Could anyone give me a link to download stock MIUI kernel. I wanna go back to stock rom after installed custom rom. Unfortunately, I forgot to backup stock ROM (and boot.img which is kernel) back there.
Thanks
Just download the official ROM. You will get the boot.img. Then you can get the kernel from the boot.img

Make a backup of your Data and Apps with Titanium Backup and Flash Back to ICS or JB with LG Flash Tool for clean Installation and remember always make a nondorid back up before you install any custom Roms in future.
Good Luck.
Don't Forget to thank SnXo for his post about flashback to ICS or JB.
Could someone could link me to the flashable stock kernel? Many Thanks!
Reflash whatever rom youre running and itll flash stock kernel with it.

Hello,
I have cyanogenmod installed and was going to put meow kernel on but don't know how to revert to stock kernel in case I don't like it or just basically just to know how to do it, does anyone know how to do this? Do I have to completely reinstall cyanogenmod just to get back to stock kernel?
Thank you
you can extract boot.img from the CM ROM, and flash it via fastboot.
the boot.img is the CM stock kernel.

I recently flashed the Franco kernel on my Nexus 6. I'm rooted running stock. I did not back up my stock kernel but would like to go back to it. How do I go about doing this? Thanks in advance.
2 ways..
1) find a stock ROM that can be flashed from Custom recovery
2) fastboot flash the boot.img from the factory images on the Google website.
Download https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=F1ED4BADFEE3FC02&id=F1ED4BADFEE3FC02!380 stock kernel and flash it in recovery.
Do note that the stock kernel is encryption enforced.
Thank you very much

OK guys and gals I need help with a kernel flashing problem. I want to take the kernel from a rom and use it in another rom. I'm not going to name roms just that they are compatible roms. Here's what I did. I extracted the boot.img file from a rom. Then boot in twrp and flash the img file then flashed supersu 2.79. Reboot but I always get stuck in bootloop. What am I doing wrong?

Then it would appear that the kernel is unsupported on the other rom, for example you can't take a stock kit Kat roms kernel and use it with CyanogenMod roms. However without logs, no one is going to really be able to tell you what's really wrong..
