Hi all,
My Samsung Galaxy Gear won't charge after a month of empty battery. Have tried to charge it about 22 hours now, but no success. The charging symbol is not displayed either.
A voltmeter shows that the charging cover gives power out to the gear, but it seems like the gear won't accept charging.
Using the original charger and charging cover.
Some knows what I could do about it?
EDIT: Also tried multiple chargers, and tried to plug it in the computer, also tried to reset it by holding the power button for 10+ seconds.

find the solution? I have this problem and not try to do as many things ...
problem solved, connect your Laptop and Gear to wait, wait 6 hours, others 15 minutes, so there is no specific time, I hope you serve!
Mine does that from time to time. I simply use a Q-tip to clean the contacts on the watch and the cradle, and all is good.
Sent from where the wind begins....
The actual problem is the fact that the craddle does not have direct connection to the battery, it has to go through the mainboard first. In some cases, if battery is completely empty, mainboard wont recognize the cradle and thus not charge or boot up. This happened to a friend of mine and he gave it to me to tinker with it. What finally worked was this: put the gear in its cradle (ofc cradle connected to power supply), but did NOT close the cradle cap. Instead I pressed on the gear to have connection and with a flat screwdriver i held the power button for about 10 seconds, while in the cradle and getting power. Aaaand it booted. Afterwards all charging was fine, no more problems.
The moral of the story, in my opinion, is to never let your gear discharge completely. When at less than 10%, shut it down yourself until you can charge it
so my gear watch was working just fine yesterday until it died and turn off. so today i fully charge it and see its at 100% charged but now i cant seem to get it to turn on. i press and hold the power button on the side of the watch for at least 10-30 seconds but doesnt seem to be working. is there another way to turn it on? or is there a problem with my watch?
Hi! I posted that my Galaxy Tab didn't charge, but now I managed to charge the battery using a universal charger. I was able to use the tab for months. But it had problems when it wouldn't turn on and suddenly shuts down and vibrate before the home screen would show up. My solution before was to leave the tab overnight, and the next day it worked. But right now, the solution won't work either. The lock screen would show up but it would say "Powering Off...". When I try to plug the tab to a wall charger, it would show the Battery with a thermometer and exclamation point on the lower right of the icon of the Battery.
I have tried to do a factory reset when it happened before but it didn't work. Would someone please help me?
Thanks!!!
Hi,
Does anyone charge their Gear S3 through the wireless power share? No matter how much I try to put the watch at the center back side of my S10+, it charges for a few seconds, disconnects, reconnects again for a few seconds and so on...
It only rarely (so far only twice) I ass able to charge it longer and in those cases the watch / phone gave up after 15-20min...
I have no cover on my phone or watch...
Any similar experiences? Any way to solve that?

I only tried it once and it worked fine on my Galaxy watch. I'll probably never use it because I don't want to take the Otterbox off every time I charge the watch. It's a shame because it would be nice to use one charger.

I have a Galaxy watch and have issues as well. When I put it on it will start charging and then disconnect and reconnect and it just keeps repeating that cycle. My wife has the same problem as well so we just figured that it just didn't work well.
I have a problem with the watch that I got for repair. It doesn't start up, and when connected to the charger, nothing happens. the light does not shine. I tried to look for a solution on the internet but did not find it. The charger lights up red for all, and nothing for me. When I plug it in, it goes into standby mode. I plug in my watch and nothing. No any lights
