In /system/usr/idc there is a file named "sensor00_f11_sensor0.idc" (or something like that). Rename it to "clearpad.idc", and reboot.

Testing so far. Boots fine, but I'm mainly interested in seeing if it has the same kernel bug as FXP's CM11/10.2/10.1 which prevent the phone from sleeping.
Another thing I've noticed is that both this ROM and CM ROMs check for the device product/name in the updater-script before flashing, and in every case I've had to erase those initial lines because the phone name never matches. I've tested coming from an Official USA FTF, so I think maybe there should be more checking options or remove it altogether, because odds are it won't match, depending on the ROM you're coming from.
EDIT:
Not the exact same wakelocks as in CM11, but still nasty. On the initial boot I couldn't turn GPS off, it apparently turned off eventually, but I'm quite sure it's what caused that wakelock.

So, to follow up, it does have the exact same problem as FXP's CM ROMs, with the exact same wakelocks. I might add, this happens only on WiFi, as can be seen in the attached screenshots.
If you have any suggestions and/or fixes I'll be glad to help with tests.

Thank you for these i will work to fix them, but for the time being try and use the wakelock blocker and see how it goes with that.

That would be ideal if it weren't for the fact that those wakelocks aren't detected by Wakelock Blocker. If you think of anything else, LMK.
EDIT: Attached are logs I pulled with BBS after flashing again in order to confirm whether those wakelocks are detected by Wakelock Blocker. Maybe I should have pulled a proper logcat/dmesg...

GPS is not working in CM11(the symptom is exactly the same as members have mentioned above - cannot turn Location Info off and an awful wakelock appears)but if you replace the folder kernel/arch/arm/mach-msm with OmniROM's and then re-compile the kernel,GPS will work,and the GpsLocationProvider wakelock disappears,you can also turn Location Info off at once.I don't know which file in that folder caused this...There are so many differences in the files.Maybe some SMD/RPC/NMEA related files are the ones to blame?(JUST GUESSING)
And one another problem:after turning off the screen,surfaceflinger will start to eat CPU(50% usage,see in adb shell - top) and comsumes a lot of energy.Strace its threads and I found only one thread is doing system calls(doing really frequently...What's that?Software simulated VSYNC?).If the screen is on,the process behaves normally.The dirty fix for GPS doesn't work for this...

Did you happen to test this with WiFi on? The reason I ask is because, as I stated before, while the screen is off and WiFi is on, there is something keeping the CPU active, for at least half of the time the screen is off.

Maybe it's just the crazy surfaceflinger?Persistent 50% CPU usage is a nightmare for battery...And whether WiFi is on doesn't matter.It's JUST driving the CPU and killing the battery.

I tested it this afternoon.The outcome is the same as I predicted:after the screen is turned off,surfaceflinger eats CPU (and since it's a kernel process,it doesn't need to hold a wakelock to run while screen is off - just like adbd)

Well, then it would seem that there are two different issues, which might be phone specific(?). In my case, I know for a fact how to stop the CPU usage while screen is off and stop the battery drain, which is turn off WiFi. What I don't get is what does the "mmc1_detect" wakelock have to do with WiFi anyway. The other wakelock, "suspend_backoff" does actually seem related to WiFi:
Rationale: suspend_backoff is triggered whenever there's a rapid succession of sleep-wakeup-sleep transitions in a short period of time (10 occurrences within x ms IIRC). When that happens, SB makes sure the device is continuously awake for a bit instead of alternating a lot. The KWL count indicator could give a hint about the source of those continuous wakes, but not a definite answer because it doesn't show their time distribution.

The problem is FXP ROMs, as with this LS, don't come with Chrome installed; and I've already seen it get fixed by turning WiFi off.
Of course, that doesn't seem to have to do anything with Surfaceflinger, at least not in my case (although, I didn't check, but would be good if I flash FXP or LS again), and if other people aren't getting the same battery drain under the same conditions as I am (i.e., they can use WiFi normally without having the same nasty battery drain and/or same wakelocks), then it would seem the ROM is sort of choosy when it comes to the phones it's installed on.

