Mi Note Pro: Unable To Connect Galaxy Gear S2

Hi there
I'm using a Mi Note Pro. Rom is 6.4.7, bootloader is unlocked
I'm given a Gear S2 as a gift from my partner. But it is unable to connect with my phone. even both devices are recognized each other via Bluetooth. I tried to connect the watch with my wife' Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and my mother's Sony Xperia Z5, and both phones are pairing well with the watch without any problem.
I think Xiaomi phone is not compatible with Galaxy Gear S2 as it is not supported to be global phone
I did search around google but no help
Hope anybody have the same situation and share your experiences
Thank you
There is another app needed to connect to mi note but sold my s2 and can't remember the name. Or maybe it is thge latest rom why not try Mokkee rom, S2 worked perfectly when I had it. Did you install gear plugin and gear manger.

Is the P9 able to connect with a Samsung Gear 2 watch

Is there an app or something i can do besides rooting my device to connect my device to my Samsung Gear 2 watch ? i have tried Android wear and Gear Manager apps.
Help would be appreciated
Thanks
Would like to know the same thing . I managed to install Gear Manager on P9 and successfully install all additional apps needed thru Gear itself rather then installing them all separately . Phone and watch do connect at the beginning but at the end when watch does reset and its ready to connect it just stays on forever on connecting on P9. Seems like its possible but not quite there yet .
I used non -Samsung gear manager app if interested . Read somewhere that P8 can work with Gear .
Anyone else got it working ?

Pairing watch with 2 devices

Ok, I have a question which probably wasn't asked for a while, as aerlink wasn't updated for a while, but maybe someone can still help me.
My wife has an android tab, an iPhone and a zenwatch 3. Android wear 2 standalone apps don't really cut it, so I tried to connect the watch via the old aerlink way, so she can have apps via the tab and her messages from the phone.
This solution doesn't work and I was ready to blame it on aerlink not being supported on aw 2. Out of fun, I still tried the same with my huawei watch 2 and here it works perfectly. Why is that the case?
For the facts: Tablet is on Android 6, iPhone 7 on 11.1. Huawei and Zen watch are both on 2.7 or Android 7.1.1 and the only difference is the security patch (Huawei is newer). Aerlink fails to connect to the iPhone from the zenwatch (constantly changes from connecting to disconnected) , while with Huawei it works directly.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the reason why it works on one aw2 watch and on the second not? Is there any alternative to use, which has the same effect? Thanks in advance.

Not working with Samsung Galaxy Watch Active (remote)

Hi,
got a bad Problem with a Nokia 7 Plus and a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active. It didnt work if the Watch is in a WLAN. It seems the Nokia Blocks the Samsung remote Adress or port.
I tried the watch with 2 different other Devices and it works without a Problem.
Bluetooth works but when the Galaxy Watch App needs to connect to the watch via WLAN nothing...
Any ideas?
Ive tried to look with a ip Filter App but for me it looks the App cant send/listen on the Nokia.

Question Can't connect to gear s3

I've been trying all morning to connect my s21 ultra to my gear s3...to no luck...I know Samsung has discontinued support for S2 and earlier but I don't remember the S3 being on the list?? Anyone else successfully pair an old S3 to this phone??
Yes, I was immediately successful. You need to factory reset your watch then the S21 should automatically find it and ask you if you want to connect to it. I don't think I even had to manually go into the app. It just finds it and works. I have both an S3 and the Galaxy Watch and both connected perfectly fine.
If you use Android 11 and the Duraspeed is available, try disabling Duraspeed.
I noticed that duraspeed caused disconnections between my phone and my Samsung Gear S3 Frontier or if I was away from my phone, my watch would disconnect and never reconnect.
Disabling Duraspeed solved the problem.
(Note : I tried disabling Duraspeed for anything related to my watch or Samsung, but this did not work)
