Hello, i am using Cosmic rom on my Zuk Z2 Pro and i have some queations:
1. How to get rid of the search bar? I cannot manage in homepage settings.
2. Camera settings are just a few. Almost no settings at all. Will this be more in the future? Like camera sound off?

After the 4.3 update, the transparency for the navbar etc has been lost. I've checked a thread on this issue for the xperia z but I haven't found a solid answer to this problem.
What do I need to do? Stock 4.3 is disgustingly ugly in my opinion
Nothing.. Sony has removed, deleted, turned off the option for third party apps to use the transparancy of the notificationbar and softkeys.

Stock-based 4.3 is still better and more solid for me, I tried other custom Roms like CM and they are still buggy atm(hope they improve in time). They have low volume sound, random freezes, nav bar laggy, etc.
I'm particularly using this stock-based ROM -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2704312
And btw, my nova launcher has transparent status bar and nav bar on that stock-based ROM. Give it a try.
Tapatalked from my Xperia SP
Looks like Sony has unfortunately not packed the former "Extras" / "Quick Toggle" widget(s) into the Z3C. Found them quite useful at times and kind of miss them now. Anyone with an idea to get them back (maybe from the Z1C which is running 4.4.4 as well)?
Would you be able to get them back with Xposed gravity box when we get root?
Isn't it possible to just get the widget's apk from that system folder where all of the apk's from the built-in apps are? I've done it for a few apps before, without being rooted.
Here is the installer for the official Sony quick-toggle widgets from my Xperia Acro S
Tested on my Xperia Z2 tablet, only the backlight toggle doesn't seem to work.

Thanks for that! Will give it a try later on.
Someone with a Z1C or Z2 in this forum to have a newer version to post here (Acro S seems a little old maybe ) ?

Well the z2 tablet doesn't come with such widgets so I'm pretty sure it's the same with the z2. They probably removed those toggle widgets since the introduction of the swipe-down quick toggles.

Think I had seen them on a Z1C (running 4.4.4) as well as on the Z2 (running 4.4.2) still available. Guess these were only removed on the Z3 series along that new functionality of being able to drag/drop quick-settings icons in the settings bar.
Just tested "Power Toggles" on my Z3C and found that App to be a very good candidate to replace the original Sony toggle widget. If enabled, it even gives back the toggles in the notification bar (without having to tap on Settings or swiping to the left). Very nice!

Thanks a billion, buddy!!!
I only hope this will work for Lollipop and Marshmallow, too.
I use "Power Toggles" much better than the stock toggles with many options.
...you can also try this toogles, works on latest 5.1, no root needed :
You Will find it at apkmirror.com / Sony apps
Hi devs.
Does it have way to make my PA look like z3's kk. I like Sony's interface, but 4.3 is slowly for my. Thank's and srry for my bad english
When im on KK roms with theme engine support, I use the Xperia Z2 theme by thomasffca and also use the Z2 keyboard, I feel this is enough to make it feel like Sony UI still but have all KK features, try out those apps I mentioned and see what you think?
Edit: On CrystalPA 8.50, there is a minor bug on hover notifications, its got no background when displaying the notification while using the Z2 theme.
I have also installed the Xperia font with ROM Toolbox and that has also made the phone feel more like the Sony UI we know and love.
Also, use digital xperia clock widget from play store and use that on your lockscreen and homescreen to keep the clock looking Xperia.
The thing I love most about this SP is the LED bar, especially how it lights up on the beat of the music playing and I do not want to lose this feature.
I want to update my ROM (currently using eXistenZ) to a 4.4 android version, cm11. I have done this before and the LED bar didn't go with the beat anymore (of course it wouldn't because I wasn't using Walkman), now I have found some Z2 ported Xperia apps, which includes Walkman and Albums, my question is: Will the LED bar fully work with this ported apps? I am afraid to lose the cool effect while playing music etc.
thanks in advance!
Hi all,
Is it possible to get some of the other features of moto devices running 7.1.1. For example on the new second generation line up of the moto Zs, the moto e4 and the moto g5 plus have this unique icon pack. The icons are different for the settings, dialer, camera and moto app. Some of the apps automatically have rounded icons and the navbar has an animation when you click on the home button(it's not filed in tho). Is it possible to port the icon pack and pixel home button animation to the moto g5 plus as a zip which you can flash through twrp. Thanks!
For those of you who are confused about what I'm talking about here's the difference. The right one is the moto z2. It has a custom dialer, camera and moto app logo. It also has stock pixel like circular icons. The moto g5 plus on the left has boring old stock Android icons. Also the moto z2's home button has a small black ring around it which gives you the pixel animation when you click on the home button.
Edit: Apparently I must've mistaken the z2's launcher with some other launcher and reported accordingly that some of the icons have changed. I just reinstalled the launcher and nothing has changed except the blur in the app drawer background
Can you send me the link for that launcher.

camera app icon now changed bcoz camera app got an update
My bad I didn't notice. I was using a custom icon pack. The FM radio, camera and file manager app did get an update to the new icons. Is there a way to update the dialer icon and get the pixel nav bar.
I'm pretty sure that it has something to do with Android 7.1.

+1 for Pixel nav-bar
u can download pixelnav bar and i think dailer icon will change after we get oreo?
True?. The moto g5 plus has really agressive ram management so the pixel nav bar only works half of the time.
