I have just updated my S8+ to Oreo, and I see that there are a whole set of new clocks available for the AOD and the Lock Screen.
However, while most of the analogue clock faces have a sweep seconds hand, none of the digital clock faces includes the seconds (only hour and minutes).
Is there any way to get a digital clock with seconds on the AOD?

Hey all. I'm looking for a digital watch face that displays seconds in the same way that it shows hours and minutes. I need it to just show the changing number, not some fancy animated circle or the like. Any suggestions? It doesn't seem like what I'm looking for exists yet. Thanks.
I have been using this one so far as it's not too bad...

I remember about a week ago, the lockscreen would never be dimmed and the lockscreen picture would be in its full context.
Recently, my lockscreen picture is always dim and the clock is in its full brightness. I looked around in settings and I don't think I ticked an option. Anyone?
The Google Home Hub is interesting..
At night it has a clock that you cannot even set in ambient mode which is crazy! I like the night clock better than the digital clock.
Aside from that, there is a view that shows the time, date, temp, weather and either agenda or commute. I wish I could default to this screen. Does anyone know if this is actually generated on the device or is this a URL based screen I could cast to a Chromecast?
Would also be awesome if you could "hub" an old tablet.
Thanks!
Always on Display (Analog Clock & Date, Battery Level) with Battery Saver:Extended
Am trying to have the "Always on Display: Analog Clock" show when using Battery Saver:Extended
Here's what I tried so far
1. Adaptive Battery is ON
2. Power Saving Exclusions has these three(3) as ON
2a. Always-on display image (it is just a black background with Analog Clock)
2b. Always-on display provider
2c. Always-on display settings
When I turn on BS:Extended, the screen goes blank despite the above exclusions - what am I missing?
Coming from a samsung mobile, i was just wondering if there is any way to get notifications like on the samsung mobiles on the AOD screen, instead of the just red tintet clock, and the 2 analogue clocks?
Bump
Go back to Samsung. This phone has no dev work. We will never have a proper aod.
+1, came from Samsung and I miss the options it had for AOD, would also be cool if we have more digital clocks AOD options instead of the red lines garbage we have now
Bump
Have you tried any of the AOD apps in the Play store? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.newgen.alwayson&hl=en_GB

Yes, it's very good and all but the problem with it is that it takes a lot of battery in a very short amount of time, as the screen is "on" all the time in the battery consumption settings.
