrp you can just go to magisk official on Xda and install by zip. Gorkmod and system root resulted in multiple app crashes and xposed modules didnt work.

Xposed installed with grorkmod, not magisk, and several Xposed modules, including GravityBox all work like a charm, no crashes at all

Perhaps I flashed in the wrong order or forgot to clear cache or some other small problem . Good to hear system root and xposed works .Now if someone more knowledge able than I could cook a custom rom or two just because .

Any one who has managed to use any of the root blocking app for Xposed? I would like to run Pokemon . I'm on Eragon rom.

I used pokemon go on stock rom when it first came out using magisk and systemless root

Did it work for you? I get an error message flashing the .zip file that my boot image is changed.

Yes , it worked for me . Try uninstalling supersu( root) because magisk roots the device ..
Failing that flash stock . flash recovery . flash magisk . install magisk manager & magisk su .
( you can backup and restore your data because Eragon is basically stock rom modded .......
It might work if you uninstall xposed ( dont worry you can put it back ) and then unroot ( remove su from inside the app ) .then flash magisk and install xposed and su from inside magisk manager
Do a global search and use the latest version of magisk here on XDA

Oh sorry if your boot image is patched you will need to flash stock . I am/ was on stock because I got errors related to deodexed parts in Eragon and you can easily make the changes in Eragon and more yourself in stock . Eragon is a stock rom modded a little . You can do more with stock and magisk and magisk su& xposed

[HELP]Xposed framework installed but not active, LOGS INCLUDED

Hi, could you please lend me a hand? I made sure to install the correct zip file, and it's successfully installed. But then the device say Xposed framework is not active. Here are the logs: /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/modules.list was not found

Finally its work, u need to del all xposed framework previously, using root Explorer and flash again xposed framework by solarwarez, Mi Max 2

AOSP Keyboard

Hello everyone,
I am torally used to AOSP keyboard since GingerBread and can't live without it.
Therefore, I grabbed the LatinIME.apk app from LineaogeOS 15 (Oreo) for another device and installed it on my XZ1 Compact.
I can set it up in the settings, but whenever the keyboard should popup, I got a force close.
I used this method to use AOSP keyboard on my previous phones without any issue.
Any idea ?

Are you aware of any method where you don't need Magisk?
I'm not rooted.
