[KERNEL][22/07] Bindu Kernel Kenzo 0.2.1

The project is in its infancy on the development, so if anyone has suggestions - write to the QMS.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, explosions, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm application failed, Please read the thread carefully before deciding to flash this kernel. Flash this on your own risk.
The core is designed to cm-13.0 firmware by Santhosh M (since I'm on it, and I can check).
In particular, it comes with boot.img on this firmware. Therefore, if someone wants to try other firmwares, you probably have to do some additional gestures.
Confirmed working on
Cm13 source based on Santhosh M
Try on other roms and tell me if it boots, i'll update the list.

hi am a noob using Santhosh M's CM13 rom [201607-18], i could not check the battery temperature. and i can see it now after flashing your kernel. :good:
btw, is the offline charging animation also located in boot.img?
it is now a static screen just showing "charging ??/100", any suggestion for changing it?
last, the op is not updated for quite a while as your kernel is 0.3.2 but op and title is still 0.2.1, you may consider updating the op also. thanks.

Regretfully, no DT2W or other tweaks at this time: the author focuses on applying the latest security patches.

Flashing Instructions
Download correct version of Hyper kernel
Make backup of system, boot in twrp
Flash the kernel zip and reboot
In case the kernel doesn't boot, you can restore your system and boot partition from twrp and you will not lose any data.

I am currently using CM13 with prebuild stock miui kernel and have no problems with exFAT formated ext. sdcard. So stock miui kernel suports exFAT.
If you have added it in your build it means Xiaomi did not release kernel source with exFAT support. Is that right?

tried this with [VoLTE][[6.0.1][6.0.1_r74]ResurrectionRemix-M-v5.7.4 however still VOLTE direct call does not work. Also i saw lags in this rom with this kernel please help.

1728Mhz CPU & 487 Mhz GPU is the limit.

I think for the developer it is a "5 minute project" to increase the limits.
Then each user can decide for himself which limit he uses.

Use app like Kernel Adiutor to set clocks whatever you want withing specified limits.
P.S Though with overclock you'll get only monstrous battery disharge, but no suffucient performance boost. This 6 year old tablet is not for gaming....

Thanks again for this kernel that makes my xperia tablet z running smooth and fast (10% to 20% faster without compromising battery capacity).
I would like to install this kernel in my xperia z (smartphone) but I don't really know what to modify to make it compatible. It is the same hardware. Only differences are a bigger screen, a bigger battery capacity, IR remote and no vibrator for xperia tablet z. Other components are strictly the same (CPU, GPU, RAM, ...).
Can you please help me by compiling MiPa kernel to make it compatible with my xperia z (yuga)?
If you're out of time to do so, could you please tell me what modifications to do? (If you have any documentation on how to build a kernel for xperia z, I am also interested in).

can you pull request and see if lineage os maintainer will merge some of these patches into the main kernel? it's a bit pain in the butt to check the topic for update and flash it everytime lineage os gets an update

You can try, but some changes just can be merged in LOS, due to their policy.

quick noob question (never flashed a custom kernel before):
I'm currently running the unofficial lineageOS 16 ROM. If I now flash this kernel here, and then later onflash an update of the entire ROM: is it correct to assuem that I would then have to flash the kernel again after the ROM is updated?

Hi! Great new kernel I just want to report that double tap to wake isn't working when I flash this on PE+ rom (oldcam rom). I know that it is maybe due to the fact that oldcam is not supported but can we expect to atleast get the d2tw working

dt2w work fine for rom with device tree based from los. seem dt2w sysfs might be different, but for sure i'll check it. Thank you.

I installed rain kernel on PE+, no issue so far. for oldcam ROMs, just flash newcamblobs.zip.
but when first install the kernel, it's aborting, say there no ramdisk to unpack. need magisk installed before to get kernel installed. thank you.
edit: seems led is not working on ROM that not based on los tree.

Theres no issue in latest twrp for me, about led i'll check it asap. Thank you.

drop caf variant, upstreamed stable for daily.
cleanup changelogs since caf variant droped.
Led issue on some rom should be fixed now.
