You can't add a frequency to your device. What your phone supports, is what you get.

i' am just hopping that 900 It's so common, the phone it's capable but not enable at kernel level or something. May be flashing from other region where that frequency it's use... but if you say so.

If it's capable then it will just work. You don't need a kennel to enable a frequency.

You should be posting this in General or eslewheres but not in Development. If you can access service menu you may be able to enable/disable the bands the phone supports.

How to activate HSUPA instead of HSDPA

HSUPA is available at my location and it would be nice for me to improove my upload speed.
I like my ROM but it doesn't support HSUPA. How to switch ON HSUPA? Kaiser Tweaks really does it
I just love it when people post questions that sound like statements to get me excited. And no, I've heard of nothing to let us do that.

I'm probably out of date with some of my figures here, but as I understand it the Kaiser limitations are 3.6Mbit/s download and 384kbit/s upload - originally designed using HSDPA chips and limited with hardware. The HSUPA upload theoretical maximum is 5.76Mbit/s, but is limited to our 384kb/s so no point pushing the boat out for this anyway.
Besides, why go for a mega fast upload speed when the Kaiser doesn't have enough memory capacity to require that sort of upload (<45 secs to dump the whole phone + 16MB card) - unless of course you've got some really good porn that you need to share in a few microseconds before deleting
I found an old 3D where was written that the chip is HSUPA compatible. Whether or not it is enabled in the phone may simply be a matter of a hack.
Well,...maybe the 3D is much too old, forget it!
i agree with peterfnet

To clarify, BlackSpawn, you want to enable HSUPA WHILE keeping HSDPA enabled, correct?
I haven't heard of any mods either to allow the HSUPA to be used, though it is another function of the Qualcomm MSM 7200 chipset used in the Kaiser. Here is some light reading for you that specs HSUPA at up to5.76 Mbps (cat 6). but when you question the htc site, it specs upload at up to 384 kbps (this is what I have found to be true.
This may very well be another instance of HTC not taking full advantage of the chosen chipset, as has been fought on THIS battle field.
If anyone has some good info on enabling HSUPA, please chime in

I think it's possible. You can feel it ie. when you choose powersave governor and the lowest frequency available for max. frequency when screen is off. Turn the screen off and call yourself. There's a long(er) delay until the GUI shows for the incoming call. Governor is part of the kernel. Frequencies are also a kernel job.
With a kernel malfunction almost anything can go wrong. The radio receiving a call does not mean your phone will let you answer it.
Just my 2 cents...

Oh sorry didn't read the question completely

Mi5 64GB slow LTE

Hi everyone,
Since I changed from MIUI to CM and now LineageOS, I have poor signal and very slow download speeds (~500kbps when it works). On GSM or WCDMA I always have full stable signal and reasonable transfers (~2.4Mbps).
There's anything I can do to improve LTE speeds?
I have the same problem, but slow speeds on every band

Dual GNSS

Could someone please run GPSTest and post a screenshot? I’d like to see it receiving L5/E5 frequencies. Also curious why the Google spec page says it doesn’t support Beidou?
Here you go. There is dual freq GNSS support.