On my phone,turning off WiFi doesn't reduce CPU usage.I can see in System Tuner Pro that it's running.And while the screen is on,CPU usage is also high,nearly ~80% all the time...
Another interesting thing:if you make a kernel with OmniROM's zImage and LS/CM's ramdisk,the phone can boot with no screen display(display driver mismatch?Surfaceflinger should be working though).But in DDMS you can see GPS is working correctly and off-screen CPU usage is normal...

It runs pretty nice and the camera actually works. Using Open Camera. Is HDMI working or is it broken like the other CM13 ROMs?

Good ROM with Root tools. Quite smooth and good battery cost. But sometimes wifi disconnect. All good but wallpapers is too ugly....

HDMI is probably broken, because the source is almost identical.

This is actually a very good build, so props to you OP!
A few things though. The device isn't deep sleeping at all. This causes a roughly 1-2% per hour discharge. Not a huge deal, but definitely should be fixed. Also, GPU and CPU performance leaves a lot to be desired. The system becomes quite unresponsive with simple tasks.

Do you use Greenify? If not there is no wonder "the device isn't deep sleeping at all" as well as "GPU and CPU performance leaves a lot to be desired". Don't forget it's a budget device with dual core processor, don't overload it, especially with live wallpapers.

Can you try changing ro.ril.disable.power.collapse in your build.prop to equal 0 and see if deep sleep is affected after a reboot? You can do this easily from kernel aduitor in system settings.

I tried this rom, but return to cm 11, the deep sleep issue is a big problem: From morning to night more than 30% of the battery drain, with cm 11 the kindle remains 98% more than a week without use.

@alexander_32, not sure if you're copping a condescending tune with me or not, but Greenify is only good for controlling what the system cannot as far as wakelocks. Running the OS barebones, it wasn't sleeping, and there were/are no apps keeping it awake. I know you have to assume that us "testing" the ROM don't know what there doing, but trust me, I've been at it long enough to know what I'm doing. But just so we're clear, I've frozen all of the apps from waking up the device, and after multiple reboots, it still won't sleep. And also, I understand this is a dual-core device, I know it has performance limits. But I've ran dual core devices that exhibited a lot less stutter running CM. All I was saying is what I've experienced, as to potentially offer assistance with making the ROM run more efficiently. And also, I personally think Live Wallpapers are garbage, and for the sake of device performance, would've already disabled them in an effort to improve device performance.

My personal experience: after deleting useless system apks (before flashing) in system/app and priv-app folders, greenifing almost everything except Smart Launcher, Twilight and system apps like CyanogenMod Syetem, CM Settings Storage etc, disabling boot at start for each app except Smart Launcher, Twilight, Youtube (doesn't work without it), Cleaning junk, cache, art/dalvik cache, it changes from 100% to 99% in 6-7 hours and no complaints about that.

I found the source of the deep sleep issue. It'll be fixed in the next build in about a day or so.
Edit: flash this boot.img from twrp (Install > Install Image > select boot) for a quick deep sleep fix

Boot is the same; maybe the one posted earlier doesn't have holding volume down to go into fastboot, not sure. For the rom itself, I think the only big change upstream from cm13 was hexolibre.

there seems to be an issue with the wifi, i have 5ghz wifi set to channel 149 and for some reason the tablet wont find any network with the channel higher than 48, any idea how to solve this? for me using a channel lower than 149 is not an option.

