Need someone to program my Ty Tn II

I purchased an unlocked Ty tn II and can't get it to do what I want. ie 10 sleep mode won't go away, etc, etc.. It's taking too much of my time to trouble shoot. I live in Evanston, Illinois and wondering if anyone wants to help me. I prefer some that is a senor contributor here has the same phone and already knows what to do. Thanks. Steve

For being so picky as to who helps you, I sure hope you are willing to pay them . . . . .
You would be extremely surprised as to how much "Non-Senior" members know about our devices
Anyway, goodluck and have fun here on XDA. Just remember to ALWAYS use the search button in this forum.

I can tell you that HTC just released an update for the KAISER/TILT on their site. This has to deal with the issue of the power settings not staying where they should be at. Check it out at HTC America under product support and then under TILT. This may help...

This site is called "XDA DEVELOPERS", not "XDA spoon-feed those to busy, lazy or stupid to work things out for themselves".
How come noobs are getting worse or lazier? There now seem to be a few of these "I want someone else to do it for me" threads. I guess I now know where the sacked Lehman Brothers employees have gone.

WOW!!! What a nice first post, you really contributed by starting this thread. When I first started here I was scared about flashing. But I read and figured it out on MY OWN, such as life.

Mea Culpa-- Still would like programing assistance
I want to apologize to anyone I've offended by my post. I have been reading this site for some time now. I am in awe of the things that many of you have been able to accomplish with these phones and the programing. It is amazing. My complements to all contributors and inquirers alike, I find both helpful.
However my area of expertise is not in programing such phones. Just as clients come to me for marketing services, I too was willing to pay for some programing expertise. In these tough economic times, I thought it would be a welcomed opportunity. And yes, I am willing to try anyone that knows what they are doing, e.g. junior or senior contributor.
I did read about the Tilt upgrade thank you, but I read on the ATT site that it wasn't working. Additionally, when I go to the download screen at HTC the download button is not on my computer screen. I can see it in the print preview, but not on the screen. I installed Kaiser tweaks and that didn't do it either.
So, I gave it a good first shot, and not that I am throwing in the towel, but it seems to me a great opportunity for the right person. I don't just want to fix the current problems, I want to keep going and install some of these great programs and perhaps a new OS. Take care and keep up the good work.

Err.. ok it seems I can't post a picture since I've never posted before..
It's the 'buuf clock widget'. It's not in the market anymore, keep getting the message 'this has been removed'. So far I've found a .cab one, but yeah, can't do anything with that.
Maybe it's simply impossible to get now? I just wanted to ask you guys as a last resort.
OR, if you know a clock that looks good together with a buuf-like theme, PLEASE tell me where to find it.

chromecast button stuck! help!

I dropped my chromecast. Now the reset button seems to be stuck. Can't rest chromecast anymore, shows chromecast connecting issues. Can anyone help me on this? Can I reset this chromecast using Windows? Need urgent help.

It's $35....thoroughly test it and if it won't load buy a new one. There's not really any advice anyone can give you to fix a broken chromecast. If you feel comfortable try to disassemble to fix the button.

The problem is not money actually. It's the avaibility :/. I live in Nepal where i cannot ship/ buy chromecast.
Hoping for some fix ...

So how'd you get the first one? You can't access the internet?

Is the button just jammed in there or it is totally broken and even though the button is out the switch is still making connection?
If it's just a matter of the button being stuck, Use a pin to try and pry it out and see if that solves it.
If not then your pretty much screwed without taking the thing apart and possibly replacing the switch which won't be easy.

My friend had a similar issue with his Chromecast. To fix it, it just needed a nice "love tap" against a table. May be worth trying if you have not yet.

CCast is now shipping to Korea...
It shouldn't be long before it's available in other locations in Asia.

Is it stuck or completely broke...
Stuck is just a matter of prying...Broke is a matter of replacing, either the unit or the switch and it would probably be cheaper to replace the unit than it will be to replace the switch.

1. When asking for help, you will get answers that you don't necessarily agree with or want but please don't insult other users for trying. It's bad enough people get flamed even when they don't insult others, but by you doing it, it will insure that you will get attacked in return and get people fired up. So in short, please don't attack others for trying to help you. If something people say looks disrespectful to you, report it.
2. If someone is looking for help, please just try and help. If you can't provide help, please don't post. If the person starts insulting you for helping them, please don't attack, just report it.

Hey so i have the sm-g975u and if anyone would like someone to test some stuff to get root i am willing to help. And yes before you say anything about it ik the chances for root on this phone are very very very slim but i still have hope that it can be done in some way that we might not have ever thought of trying. So plz feel free to ask for my help (was told that i should put this in the s10 forum since its more active here)

You won't be getting any chances on your request because it's not possible. There was one thread here somewhere where someone thought he'd try and I'd suggest you look for it. That went nowhere, plus no one is going to spend time on the Snapdragon phones since they're locked down tight. Any one that tells you they are going to try probably doesn't have any idea what they're doing anyway. Check your post 2 or 3 years from now and see how it's going.

hey guys, I was a windows phone lover, but as we know, i got forced out... so as I'm nkt a snob, I won't own a iPhone, so im trying my best with Android, but am not happy how intrusive Google is, I don't really care for Google either, and I feel they're watching my every move, and id like to ride dirty if I want to without someone watching me.. if... I felt like it.. sorta creepy if you ask me, plus Google ruined my buddies phone for downloading a video game they say was pireted, so im not ok with that, as the phone was my buddies property.. so.. yeah, that's my feelings on all this, miss windows, don't own a computer, just a boy and his stalker android phone, that always seems to have issues with software, afraid to turn my phone off, because for whatever reason, android phones don't like to turn back on.. for me anyway, hello everyone

thank you, I don't know how to do that sort of thing, and ware I live, we don't have phone lines, so no computer access, so I would need a way to do stuff either buy using phones own storage, or SD card, or to another phone, and a male to male cable linking the two phones together,, but as it seems, I'm guessing my Stylo 5 isn't root friendly, so idk, thanks for any help info you can provide, also, I'm having major problems with senior members, I posted a help question, and no one has responded to it, but if I comment on others posts, asking if they fixed the problem, or what I should try, it gets removed, then I suggested someone with a broken phone, hook a Sim card up to another broken phone, after getting the one networked unlocked, if it still didn't work, and putting in the other phone... and got message not to post illegal stuff on here.. it wasn't illegal, seems everyone wants to keep removing my posts, and talking crap to me, but no one wants to help me with my phone problem, I don't understand, I need help, not policing, thanks, if there's anything you can do to guide me or help me, it'd be appreciated
