I was looking p10 for 500€ o oneplus 5 8/128 for 550 with a 10% of discount (500€ final price) and I see that the OnePlus has better characteristics that p10 and when Huawei will say that don't want to update it anymore, you won't have any possibility but for OnePlus you have alot

Its snapdragon version.
My biggest question is because they only develop for devices with snapdragon and not also with kirin processors? are the same arm64 architecture.

This is pretty unreal to see now official support from LOS, so, I wouldn't suggest to be very excited about this. Wait, and we will see what will happen.
Edit: http://www.lineageosrom.com/2017/03/los-15-list-of-devices-getting-lineage.html?m=1 This is a site what gets official info from LOS, and there are just Snapdragon Huawei's.
There won't be official LineageOS 15. It's too modified.
then it is false?

Not likely. The actual "intro" for that list is
Well, below is the expected list of devices on which we expect the LineageOS 15 ROM to release sooner or later.

They said the same about Nougat so...
Also if it comes out it'll be for the snapdragon version (as was the case already I think)
its a scam site... or click bait call it whatever you want. but its completely fake . dont trust the internet!
It's really good! We can hope until "P8 Lite" for the author means the 2017 one, lol
LOS 15 build is around the corner, but not official  Hope it will be so good as AOSPA 7.1.2

Do you guys think that j3 2017 will recieve oreo?
Comment your thoughts!!?
According to other blogs and reporting.. it looks like yes, they will probably be oreo for this phone in Q3 this year but not if you root the phone.

tmobile removed the device from it's site out of nowhere. It is supposed to still be in development but neither tmobile or samsung could give me information on it.

I was talking about J3 2017 (Unlocked or unbranded ones), not the carrier specific (T-Mobile,AT&T and others) so does that means the carrier specific models won't get Android Oreo?(depends on the carrier)

Probably because T-Mobile released the J3 2018 (J3 Star) in there store? , so they don't have to bother updating it (that my guess..):silly:
update: I just got the oreo update yesterday

But every newer OS is larger in storage size and in RAM so it should run slower
The above sentence comes from IT experiance (dont even think about Windows10 as a example)
Oh no! there are some minor stuff that got removed or changed on the Oreo update :
The auto rotation quick toggles animations got removed.
The slide close animation when turning off the screen/display got changed.
Opera Max on Ultra Power Saving mode got replace with Samsung Max.
But anything else is fine or got upgrade.
and yes Android 8.0 is a lot faster and smoother and better ram management.

I'm in shock cause I don't see and feel any difference between Android 7 and Android 8
Has that happened ever before? For example when KitKat turned into Lolipop then Marshmellow than Nougat?
(4.4.2->5.1.1->6.0->7.0->8.x)
I have it on 8.0 but a couple of reviews I've read say 8.1.
Can others on the forum confirm which version of OS they're using?
Mine is still on 8.0.0...
Same here in PT, 8.0.0

Just recently bought back my Note FE (FD Variant).
Apparently, the bootloader is unlocked
(Dev Options, OEM Unlock w/note stating the bootloader is unlocked)
Google Play Store says Device Uncertified,so,seems it's ready to root.
I'm still on Oreo,Pie isn't a concern,stock/rooted Oreo is fine with me.
Soooooo, I'm just wanting to verify with someone who still has the phone which TWRP to use before proceeding.
TIA. :good:
