Here we go with a simple guide to make your own font module using my template attached here.
Steps:
1. Download Total Commander from play store (free). Or the apk from https://www.ghisler.com/ce.htm
2. Download my template module from here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/117VFMHzCtoZigOBHm_K8IyzSCF4o3CkL
3. Browse the template using total Commander in one pane. Don't unzip it, just browse the file as it is. Total Commander can do that easily. Browse to System/fonts
4. On the other pane of total Commander browse the fonts that you have prepared in advanced. You can use your favorite recovery flashable font pack, or your custom edited fonts. Rename them exactly as the screenshot. The name should match the font style.
Use fontfix from playstore to open a font and make sure of it's weight, i.e. bold, italic, conde etc.
This are the needed fonts for a complete module (according to my preferences)
5. Select all the fonts and copy them to the System/font folder that is opened on the other pane. Total CMD will pack them to the zip module.
6. Now on to the pane where your module is, go back to the base of your module and edit these two files:
config.sh (just the ui_print here)
module.prop (it's easier here as there are just a few lines)
Edit them by long pressing the files in total cmd and choose Unpack+Edit
In the template you will see xxx. Those are the places that you can edit.
See these example with Lato font:
Config.sh:
Module.prop:
After closing each file, the app will ask you if you want to save the edited file and repack it. Select yes.
Now go one level up in total cmd, rename your zip file as you like and your module is ready to use.
Let see if this works for you.
Let me know if you run into issues and/or something is not clear.
Enjoy!
Pro tip:
If you don't have all the font variants, you can use the closest one to that.
For example, if you miss the medium.ttf variant you can use a copy of the light.ttf one and rename it as xxxMedium.ttf and so on.

I see in the screenshot that your rom is using bold (or regular) fonts for lock screen clock.
You should use light fonts for that. If your room has lock screen clock custom font try to change the font to light instead of bold or regular...
All fonts here do not have the ? In lock screen.
Sensation font module uploaded. Link in OP.
39 modules reached and more to come!
3 new modules coming later today:
Three new font modules are up:
1. Barlow condensed
2. Roboto Light
3. Traveling Typewriter. (Don't underestimate the rustic charm!)
Enjoy them!

It's working fine here. How are you downloading? Through an app (xda labs, tapatalk)? Or through an internet browser?

I am reviving and moving the thread from the Evo forum where fachadick started this tremendous thread, with his approval. These flashable zips are simple to use and should work on virtually any device.....moreover, the WORST that will happen is nothing will change. Finally, your device must be rooted.
Here is a link to the original thread 300 Flashable Font Packs - Change your system fonts the easy way! Most of the edify font appear in post 1006, 1014, 1418 and 1419.
To use:
Just copy to sdcard and flash - these only change three files in the /system/fonts folder (effectively changing your main system fonts), so you can flash one on top of the other until you find one you like, but if you want to do a Nandroid backup first, that's probably the best idea.
Separate font for the dialer
JsChiSurf developed a hack over in this thread this thread so that you can have a different font for just the dialer.
Create your own FontPacks/Fix bolding issues
It's actually really easy. All you need to do, is get yourself a ttf of the font in regular and bold - or just regular if it doesn't come in bold. rename two copies of the regular ttf "Clockopia.ttf" and "DroidSans.ttf". rename the bold version (or the third regular version) "DroidSans-Bold.ttf" (note these are case sensitive). open up one the fontpacks with 7zip, go into the system folder, then go into the fonts folder. Drag the new fonts (the ones you renamed) and drop them into the now open fonts directory in 7zip - say yes when it asks you if you're sure you want to copy. Close down 7zip, change the name of the zip file, and you're ready to go! As long as you do this exactly as I described (and don't add or remove other files), you don't even need to resign the fontpack!
Use ADB instead of flashing
If you want to push the fonts to the phone with ADB instead of flashing them, check out this post
Use Terminal Emulator instead of flashing
If you want to use terminal emulator to change the fonts instead of flashing them, check out this post
MIUI Rom
These packs will not work for you. However, EndlessDissent put up a thread on miui-dev where he packaged up a ton of these and put them in a format that miui's built-in themer can recognize.
Font Changer
Although I have not used Font Changer from the Market, Many have said it works well....feel free to extract the .ttf files from a font-pack and use them!
Finally, if you do not see a font you are looking for, post a link to the .ttf file and I will make a font-pack for you.
The font-packs are organized Alphabetically in the first few posts. I will try to make a preview for each one......but this is a lot of work, unless someone wants to help...hint...hint!

I am sorry, but I am not entirely sure what you are asking. If you have a font file (.ttf) I can certainly mike it into a flashable zip file for you....But I need to get the file from you or post a link for me. None of the font packs will hurt your phone, they just would not change the font.
Please let me know if I have answered your question....