What doesn't work/Bugs:
Brightness is always 100% (Someone contact OP and tell them to change vendor or kernel stuff to work with different amount of brightness levels)
Stock keyboard shows some Chinese popup and it's difficult to type on it so just install Gboard instead.
USB MTP seems kinda buggy. (Might be because of my unstable linux, OOS sometimes doesn't work either so not sure if You'll get this bug too)
NFC is constantly turning on and off.
If anyone wants, You can change brightness with terminal command that You can find in my Pixel 3XL Port Thread.
How to Install:
Flash Stock OOS Oreo in TWRP (preferably twice)
Boot into fastboot and use my rom flasher. It will do everything automatically. (Just run bat file and that's it!)
Boot into TWRP (Yes, You need TWRP that works with Oreo so go to twrp.me and get 3.2.2.0 version)
Mount Vendor
Flash Patch1 in TWRP (Don't flash Patch2, I accidentally added it to the zip, just leave it alone.)

Well.. One bug has to be fixed by OnePlus. Brightness.. Only OP6 uses 1023 levels of brightness and that's why this bug exists in all sGSI roms. If they could release OTA with modded brightness levels to match other devices, it would be a lot better. Otherwise I'll have to try modding framework (yes, it's finally possible) but it's very difficult. I'm not a big fan of smali.. (Just google smali and You'll know what I mean)
Edit: I'm also focusing on Pixel 3 XL Port less because You can have almost 1:1 Pixel 3 XL rom with Havoc OS for example. And everything works there.

6.incoming call mic not working via speaker too,
these are bugs what i have found on my device
i followed every steps what u have mentioned
and i appreciate 4r ur hardwork for bringing such amazing rom

Hmm. Here WiFi and Sound works fine.. did You use 5.1.11 firmware? I already noticed that OP6 is a pretty complicated phone. It's like every OP6 has different bugs . On my phone the only bugs that I have are NFC is restarting all the time, Camera Dual Mode doesn't work, Brightness is 100% and stock keyboard requires long presses to type on it.

Nfc, Brightness, camera bug is similar what u experienced, and i flashed 5.1.11 twice before porting, but screen not responsive while charging and while its not charging it goes deep sleep
but i like this rom more.. u take ur own time to make this rom stable:good:

- NFC service keeps rebooting(? dropdown icon flickering)
- Brightness slider not working, automatic brightness keeps re-enabling itself
- Night light not working
- Can't change any color tone
- Occasionally, unlocking the phone will keep the fingerprint icon centered after unlocking, preventing the phone from locking at all.
I tried disabling the NFC service entirely, by blocking com.android.nfc and disabling the service via

I think I know how to fix NFC but since it's not my rom.. I'm not sure if I can work on it. I'm pretty much just sharing it here. I just converted it to A/B and made sure that kernel will boot it etc.
If someone can send me stock Lenovo Z5 firmware. I can turn it into a sGSI and work on fixing bugs.
And Brightness bug will be always there anyway. Unless OnePlus will change amount of Brightness levels in their firmware.

s It is true that double tap does not work to wake up or to suspend the device. I have to say that it is fantastic in operation. I appreciate the effort for the dedication thanks

This ROM is hella good about everything but battery only by using chrome by 5minutes it drains 7% of battery.

I don't know what you're doing but your setup might be messing with something.
My Cepheus is actually acting fine battery wise.
Please, try a clean flash with the latest update and do not setup any Magisk module and report back.

Clean flash performed, no magisk or any additional zip flashed, just installed and installed all my daily stuff, also TWRP can't correctly decrypt phone. In few days I'll clean flash do again, however this is lil bit weird

since a few days just left when I did clean install again I can say it's better and worse in some cases. I don't know what the heck is with my phone nor my instalation but, as previously said battery drain, for now its better but not the best, 2 hours of doing nothing 20% are gone, maybe there is too many apps in bg or some doze just dont work. i dont know, while using navi there is quite simillar battery drain maybe lil higher but it's normal I think.
I think this is pros regarding to previus state but now there are another problems.
From time to time screen just turns black and there is nothing I can do other than force reboot. It happens most while using Navi but just 40minutes ago it happend while charging on Qi. Weird...
For now this is everything, maybe it has a lil bit slower Fingerprint scanner than previously but actually this isnt most important since I use pin more often. Tommorow I may be able to send ss from baterry drain

