-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS-
- Take a nandroid backup
- Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset (full wipe only on the first rom flash, when you need to flash a rom update just dirty flash or wipe just the system partition)
- Flash in this order: firmware-->rom-->gapp-->magisk (no need to flash the firmware every time you update the rom , just make sure to keep your fw updated when new version will released)
- Reboot.

the only minor bug is the notification led not blinking... it's a really minor bug and from my point of view, I can survive without blink.
my compliment for the stable and perfect rom.
Will be trying this out later tonight, will post any bugs I find. Any chances of seeing the Mi Max 2 with ResurrectionRemix Oreo (v6.0) or a official build ETA if you are working with the RR community?

Firmware refers to the applications and operating system that control how a Smartphone operates. It is called firmware rather than software to highlight that it is very closely tied to the particular hardware components of a device.
You need the latest one. So it's on you to understand if you have the latest or not. Op recommends instaling the latest Firmware from Miui to ensure a bug-free experience.

Installed and tried. ROM is sooo smooth, seriously, better than LP. Xposed is working (so i am waiting for fully working rom ). And yes, there is a problem with network switcher. It stays at LTE, and can't be changed to any another mode (2G/3G) BUT on selected LTE is only showing EDGE signal when i have HSDPA signal where i live.
Is this rom working with multirom? I can't check because I'm not in home. BTW. Great job and thumbs up.

The reason as to why your ROM is "super smooth and fast" is because it's just an ALPHA, and you had even installed a PICO gapps package - that's NOTHING for a device with 16GB storage. Basically, all CMs (I've been a fan of CyanogenMod since CM7) are meant to be fast, unique and smooth, but you can't really say that a CM ROM with only the most basic functions can be slow and bad. Especially on a powerful phone like ours.
And one more thing I'd like to add to those who are unexperienced - because you'll all lose DRM keys when you flash a non-stock ROM (which means awful camera quality at night and weird noise on photos), don't flash this ROM. It's not the time to do it, because you'll spend a lot of time backing up and restoring data. Better wait for a BETA version, in my opinion

Olivier, do you can recomended any GAPPS for this ROM? I using on LP HDPI (small) package on (for MM no exist builds), OpenGapps has having on LP problems as... After first logging lost pair Google services with Android (Sync account is lost) but after restart system is back,... And etc problems.

I encountered strange behaviour while switching from my Bluetooth headset to the wired stock Sony headphones during music playback from Spotify. The sound disappeared, ui began to lag, especially volume adjustment, and eventually crashed, without anr message though.

First impression.

Finally wait is over now !!!
Flashed abhishek's build with VoLTE support.
Everything working flawlessly.
Here is some observations with NC:
- No color options for both sims (Only black color showing)
- Proximity sensor not working .
- No option for timeout of system animations.
- Root permission failed even after done apps & adb in developer options. ( I tried ES, FX & Solid exploer but all gives same error)

Just like the lite and pro version. In legacy/lite mode fonts, boot animation, sounds, etc will not support theming.

I have no idea how well it will play with the other varients. I use block based install so it installs quicker and that doesnt like some other devices. If RR works on yours it doesnt necessarily mean that mine would. The install would fail.
Does this also work on S7 Flat? I got here bcoz more ROMsare here and they also support the Flat (G930F)
Absolutly perfect AOSP rom for me! Everything is working fine and i like the features.

No sorry it doesn't. It has a different kernel. Won't install and won't boot on the flat

Aicp rom is more smoother than omni
Omni little laggy.
updater process ended with ERROR 7, i try to install on helium

I flashed it just now in my Hydrogen
Double tap to wake doesn't work.VoLTE, either.
Opengapps 11.8 Pico keeps stopping.

After several reboot, i didnt find lag. Dunno, still observe.

Google camera works for me, also camcorder (version 5.1.014).
FLashed in helium and flash patch. But core 6 and 7 doesnt work.
In magisk manager, i worked all cores.
And in default, double tap doesnt work. Again in kernel auditor i enabled this.
Stock camera works.

Oh patch doesn't work let me check that ! Right helium's tap node is different . Since I built on H2 device tree that'll be a problem in helium. Thanks for testing

ya dt2w isnt working . opengapps aroma works without any bugs ! probaby a problem with new version , no problems with the rom itself

personally liked omni more since aicp/laos is still fixing stuff, for ex cant access button backlight, battery light settings in aicp
whereas they work here

Wil provide a zip for helium . Though name Wil be hydrogen, cores should be fixed
@Rohan purohit, As I remember you said you were the one who has fixed VoLTE for Nougat in custom ROMs, hope to see the same magic for Oreo...
Nucleo 6 and 7 stopped and the camera does not work, the rest seems to work very well on Helium.
Out the bugs already known
