hi, i got note 8 SM-N9500 from hk. now i'm not getting the option to choose the the type of network. I mean 4G/3G/2G. there is only 2G/3G. again I'm not being able to active VOLTE . plz help me out..?? I'm new so plz tell me in details.

Sir please suggest i have SM-N9500 note 8 i was using VoLte by IMS setting in Android 7.1.1 but as i update Oreo 8.1 IMS setting is not opening via Shortcut Master or Activities launcher software so that i can Enable VOLTe and use jio Sim in india as it is Volte support only
Please suggest i search on net but no used

What! N9500 got 8.1???
Shortcut Master still works in Oreo to open IMS settings but it requires root now. I don't know of another way other than enabling VoLTE by CSC.

Not sure exactly, process for rooting N9500 is different than Exynos which is what I have. There are a couple threads showing how. Search Note 8 forum for N9500 root or N9500 TWRP & they'll come up.

You need to have B182/B183 firmware and newer which has this feature. Also, your mobile provider has to support it.
I had trouble finding it too, if you open Settings and type "wifi", down under the "wireless & networks" category WiFi calling will be there if your device has it.

No way to enable VolTE yet for tgy n9500 any custom rom.. This is known oreo 8.0 n9500 rom issue... The only option is to try TEKHD v2.0 rom for VoLTE enable.

NONROOT option Answer is there ISN'T any USA firmwares for N950F. (N950F is Exynos soc and N950U/U1/W are snapdragon soc so not possible).
Root options is Yes you'll just need to flash the csc detonator package that's in xda forums. (But still can't flash the snapdragon firmwares, not compatible).

Try this out if you can get NSG to work then please let know and if you could give a full tutorial I was able to use Qpst but not NSG

I really really need help!
I have one S21 Ultra 5G bought from Spain and I am Portuguese. The CSC region code of my phone is ATL, from Vodafone Spain.
Everytime I power up my phone It installs parasite APPS like "Mi Vodafone" "Vodafone TV" and "Dreamlab".
I fashed several time with Odin. I tried the default spanish ROM, "PHE". I tried the portuguese one as well, "TPH". It flashes sucessfully but when the phone power up it's always in spanish as default and install those apps automatically.
The software build changes everytime I flash a new ROM, but when I go to Software Information, in Service Provider Software Version it always says "ATL" (Vodafone Spain).
I really have to debrand this.
Can anyone help?

This is not working i have too S21 Ultra 5G Android 11 UI 3.1
tried with Google Phone (Dialer) also did not work.
Is Odin only way now ? flashing the INU (india) version of frimware ? will my data be erased after?
