Closing apps force closes them - Lenovo Zuk Z2 Pro Questions & Answers

Whenever I close apps from my recent apps it automatically force closes them. This is a bit annoying as the apps I close stops giving me notifications until I reopen them. Even my alarm won't go off if I closed the clock app from my recent apps. I know I can lock the apps so that they won't be closed. Though I don't see that as a solution as it means I'd have to have all of my apps open in order for to get notifications, which literally eliminates the purpose of closing apps.
I looked into this thread where it says it was solved by update 2.0.133 ST. I'm currently using version 2.5.462 ST and still I have the problem.
Does anybody have a solution?

"My Apps" in Market

Hi, all of a sudden the apps that I have on my phone that are free don't show up in the My Apps section on the android market. Only the paid apps are there, and if I get a free app now, that one will show up, but all the other apps that I currently have on my phone are not there anymore. Is there a way to correct this?
Thanks
This has been happening to me as well. Once I went to Manage Applications and cleared data and cache for the market, and it fixed it. It happened again, but that fix didn't work a second time. Eventually they all showed up again after a little while. It hasn't happened since, but I'm hoping it doesn't.
BTW, I'm running jaybob413's CM6 31DEC release
this has been happening to my as well with my mt4g stock rooted. Clearing the data/cache of the market, opening the market, installing something, closing the market and then reopening it has gotten my apps to show back up in the "My apps" area.

Google search app force closing

Is anyone else having the issue of the Google search app force closing non stop. It continuously pops up and says force close all throughout the day and I can't seem to fix the issue without disabling the app which obviously don't want to do because like myself I'm sure we all use it as a great tool. Thanks for your input and feedback. This is the only device I've had this issue with.
Try clearing the cache and data?
Did
Is anyone else having this issue as well or am I the only one for some reason?

[Q] how to exclude Sirius xm from being closed when you close all recent apps

Every time I close all in recent app switcher in 5.1 my Sirius xm app gets closed to. Is there any way to make an app immune to bring closed? Via recent app screen
Confused - the stock ROM doesn't have a "close all" in the recent apps. What ROM are you on?
Your signature shows OnePlus, and your username shows S4 ...
There's no need to close all apps to begin with. Android handles this by itself. Closing all apps only creates longer opening times when the app is reopened and also consumes more battery life. Google it.

some roms's have a include foreground task when clearing all, if you have that option, while sirius is open click the recents button and then clear and it shouldn't close.
I'm using cm 12.1 nighties on a nexus 6. When I want to clear all through the recents it closes Sirius xm I'm trying to find a way to exclude Sirius so I don't have to restart the app every time i want to clear all.

p9 keep closing all apps also after nougat update, how disable auto/force closing?

ive already disabled battery authorization and autoclosing for any app but also after nougat update this phone keep closing apps that should stay in background and never close with other phones, what can i do to disable auto closing of apps? theres any way or with this phones its impossible?
also the manufacturer smart features like answer when you put the phone close to ear or silent ringtone when you put te phone upsidedown are auto close and you need to restart the phone or disable re enable them from settings
My P9 does that too. I'd be happy if it'd let me select apps to leave alone, like Orbot, I2P, Servers Ultimate, Limbo x86 emulator etc.
Apart from that, it's a great phone (bought it after my Galaxy S5 Amoled screen crapped out when cold, worked fine warmed up again! Looks like Huawei are going to be offering LCD screens on most of their phones.
Just found it after first attempt at posting reply, it's in: Phone Manager then Protected Apps, you can select them individually, or all together.
On an unrelated point, I read that that the backup utility even backs up app data, also their phone clone app migrates apps to a Huawei phone, even app data if the old one was a Huawei too. Have you tried any of that, does it work?
Mine too, how come nobody else noticed that. Would like to have a fix for that. 3Gb RAM should be more then enough, cmon..
The most annoying is that it closes music apps as soon as you shut the display but if you promptly switch it back on and put music playing and shut again it will stay.
Really weird. And It doesn't help if you put the app to stay in settings and put a lock on an app in running app drawer, it closes it anyways.
I don't have such problem in mine, everything works fine
I had the same problem and I have found out that custom launcher is causing app reload. I was using nova launcher and tried few others, and now I am back to Huawei stock launcher and it's good.
I had the problem that it is not closing the apps but whenever i come back to some app it starts's reloading the content from start.

How can I make it so that my android will stop auto closing certain applications?

I am using a Moto G6 Play (Boost Mobile Variant) and I run a few apps like discord, snapchat, and messenger. Sometimes I'll notice I haven't received a notification in a while, then open the app to see that it's been closed automatically some how. I read around and I think it has something to do with the memory, so it's automatically closed? Is there any way to prevent certain apps from being closed automatically whatsoever? Thank you

Try turning off battery optimization for those apps.
