Can anyone confirm if this Oreo update kills root? Been reading user comments, but no one is commenting on it.
Also if it does kill root - will SamFAIL or any other method root this Oreo rom? TIA.

There is no Oreo root for Snapdragon yet just 7.1.

Maybe getting sober and then type "Root Note 8 Pie" in site search will help. Detailed guides are available, updated to Pie.
So after almost 3 years with the note 8 I root it.
Can you please tell me what is the most customized/black rom?
I want to install xposed so hopping someone can tell me which one to download becuse there are so many.

Hi everyone. i searched the forum but did not find any suitable information, i hope i did not miss anything.
I have a Nokia 8, Model: TA-1004 (Dual SIM), running the latest known stock update to me Android 9 00WW_5_15G_SP04.
I have some company SW on the phone which starts to make a fuzz about the to old Android version (9) so i have to either buy a new phone or update the current one. Problem is that my company does not allow any rooted devices. Is there any chance to update it to a newer version of Android without root?
Does anybody know? The phone is otherwise great and it would be a bugger having to buy a new one just because of this.

You can put Android 12 Pixel Experience on it, default is unrooted. But ofcourse you need to unlock the bootloader.

Nokia Bootloader Unlock Took doesn't work anymore but you can still unlock using this guide: https://www.techmesto.com/guide-unlock-bootloader-nokia-android-phones/
After bootloader unlock you can install T-Virus, it includes PixelExperience Android 12, then just take OTA to latest version.