Guide Screenshot 10
Do the same procedure for all the Modules and PNG's and color's in it. Framework-miui-res and Framework-res are most important modules. Changes in Framework-miui-res effects all the MIUI applications, especially colors and Changes in Framework-res module can effect both MIUI apps and any other 3rd party app so be careful !!!! you might get white on white color problem.
Note: You dont need to recompile your 9.png's. just add contents and strech borders using the "NinePatchEditor" or sdk Draw9Tool. and thats it put it in the theme and compress the theme and it will do the rest.
Testing
Now its time to test your theme before release/share. You should test all the MIUI apps for proper theming as well as 3rd party apps for color problems. If you find any problem then just reopen or drag drop you theme directory on Theme Editor to reopen /edit your theme.

Just a reminder that RRO/Layers themes work out of the box with marshmallow, assuming you are rooted. The official layers app does not seem to work for me, but you can head to /System/Vendor/ and manually create a folder called overlay within that folder. (You should end up with /system/vendor/overlay) You will need to mount /system with R/W access, which means you'll need something like root explorer.
From there, copy any RRO theme APKs into that directory and reboot. You will want to be careful though, incompatible APKs may cause that application to crash - and an incompatible SystemUI.apk will cause the phone to bootloop.
Update 11/6 - the beta version of the layers app works great. It should be in the play store soon, but you can sideload the APK from here : https://plus.google.com/117376207394302665227/posts/P5Z41eL57bz
Just as an example, I am running an RRO version of the CM12 theme coalfield on my new 6p

And here are the APK files if you want to give it a try: <Mod Edit - Link Removed> Just move the individual APK files to /system/vendor/overlay as mentioned in the first post. Also, I removed the settings.apk theme file as it causes the settings app to crash. Everything else seems to work great!
All credit to Kohlewrrk. (who has not had a problem with posting this version elsewhere) The theme can be downloaded for free from : <Mod Edit - Link Removed> .. If you want to support the designer, please purchase his paid CM12.1 theme.

I can't get it working :l
Step 1: Move the base.apk file of a RRO theme from /data/app/<themefolder> to /system/vendor/overlay
Step 2: Open "Layers" app and apply theme.
Step 3: Reboot.
?
The layers app is your problem, uninstall it. Just manually move the apk files to /system/vendor/overlay and reboot. No need to apply or install anything
Ahh I finally figured it out. I was trying to apply this SkyBlue Layers theme. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bitsykolayers.SkyBlue
When it's installed, all the files are contained in a single APK in data/app/<themefolder>.
I had to extract the contents of the APK, extract the contents of a .ZIP file within, and then copy those files to system/vendor/overlay.
Dang, I was trying to get layers to work through Layers Manager and gave up despite knowing Marshmallow had RRO support built in natively. Thanks for sharing!
I'm adding a nav bar layer apk into the overlay folder from the navigate app on the playstore, have extracted correctly from the zip but it still isn't applying, I'm rooted with busybox etc, are there certain permissions or something silly I'm missing? Any help appreciated, cheers
I set permissions just look at other files in system for correct permissions

I can't get this to work! I have tried all the instruction exactly. RRO location is correct, all apks extracted from the coal theme. Permissions set to 0644. What am I missing here?
I'm rooted but no busybox. Uninstalled Layers too

Test version of Layer manager that solves the issue with creating vendor/overlay on 5X and 6P
You need to uninstall the playstore version and sideload it
Do not work yet with Styles, so don't go with Magpie/CommuteUI. I have got Inversion UI to work just fine on my 6P, see attachment. Post any bug/issue you have that's not reported yet on that gplus post.

Midnight is a good one(Hangout/G+ on it is style based so currently unsupported through layer manager). Download the Layer Showcase app from playstore for a easy way to find them. Should be enough to satisfy you until Layer devs work out that bug.
For those of you using dark themes what are you doing about the contacts text always being black? I'm currently using destiny dark theme and its a bit grey so its readable .
Maybe if we're lucky someone will edit the contacts.apk with the fix

- change theme feature
- 7 empty user folders in ui.zip/themes/ where you can place your own mods and mixes
- chmod 644 button for file manager
thanks to @z31s1g for his great TWRP 2.x theme
had a peek into your files to learn about extra functions...
credits for the amazing auto generated backup name feature are to you !!!
also your work gave me the idea to add a change theme feature in the first place.
:good:
How to install the theme:
- do not use these themes on TWRP 2.8.x, so make sure you´re running TWRP 3.0.0.x or greater!
- choose your version and flash the zip file in recovery
- hit home button - advanced - reload theme
- head to advanced - theme options - change theme and choose your favorite color
Versions:
- v4 is compatible with twrp 3.5.x (themeversion 4)
- v3 and up should work on portrait and landscape devices
- standard seems to work on most devices but not on all using /sdcard/ as path for internal storage
- marshmallow version should work on all devices running marshmallow using /data/media/0/ as path
- @G.M.L made a version for devices using /emmc/ as path for internal storage --> here
flash at your own risk. always have a backup before flashing stuff...
i am not responsible if anything goes wrong.

