Installation instructions:
Do a nandroid backup or app backup (your choice)
Download and copy rom and gapps on phone
Go into recovery
Do all wipe (also format system)
Choice install zip from sdcard
Select the rom and flash it
Select, after, gapps and flash it
Install super su (optional, the rom is pre-rooted, based on cm12)
Reboot
Enjoy!

Download Temasek for sprout8
Download GAPPS
1. Download the appropriate ROM & Gapps
2. Go to recovery
4. Factory reset
5. Wipe system
6. Install the zip from recovery.
7. Install GApps
8. Reboot! First boot will take around 10 minutes

Yes you can! If your storage is non-emulated then go for sprout4 and if your storage is emulated go for sprout8.

thanks i tried the RR 6.0 rom it kept boot looping from the main home screen seemed very skittish where as the AOKP rom is much more stable at least on my S7 Edge

Don't worry, AOKP hasn't been updated to the lastest, wait until it is then you'll have the same problems..... But like always, future fixes coming

Not exactly like RR. There are some differences. Currently I m working on fixing the OTA issue. Try the rom. You will notice differences

yes stable for daily use even always on display works without any problem , only issue is on opening gesture in settings give setting fc

What's AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
We added few non-AOSP features for a better user experience and we NOT going to add something other.

This rom is Android 11, lineage os 17.1 is Android 10.
This rom didn't boot for me, I am using redmi 7 2/16. If you want to try 11 I think pixysos is good.
