download zedge and download any notification tone from there and apply it as a notification from within the app. that should change it. that's the only app I can think of rn. good luck
Go to apps, system apps, and look for media storage, and look for set at default and clear default.

Hey, I just got into flashing roms and such... just moved from CM 10 stable to beast 4.2.1 and everything went great except from settings that got missing which are mainly 3:
1. I joined contacts together with their facebook profile in order to get their picture when calling them but when i flashed the new rom that was gone... any way of keeping it?
2. all my ringtones aren't synced anymore... now when i have someone who used to own a ringtone of his own i got no ringtone at all... same question
3. my entire launcher stayed the same but the widgets aren't working... any way of fixing that?
4. (different question) in the power widget in the notification drawer there was an option to change the time the screen takes to turn off, that option isn't available in the quick settings panel... is there other way to enable it? (besides getting the power widget again)
thanks!

1. You have to use HaxSync with the Jellybean work-around to sync Facebook contacts/pictures. There may be alternative apps available but this is just what I myself use.
2. Not sure what you are trying to ask. Just go into Sound settings or your music player and set a ring tone.
3. This is normal. I'm assuming they either look like white or black boxes? Just delete and reapply your widgets.
4. Not that I know of.

1. found a solution... restored my 4.1.2 contacts storage via titanium and it's working great.
2. What I mean is that when I set a custom ringtone and flash a new rom that ringtone isn't working anymore... (which makes me miss some calls...)
3. oh wellz
4. oh wellz using widgetsoid for that now...
New question (since i can't post in development)... In CM 10 I had Developer Settings in the settings menu... and on beast 4.2.1 i don't have them... is that normal? is there a fix for that?
thanks for you help
I have this weird problem. I'm using my HTC One and when I'm in Messages app and try to touch the icons in top of the screen (search, add and settings), despite of the "click" sound nothing happens. This happens also with the icons in Call and People apps. Can anyone help with this?

Hi there,
when I lock my Mate S I eventually get notifications from threema and Whatsapp. The Threema notifications are always doubled, the exact same notification and for Whatsapp I get group notification for every single message with the sender and for the group chat with the counter of the messages.
I know from some other posts some of you have also problems like this. Has anybody found a launcher and lockscreen combination to fully disable the stock lockscreen? I currently have the Smart Launcher installed and I love it, but when you activate the lockscreen the stock lockscreen stays on top or beneath it, even when you disable it in the Themes Section of the settings.

Thank you, that really did the trick finally!
Edit: Apparently that only did work 1 day, the bug appeared again. Someone got another idea?
I am having trouble with the brief pop-up style notifications working. Whenever I get a notification it should pop up near the front facing camera, whether the screen is on or off. I'd say 95% of the time it does not pop up, but it seems to randomly. I have enabled all apps to pop up, and have tried with only some apps. Neither seem to work. Does anyone have a solution to this?
Thanks!
not enough to enable app , inside every app in notification u must see and apply POPUP , make sure of that
That worked, thanks so much!!

I followed your suggestion and it works! Unfortunately, I've got a new problem with messenger automatically turning off "show as pop-up". I have no idea why..... But everytime it has a new notification, it will turn off itself without any changing from me. Let my screenshots describe. The first pic is before the new message comes, the second pic is after.
go inside setting / notification / messenger /notification categorises , check them all inside each one

Hello. I already hated that Xiaomi forces you to use Themes in order to change notification or ringtone sounds, but at least I was able to revoke the privacy authorization after applying the new sound and have it still work.
Now I noticed that everything custom but my ringtone doesn't play any sounds and the only solution is to keep Themes enabled.
Is anyone else having this issue? Any workaround?

I'm not even sure it's on purpose or some bug, because the Themes app now keeps showing a notification when starting it that it needs a reset in order to transfer the files to the new folder location required by the new Android version. So maybe there's some bug that it doesn't keeps the correct location pointer or something?
Is there a way to just bypass this stupid Themes app and adjust sounds using a different theme manager?
I will update that it seems the only custom sounds that don't revert are the global default notification sound and the ringtone which can be set from the "settings > sound & vibration" page. The available local sounds that are found in the root folder system/media/audio, from which accessible as "pre-installed ringtones" in Themes are the alarms, notifications and ringtones folders, are retained as well after Themes is revoked, so perhaps if an ogg file will be inserted into these folders it would also appear in Themes as a pre-installed sound and will be retained, but that requires root access which I don't have.