old versions:
how to change TWRP splash screen
As every device has its own TWRP.img which cant be used on another device,
you´ll need to download the lastest TWRP.img for your device (the one you actually have flashed on your device )
now the .img file has to be extraced... there´s a great tool for that task named Android Image Kitchen
so hit the link above and download the version of your choice in the attachment of the first post.
personally i used v2.4 for windows while writing this...
extract Android Image Kitchen to your desktop and copy your TWRP.img into that folder
open the Android Image Kitchen folder in your explorer and drag the TWRP.img file into the unpackimg.bat with your mouse
ignore the split_img folder that was created in that process and open the ramdisk folder
inside the ramdisk folder enter the twres folder
the stock splash screen uses to .png files from the images folder inside that twres folder:
- splashlogo.png
- splashteamwin.png
those files already exist in the theme.zip in a matching version for each color and you can just copy them
to your Android Image Kitchen\ramdisk\twres\images folder replacing the existing ones
or edit them to your likings in gimp or whatever you wanna use and save them (needs to be saved as .png file!)
if you want to use a custom fullscreen splashscreen use the splash.xml from the attachment (unzip to twres folder)
and place a 1080x1920 (or 1920x1200 for landscape) .png file into images folder and name it splash.png
additionally you can edit the splash.xml inside the twres folder where the background of the splash screen is controlled
the lines you need to edit are line 20 - 22
Code:
<variable name="background_color" value="#222222"/>
<variable name="header_color" value="#555555"/>
<variable name="accent_color" value="#0090CA"/>
first is the main background, second the header color and last should be the color for TWRP version on the bottom
the color needs to be in hex format
after you´re done save the xml file and close it
head back to the Android Image Kitchen folder and double click on the repackimg.bat file
this will create a image-new.img in that folder which is your modified TWRP.img
now you can flash that img file same way you´d flash a stock TWRP.img
.
On M9 you have to put ui.zip in TWRP/theme folder in INTERNAL storage for it to work.
Thanks @fichl looks great

Lol that's unexpected. It seems you read the wiki and take it literally. You must replace the existing line 29. This is how it should be like.
So after I edit line 29, I reflash the module.

Short answer: No, Magisk requires reboot. It's Magisk side of things.
Long answer: Kind of. If you have an PC, go this website. Drop font file to the website. (All font files are inside the zip itself)
Check OP. I've just uploaded a simple video demonstrates what San Francisco font is capable of. You'll be able to play with those sliders yourself soon.
Updated OP. You can now play with San Francisco variable font yourself and better understanding how to configure the font the way you want.

1. Never quote the OP. That's annoying.
2. There's no issue to be solved. Your ROM is just not supported yet. There's no tester/maintainer.
3. How can you be an OMF user if the module didn't work for you? Do you change ROM regularly? If so I don't recommend using OMF. It's pointless to help someone who will switch to another ROM anyway. For that reason I only support specific devices (stock ROMs).

I think the best bet is to allow customization directly from magisk (just like how Full screen imersive gesture allows it) all this editing is super hard to do, I don't know how to do it right, or better still you can make a video tutorial.

The developer spelled out the instructions quite well, provided what would happen if you adjusted your font weight, and additional options. Maybe adding a few commented out lines to the configuration file for the GS=false and OTF options could be added to the configuration file... but I could probably take a guess where they would go (probably under the OPSZ option).
I would rather edit a static text file that will overwrite itself with an update/incorrect configuration, which will prevent bootloops, rather than click the volume keys frequently to adjust stuff.
The Wiki provided a nice explanation, and gave good background information on how font weights and styles work.
Honestly, I prefer this to other font modification modules I had installed (FontConfig, other systemless font replacement modules).. it has way more customization than other modules. After you edit the text file on your phone, save a copy if there is an update.
Thanks, @nongthaihoang for the module. It is really well done.

There are unlimited number of possibilities for the config. Imagine how many different combinations of 4 axis values from the demo link in the OP. How does that fit on "allow customization directly from Magisk". Are you willing to press the volume key hundreds, thousands of time instead of typing few lines of text to get what you want? I don't think so. It's not even possible to do it that way.
"Great power comes great responsibility". The config is there but not for everyone, it's only for those who spent time to read and understand. The module works without the need of configuring anything. You can stay with the default settings.

The config only contains essentials. Other hidden ones are like a reward for those who read the wiki.
You can add these options anywhere in the config file doesn't matter. The whole config file will be parsed by the installer.
And you're welcome.

Is there a workaround? It was great in OOS10
