LineageOS OTA server?

Recently I googled for Lineage OS for our device and I came across with this link which claims to provide OTA updates.

Has anyone tried it yet? I haven't since I haven't got time for it.

It's not the gbmasterdoctor's version of LineageOS. It's from another user.

updates will be from ota?
Edit 1 - Im testing the rom and Im loving so far...I could use it as a daily driver if my voice and the other person's voice wasn't distorced when I make calls, but it's a very nice rom, keep up the good work!
Edit 2 - youtube videos are very, very, very, very, very, very laggy...xD

Yes, but bt not work, gsm signal is very low and everytime lost the signal

which ROM are you using?

p1m40
Dev is there any rom available specifically for the device p1ma40 coz when i tried to flash RR nougat for p1m the device booted up successfully and rom was fine but when i restarted the device it went into a boot loop reflashed the rom again but still same problem arises. Plzz provide the solution

MIUI 8 REPACK AND RR 5.5.9 were good and stable

INSTALLATION

No. Samsung Pay will not working at the time user install TWRP.

If I install a custom rom now, will i lose future updates from SAMSUMG and always install a different custom rom?

Any related with knox will not work if you root. Root user also can't receive OTA update. Updating firmware can be made by flashing with odin.

Is there a way to install a mod to merge SD card with internal storage on this rom? It worked on marshmallow but idk if it works on nougat

I love this clean ROM as much as I like the steady increase of hope here in the community.
By that @kumbangdesa, could I ask you a favor of making the same ROM for the oreo update? Sammobile has the vietnam 8.0.0 update around now. I could've done it but I lack the knowledge to do these things.

After this update, the screen of my A7 2017 is having problems.
She is very sensitive and sometimes does not respond.

Samsung replied to my OSS request today with word that they'd shared kernel source for the 2019 Galaxy Tab A 10.1 [SM-T510/T515].

You will not regret it
I am so happy with it after I managed to root it.
Other than using "key combo" to turn it on, everything works as it's supposed to including Titanium Backup.
There's some headache on T590 and the users cannot use Titanium Backup even it's rooted

HI, I just got T515 to use on a project. I am very new to android and I would like to root it for the project. So far I follow "getdroidtips" but it almost break my tablet. Any suggestion on rooting?

I built NoKnox and TWRP for the SM-T515 after they posted the kernel source, but my volunteer tester couldn't get them to work. Maybe you'll have better luck?
(Unfortunately, I don't have the hardware to test myself. They're not selling them in the U.S.)

The TWRP and NoKnox builds for SM-T515 are linked in this post, and you're welcome to give them a try. I'll build another test release when we get the next kernel source update.

I bought this tablet recently which is a Korea set but i realized it comes as t515n model. Does anyone know if this twrp will work?

BTW, the T510XXU2ASI4 kernel source was published this week.

I managed to install TWRP on SM-T515 and root it using Magisk Zip. I tried many files but that one worked:

I've also backed up rooted stock using TWRP , but cannot recover it using same app.
I've also tried to install Nexus Stock ROM but failed. I'll try to learn how to compile LineageOS on this device. Any help on compiling it would be appreciated. The missing parts as I understand are:
- some way of doing backups well, so I can recover from them and go "back in time"
- TWRP flashable zip package with Nexus ROM or LineageOS

You can't backup stock using TWRP because the data partition is encrpted. You can format the data partition with TWRP, but you lose EVERYTHING on the partition when you do. Not just things lost when wiping, but all saved stuff like photos, videos etc.

Hi there great to see Samsung development still going on. I had rooted a Samsung tab 2 7.0 long time ago and again have a Samsung tab A 10.1 LTE(T515). I would like to know whether your ROM builds would work with the LTE variant too? With network working too?

As you can see there is practically no custom ROM for this device... My custom ROM is a modification of the stock firmware. So there's not much to check...
I know that you made some firmware for Nio. Maybe you'll want to build something for PStar? That would be great!
I installed your ROM's on PStar, but does not work NFC and MotCamera.

It would be wonderful to get a fully functional rom with good camera support. Magisk 25.2 does not work with stock rom.

I built a couple roms for pstar (PE+ and ForkLineage - no motocam3 yet), but i keep them to myself so far. The trees provided from the Lineage OS thread are working well
