Ok i read a few posts here that diamond has usb host. Depending on the information how you can flash your rom using card reader it must have. And one thing more i found usb host debuging program. So i think it must have.
The question here is - does someone managed to use it for hard drive or keyboard or something like that ?
Regards
IIRC, the USB host functionality is only available in the boot loader, and there is no driver included for when WM is actually running.
Ok but cant it be included somehow in the windows ?
Diamond does not have USB host functionality. AFAIK, currently only X75xx series offers it.

And the Toshiba G900 has it as well. And it was frickin awsome .....
Last call !!!!
I am trying to draw an attention of experts/cooks again.
Please could somebody elaborate problem of an USB host within Diamond. Is it really impossible to add/implement the USB host driver into Diamond ROM or somewhere else to have that feature in? I simply do not believe in that.
its possible....but the diamond lacks developer's support , sadly

That maybe true, I don't know, but I'm sure the Raphael doesn't, so perhaps look for a solution in that forum?
If i knew how to write one i would do it -.-
USB Host
any conclusions yet? does this mean that the diamond has hardware in it, but does not have the driver? have anyone tried this cable? http://www.nazo-fjt.com/ptcep/w-zero3/es_usb.html
it's in japanese though, but in seconds through babelfish, it is readable in english.
anybody?
for example: anyone can modify RescoExplorer. so when you connect a pendrive to diamond, by resco you can see the pendrive as a second storage......i think thath the logic is this...
any news about this?I'm very interested in it...
There are news! It's there! Now we'd need a host driver and then a lot of Windows Mobile drivers for a lot of devices (what about watching TV with DVB stick? *fg*).
so do what about our WinMo's... I think its only for androids
does the touch pro have the hardware to use it as a universal remote? i think ive seen something like it for some phone but cant remember where. If it does work what is a program that will do it well on the TP?

I wouldn't have thought so - there's no Infra Red facility on the TP, is there?
Cheers,
Steve.

Dearest Gaz,
There is no USB (foldable or normal) keyboard that works on Windows Phone 8.
There is no USB device that will adapt a keyboard to work on Windows Phone 8.
There is no BLUETOOTH keyboard that works on Windows Phone 8.
& yes we understand that you feel this should be part of the Operating System, we do too.
On an ancillary note, if you post a question and someone takes the time to answer it, why do you not reply or hit the Thanks button? Common courtesy on this forum from what I understand...
Hi all! I found that a developer here at xda developed blueputdroid some years ago, but it seems that is incompatible with the stock rooted .205.
I want to use the phone as a ps3 controller, not only pair it to play games on android phone, but I searched and didn't found a method to get any app working.
I have another problem, I tried pairing via bluetooth on the ps3's menu, but the console doesn't found my phone, and I ensured that the phone was visible.
The question is, someone knows any method to use the phone as a gamepad? And a way to be detected by the console via bluetooth or wifi? Thanks!!

Yes, it has an option, but is for using the sixaxis as a gamepad.
What I wan't do is the opposite, use the phone as a gamepad.
Thanks for your response.

Thanks! The first is for pc, doesn't work for the console, but i'll try the video!
I am looking for a very specific app that I could be able to plug in a gamepad via USB-OTG and remotely use it on a PC. I found apps like Monect but they only work with built in touch controls and don't allow external devices. If anyone knows a solution, I would be more than glad to hear it

Sorry to answer with a question but wouldn't it be simpler to plug your game pad directly to your computer? Or maybe to use a wireless game pad connected to your PC?
What's the point of connecting a game pad to your phone and not directly to your computer? Adding some extra latency to make a game harder to play?
Sorry I'm very curious why
Well my gamepad is a cheap fake one that is hardly ever detected without third party apps but the reason is that I have an extremely short cable and I want to be able to use Steam's big screen on my TV with HDMI and play with a gamepad
Anyone ?
