Since the summer the phone will receive calls on 3G mode, but not on LTE since this summer.
This happens in NYC but on LTE works in Washington. Someone said that they have probably upgraded t-mobile towers in NYC to support VoLTE so that is the reason on the international version of this phone.
What are my options? Switching to Cricket or other at&t based provider? Flashing custom ROM or something else? What would you do?

Has anyone been able to connect to Tmobile's USA 3G network in Dallas TX? Anywhere else in the US? Any settings need to be changed?

Search???? But it is some much better for the community to ask the question before searching.
Please close thread.
Before you start flaming, I suggest you read the question. Since you can search, I assume you can read...
The original question was about this service in Dallas TX, which according to multiple sources, the service was just launched on August 27.
Most posts available on Tmobile's 3G state the service is on the 1700 MHz (which the kaiser is not capable). However there are a few people that have stated it might also be in the 2100MHz band.
It is also possible that the Kaise is capable to hook to the 1700MHz band but not enabled by the radio rom. Take the Diamond for example, it was not supposed to support the 850MHz band...
Since Dallas service just started, it is possible 2100MHz is available.
Has anyone been able to prove Tmobile's 3G service is up an running IN DALLAS?
I stand corrected, kind sir. I jumped to a conclusion and was ignorant of the facts related to your specific part of the world. I am sorry.
Did you call TMobile customer service and ask the question? So none of the search results gave you any help. I guess wait and see if you get a reply. Good luck.

I just got 3G here in little old York, Pa. I guess I don't understand your question?
I think what he wants to know if 3g data will work with an at&T branded tilt on tmobile U.S. and if so I would like to know how it compares to the edge network they were using
i think T-Mobile uses 1700/2100 and one band is for uplink and the other is for downlink.
unlike AT&T or Rogers who can use 850 and 1900 independantly for uplink or downlink.
first of all, tmobile sim cards are not 3G compatbile, therefore even the correct settings probably wont pick up any 3G signal...keep in mind that tmobile never updated simcards since its voicestream transition...i remember when AT&T went 3G, they had to issue 3G enabled sim cards....
And my Tilt has a 3G SIM but it's an ATT SIM.
you cant get on tmobiles network with an att sim
Ive just picked up an Samsung Ativ S which is 3.5G (H+) here in the UK (4G Ativ S didnt come to UK only US) and my contract runs for another 22 months, but with all the major carriers talking about 4G LTE and that 3G will be switched off soon.
is that correct or are these sales people trying to scare monger people into spending more money on a 4GLTE contract, which in the UK.. 4G phones are about £50-£100 more than their 3G H+ versions.
Will we see H+ in the UK for a few years yet.
Thanks
First of all, the USA didn't get any ATIV S models at all. I had to import my SGH-T899M from Canada. It sounds like you got the other model.
Second, wether any given mobile operator is turning off a certain radio mode or not is - surprise, shock, mind-blowing revelation - up to that operator! If you want to know what networks will still support HSPA+ in the coming months, why don't you ask *them*? We don't even know what operator you're on now!
Third, the odds of them turning off HSPA/HSPA+ are very slim. There are still an awful lot of phones out there that don't support LTE. I'd more likely believe them turning off 2G/EDGE and re-farming that to LTE.
Title says it all, is it possible now that we have S-off?
I'm not sure what difference there is except for cid
I personally think it would be better to make it into an international version for timely updates.... I've been wanting to do this as well...

I don't live in the refarmed area so I only get edge, I can travel a mile and get HSPA+ though but I want something that is consistent. Not just random 4G in one corner of my house and Edge everywhere else

I do believe Att version is the same as international as far as radio goes. I think tmo radio is only capable of picking up all the tmo 4g.... Does your area have lte?

Nope, when T-Mobile rolled it out they skipped Jacksonville Florida
All one versions have the same hadware! It's just a matter of enabling/disabling a certain radio in the device
Sent from the one and only HTC One
AT&T version does not support 3G AWS network which TMO does. LTE support is identical.

That's what I thought I read elsewhere
what he said above. TMO versions can pick up 3G AWS since most of their network is on that band. ATT doesnt use that band only 1900 for 3G, but since TMO has only started refarming old 2G 1900mhz signal to 3G signal only certain places will recieve 3G signal for TMO on the ATT HTC one.
So far i havent heard of anyone breaking into the radio portions and adjusting the bands. i think people are still a bit sketchy on whether that will work or not. its a pretty big gamble.
your best option is maybe find someone who has the TMO version and wants an international version. and trade?
I have the AT&T One. T-Mobile was sold out and I wanted it the day it was released so I just bought the AT&T One at Best Buy. I have AT&T LTE but I was wanting to use T-Mobile because I have unlimited on that line. I never get 3G though, only HSPA which is weird, or maybe not idk
My friend bought a T-Mobile Note 4 a couple months ago from Craigslist. He wanted me to unlock it via an unlock code because he was on At&t. While I was on the phone, I noticed the LTE sticks!! (Whereas when someone calls you, your phone data signal switches to 3G/HSPA+/4G. I even speedtest to see if I was getting the same amount of speed and ping, and sure is it did. Has T-Mobile finally have spectrums to support LTE while on the phone? I live at Fort Lauderdale, Florida if this matters. When I gave my friend back his phone, I asked if his LTE sticks while on the phone and he said no it dropped to 4G.
I live in Fort Lauderdale and what you got here is volte. When you have lte during a call that means you are using volte.
I seen where a few one couldn't get lte which is a bit important to me. Can anyone shed some light?
Get the US version from OnePlus and it will get every lte band for ATT. Get it from someplace else and you might get the Chinese or European version and be stuck with 3G.
Either people don't have LTE coverage in their area, or bought the wrong phone model.
I run T-Mobile and AT&T. Hopefully these screenshots are enough proof, and people will stop saying that this phone isn't compatible with AT&T's LTE.
You need the A3000 model and you'll be fine (GSM model)
I bought the US model direct from OnePlus, and no issues at all getting LTE on AT&T.