I flashed this ROM with no real issues - I didn't use the TWRP Recovery suggested, but the latest version of OrangeFox and everything seemed to work fine (although I have noticed when returning to OF Recovery, it says something about "failed to mount" when I try to wipe cache & dalvik)
When I long press on the Home screen to access Launcher settings, and then select Developer options, it reports that QuickStep crashed & returns me to the Home screen.
I'm guessing I can't change the Home screen grid size? Can't get rid of that hideous Google Search bar? And can't get rid of that annoying wide 'pill' thing at the bottom of the screen? If I use a custom Launcher, presumably I lose my system wide gesture navigation?
The screen magnification seems rather large, even on its 'smallest' setting.
So far, apart from the above, everything seems to be working well & fast.

Dirty flashing is ONLY suggested for a weekly trivial update on the same ROM. Changing ROMs, and API level in this case, it is unfathomable to expect to have a working phone with a dirty flash. Even if it boots, which it probably won't, as in your case, the end result will certainly not be what it is supposed to be. You'll end up with a lagfest and apps closing, and then blame it on the ROM...
So , yes, it is normal that your phone won't boot.. Clean flash, formating data by typing "yes" and using the latest beta recovery is the way to go in order to have the latest Android a couple of weeks after Google releases it. We've come a long way... Porting used to take 6 months...

Nice custom rom. Really smooth with good bb. No deep sleep bug while bluetooth on.
The only rom where volte and vowifi works out of the box without problems (germany)
Haven't found heavy bugs while one day of using. Excelent. Keep going!
EDIT: After a while "camera lost connection error". Only reboot helps to solve the issues

I'm also seeing some camera issues. Opening the stock camera app sometimes results in a "can't connect to camera" error. If I dismiss the camera app & reopen it, I then see a camera image but it's frozen, dismiss & reopen, it's an updated image but frozen again. It takes several attempts to get a working camera image.
Also, I seem to be having trouble updating apps (possibly only Google apps?) in the Playstore - the downloads get stuck at various X% and I have to cancel & try again multiple times (it's not my internet which is working fine). I've tried clearing Playstore cache & data, but it hasn't helped.

i can confirm the camera issues. happened with elixir os as well, but with arrowOS it seems less frequent

I've found this ROM to be remarkably smooth, fluid & stable. Although I admit I haven't used my Redmi Note 7 much as it's now a 'backup' phone. But anytime I've picked up the handset with this ROM on, it's been working fine.
There are obviously a few camera issues, but they don't seem to occur that often.
I'm still a little unsure about battery life - at first it seemed fine, but lately I've started noticing that when the phone has simply been left on standby all day (no active use) that by the end of the day it's down from 100% to say 30% which seems rather excessive for being on standby (handset isn't warm at all though).

Oh i see, i would like to hear from more people their opinion on the battery life because i still use it as my only phone and so it is pretty important to me. Thanks tho
(Also, could it be that you left the bluetooth on? I read that some android 12 roms had problems with the deep sleep while the bluetooth was on, i dont know if it could be the case)

I checked my RedmiNote7 before going to bed last night. It was at 84% battery & Bluetooth/WiFi/4G data were all off (GPS location service was on). The phone was not plugged in to charge. Approximately 8hrs later when I woke up (so the phone wasn't even touched all night) the battery was down to approx. 48%
The GSam battery info (screenshot attached) seems to indicate this is all down to Kernel & Android System (the handset wasn't warm).

There doesn't seem to be a lot happening here. Is anyone, besides myself, actually using this ROM? Is it being maintained or is the initial release the only release?

for me most of the things work perfectly, only the gcam doesn't work, the battery consumption even pleasantly surprised me

It is still in early developement stage at official channels - I think it will finally come to lavender officially (13.0)

This is the best rom for lavender. The battery stats are impressive, I don't know how they managed it. It's a pity that the camera does not work. Please, fix. I would really appreciate it
