THIS IS THE ULTIMATE NOOB GUIDE TO GET THEMES WORKING ON THIS ROM
1.download this
2.open it
3.click no thanks.
4.click my files
5.click "phone internal storage"
6.hit menu button(the left most hardware button on your phone)
7.select more
8.select settings
9.select the second option i.e. file explorer settings.(if u see black text on black background then just try to pree the options to get them highlighted and visible)
10.check the root explorer option
11.click allow in the box that comes
12.hit back button two times such that u are in phone internal storage
13.find data and click it
14.find system and click it
15.press the menu button(the left most hardware botton)
16.select new
17.select "create new folder"
18 this is the most important step so follow it word to word
19.give the folder name "theme"(without quotes)
20.remember---> the folder name should be theme not themes,Theme etc...i mean all the alphabets should be small and write only theme not themes
21.click okay.
22.this should make themes working.if it still dont work then read the above steps again and try again.if u did everything same and still dont have themes working then i cant help u anymore.
23.IF themes work then go to themes and apply the one you like but uncheck the lockscreen because it wont fit our screen.use milocker to use that lockscreen.
24.if by any chance u are stuck at a huge lockscreen which u cant unlock then press back button and volume up button together at the lockscreen to unlock.change the lockscreen to default one as soon as possible to avoid that in future(to be done in themes not in milocker).

Very impressive. This is the first Miui v4 rom that I haven't removed from my phone within 6 hours of flashing. Everything is smooth and blazingly fast, everything that I need works. 3rd party apps have problems with setting notifications, but that I believe is a Miui issue. Well done :good:

The 3rd party notificiation problem seems to be a known issue, specifically on WhatsApp. There is a workaround for this found here :

Look in \res\xml\preferences.xml
Search for android:ringtoneType="all"
Replace with android:ringtoneType="notification"
I have attached WhatsAppPlus Holo v 2.85 that I edited and is working to this post

Panorama in cm9 camera doesn't work for me.

White cursor in white text field
In the messaging app, the cursor is white in white background. Very irritating during editing. I've seen this in other MIUI Roms as well. Anyway to fix this?

My precise thoughts when I first booted into the rom. But you can always download one from the theme app.
I use widget locker as a substitute, much faster and better.

i've noticed that, in call volume is too low, and speaker phone doesn't work...

I've just installed it. At first is very smooth, much better than Archi's preview5 (like preview 4).
Comes with almost nothing, it is ultra debloated. Very nice for me, I don't like bloatware!
Auto rotation and wifi work nice. Some graphic glitches, gone after AGNi kernel v4.0 r2.
In fact, AGNi kernel makes it a lot more smoother!
It has the S5 toggle menu and the keyboard secondary symbols.
Good ram usage:
After boot (and my 35 personal apps installed) : 501MB used
After opening 20 apps and not closing them: 650 MB
Very nice for the moment!
Warning:
Flash the rom, reboot, open the camera, then reboot and flash AGNi kernel. If you flash the rom and the kernel at the same time the camera won't work!
EDIT
At first root worked, then after the kernel flashing Superuser stopped working (missing SU binary)
Fixed with: http://download.chainfire.eu/420/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99.zip
It has no Keyboard language packs (only russian?). I fixed it replacing the app /system/app/SamsungIME.apk with the one on Archi's preview 5. Remember to put the correct permissions!

Nice ram usage in screen shot. Its v2. could you please place v1 & v2 changelogs & complete features list that what you have included in this rom so that everyone can choose best rom according to their taste. It would be great help to us. Thanx a lot.

So far its the best KK stable ROM for daily use... Now there is one issuse I don't like with these KK ROMs, the Dialer , My God the dialer is raised leaving empty space at the bottom, can you fix that please. See screensot.

What about battery life guys??

Battery life on this ROM seems to be a little bad compared to other ports,maybe some time needed.
Btw,hey alex,ROM works really well and smooth,but I don't like battery icon with it's battery percentage inside. Could you please provide flashable zip to remove it? After that your ROM will be my daily driver.

Hi malte
The edges of the widget search bar of the google search application I downloaded from google playden are square. Same as your samsung s8 with rounded edges like yours. I downloaded your rom and changed it in the system priv-app with velvet.apk in velvet.apk in the original rom, but again it is not round, but square wigdet search bar comes out. How can I fix this?

Friend I tried the rom in an A710M The rom fails in the main has no signal and the gallery stops a lot does not allow to see videos example I put a video and it stays after or the cell phone is restarted or the application reboots That's what I could see in failure

Friend I tried the rom in an A710M The rom fails in the main has no signal and the gallery stops a lot does not allow to see videos example I put a video and it stays after or the cell phone is restarted or the application reboots That's what I could see in failure

amigo de hay no I've seen more errors brother if no bother I have a lineage rom if you want to give it to Develop friend if you continue with this excellent rom it looks good has Samsung experience 9.5

Aroma is very buggy, sometimes the rom also. But If you fix these 2 points its another good rom for A5/A7 (etc.)

Hello, I have installed in A710M, There is problem with the phone signal, front camera effects do not work.

This is a custom ROM, it needs TWRP, which will install modified binaries on your phone, so, secure folder, samsung pay, and some other features won't work anymore

Please, tell, are the issues that are present on all note fe ports like:
Poor auto brightness
Camera modes not working
Microphone not working in some cases with dual speakers
are fixed in this rom? Also, does it have Galaxy gear libs?

When you see @morogoku in Thanks List you should know wifi/camera mods and auto brightness problems are fixed. Since he made this fixes 8 days ago and support this project means fixes are included. As I remember dual speaker problem also fixed before so If dev add it It works too.

1.Installation of third party apps taking alot of time for installation to proceed
2.Circular battery showing different percentage than stock battery percentage.

It is a seperate project.

Nice ROM so far! No big issue that I can think of, but there's one thing missing for me: the S View cover isn't recognized and doesn't work (clock display and wake on open).

Nice Rom. First install, no phone audio(no wipe/data)...
Second install (FORMAT, ALL WIPE) , OK.
No trafic monitor.
