[APP] Stock Lenovo Camera App for Custom Roms

Hi,
We can use our stock camera app in custom roms like LineageOS, AICP, DU.I only tested on DU but I think it should also work on other roms.
How to install it:
Flash it with TWRP and reboot to system.

Thanks, too bad about HDR, I've found a YT tutorial for a slightly different version : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHynh8stdqg with more settings. Will try HDR to see if it works.

For me Open camera is slower than stock taking photos. I don't know why. Why are you saying open is better? Thx!

I think it was the image quality.. did that long time back.
Go ahead and compare the the two or any other app..

I just buy new rear camera n replace it, but after i open the camera app, there is no button to change it to rear camera, it is front camera as default.
I use aosp extended rom.
Do i need to reflash rom?

Check the issue with other rom. If its not fixed then your rear camera module has not been attached properly.

I have flash fastboot rom latest miui global dev, still cant connect to camera, and when i check to CIT, it is unknown.
I think my camera module was broke

1) Download zip below.
2) Go to magisk→module→tap on add button→find this zip and flash it.
3) Reboot.
4) Download Google Camera app from here: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/camera/camera-5-0-009-165387063-release/
5) Install and done.
P.s. The link above is the latest google camera app version that can be used on mi max 2, cuz version later than that can only support android 8.0+

Miui Camera is Not Taking Portrait Pics

I am a Mi 5X user... I was using the AOSP Extended rom... It didn't had Miui cam, So i didn't took pictures by that...
With the latest build of the rom MiUi Cam got builtin into the rom... I took pictures in portrait mode but the pic wasn't with blur background... Or depth... It was just like a normal picture taken with the 2nd lens... I tried both outdoor and indoor but its same...
I flashed MiUi rom with TWRP (In which portrait mode was working before)... But now, even in this rom the portrait mode isn't working...
It goes to portrait mode... After taking portrait pictures, the background isn't blurred out...
Any guesses what might happened and how to fix this?

I did... As A1 and 5X is same to same copy, so A1's fixes can fix 5X as well

GCam uses Single Cam and Software Manipulation
But MiUi Cam has Both Cam support which does Hardware Manipulation for background blur
And i will delete this thread after possible solutions <3

I know the theory. In my knowledge full MIUI camera can't work in custom roms .. Even in MI A1 custom rom we don't have MIUI camera. One port available but only one lense works. No Telephoto lense works.
So in my knowledge 99% u won't get Telephoto lense works in Custom roms. ( May be future it will work, who knows)....
May be u can do a clean flash of ur MIUI rom to get all things back
And what i am saying is its a wrong section. U have to post this in Q&A section. Delete or not thats does not matter ....

I m not in any custom rom... M in miui (stock of mi 5x) but don't know why the portrait mode isn't working now

Try to clear data of camera from settings bro. Or try to flash the stock rom . Via MI Flashtool. A clean install will help u

ANX camera supports 48mgpxl & manual mode just like miui stock cam??

Yes it's working flawlessly for me on Evolution X ROM.
