So my work uses the app "When I Work" to post my schedule. This allows you to also import it to Google Calendar...I added this on desktop sometime back and always just syncs. I can view it in the Google Calendar app but Google Assistant (on Pixel and Google Home) both don't see it. They'll tell me I have nothing on my calendar. Anyway to fix this?

Has anyone tried syncing with their Google Apps account?
I get all my contacts and email (Gmaill app) properly, however, I only get the "main" / default calendar in my Calendar app. Normal Google.com (xxx at gmail dot com, accessed through calendar.google.com) calendars work fine.
For example in my Google.com account, I have:
- Friends
- Gym
- Work
All these appear (in addition to the default xxx at gmail dot com calendar) in my Calendar app under Settings->Calendars and are labelled w/ xxx at gmail dot com. However, in my Google apps account (xxx at mydomain dot com, accessed through calendar dot mydomain dot com) I have:
- Work
- Thesis
- Other Academics
I don't have any of these listed in the Calendar app, even after syncing countless times. I only have one calendar from the domain: the default xxx at mydomain dot com.
Syncing with this calendar works fine and it sends updates both ways, however I can't see my other calendars being listed.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
Actually I also have the same problem. It seems like google confuses between the personal google account and the google apps user account. For example. I cant access my subscriptions using gogle reader because all my rss subscriptions are in my personal google account and i dont know how to switcj between the two.
When I logged into the domain admin for my Google Apps account, it seems Google is opening up Google Apps accounts for access to most of the rest of their services, however I didn't see Android in there.
I wanted to try out whether setting up my first account (factory reset, etc) using the Google Apps account would fix it but I didn't want to wipe out everything I have right now.
Bump.
Anyone?
I finally had the chance to try out and set up the Google Apps account as my primary account since I did a full wipe + factory reset + flash on my tab today, to no avail.
Still a Google Apps account only shows 1 calendar.
Strange... I've set up my private and apps accounts and everything works great for me...
My private gmail account has several calendars, as does the apps account, and everything works fine, I can see all the events from all the chosen calendars...
I used the Accounts & sync settings to setup the accounts.
Well that's weird, maybe there's something wrong with my Google Apps configuration, I'll check with another account. But then again I've tried setting all the possible sharing and privacy settings appropriately just to test but nay.
I also used the Accounts and Sync settings to set up the account.
Okay, I can confirm there is something wrong with my Galaxy Tab built-in Calendar App.
For the sake of testing I downloaded several different Calendar apps from the Market and all of them can see the Calendars I have from my Google Apps account.
There was this app called Business Calendar that showed me the actual calendar IDs of each calendar and I can confirm they match the ones listed in my Google Apps account.
The moment I check it and add it to the list of Calendars displayed by Business Calendar, and I switch to the Calendar app that came on the Tab, the Calendars were listed in Menu->Settings->Calendars and turning them on worked properly.
I'm guessing there's something wrong with the built-in Calendar app? Maybe some issue with Calendar Storage or something. Everything works now but it sucks that I have to launch Business Calendar, sync, and enable it from there before seeing it in the built-in Calendar app.
Again, anyone have this issue?
I have the exact same problem. I did as you did, installed Business Calendars and it showed my 3 Google calendars all OK. They then showed up in the default calendar program. Canadian tab bought in Calgary.
had a similar problem with several of my google calendars showing up as being synced but no data from the calendar was being synced. I tried messing with pushing the calendar storage from my vibrant to my tab and it got stuck in a force close loop. I also tried to delete all the calendar entries which subsequently deleted all my future google calendar entires. After reimporting from a backup I made before I deleted it showed up on my tab.
Yeah, me 2, and some one suggested to add these two services, which are
GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk and,
GoogleServicesFramework
has anyone tried this? Does this work?

I have searched for a solution for syncing my various calendars on my Google account and I have not found a solution yet.
Currently I can sync my main Google calendar, Contact's birthdays and US Holidays but not my Dallas Mavericks calendar. I don't know how it misses it. Is there a limit on how many calendars that can be synced on one Google account?

There is no limit.
Go into the default Calendar application... Menu > Settings > Calendars (is the first option, under View Settings). If it's not there, then you most likely do not have access to the calendar on the account that you're logged in to on your phone.
I tried that.

Actually I have done this. I can see my basic Google calendar as well as "#[email protected]" and "en.usa#[email protected]" all of which i have selected on the web-based Google calendar.
I just can't find out how to get the Google calendars I have selected on the web to show up in my Android calendar.
Hi,
I have a problem with the default app calendar, it don't syncing with google calendar, i go to settings and i tried to sync but however it don't syncing, when i reboot the smarthphone it go the first time and stop. Then what can do ?
Ps:
Sorry for my bad english.
Do you have your Google account added to the phone? : "settings - accounts"
In the calendar app, verify under "settings - calendars to display - calendars to sync" if all the calendars are checked
If all else fails: try an alternative app from the Playstore: Today, Google Calendar and Digical are good alternatives
By default the event is stored in phone.
When adding something, select GOOGLE account.
In google account, the calendar is checked, but it don't sync always, i need to reboot and after it syncing one time and stop, or it syncing sometimes by itself.
I have my personal Google account which I use in my phone, and all my devices.
I also have a work Gsuite account and it's the calendar that I use most. I can access it on my phone.
Is there a way to tell Google home to use that calendar even though I'm connected with my main Google account?

Using Google home app on your phone, menu bar at top left, use more settings, select Calendar at the bottom, and you can add additional calendars you have setup.
You can change the default calendar, you want to use to create new events.

Nope. That shows any calendars you've created under your default account only. If you've added a second Gmail/Gsuite account on your phone it still doesn't show up as an available calendar in Home.

I'm curious about this too! About a month ago, I got an email from Google saying I'd be able to add other calendars to Home. I STILL do not see this option. I've sent feedback about it, but, of course Google never responds to anything. Anyone have this option yet? I've seen a few articles where the tester already saw this weeks ago... It does me NO good to hear my Gmail calendar in the morning. I want to hear my work's.
Greetings all,
I have an unlocked Note 9 (Model #SM-N960U1) I bought directly from Samsung that I use on the T-mobile network. I keep my schedules using Samsung's calendar app. When I attempt to add a location to my schedules more often than not the location can't be found. Apparently, my unlocked Note 9 is using "Foursquare" as Samsung's calendar maps search engine. Is there a way to remove Foursquare from my device, or at the very least select Google maps as the default for Samsung's calendar app?
You could always disable the app through adb commands
Clear Search
I haven't figured out how to get rid of "power by Foursquare" in the Samsung Calendar and make it go back to using Google Maps, but I did find a work around:
X out of the text in the SEARCH field
Select your current location from the list of pre-populated choices
It will let you switch from "Keyword" to "Address"
Then you can search for the address you really want
You should then be able to click DONE from the results
I prefer the Samsung Calendar widget since it has Transparency as an option but I guess I'll have to find a 3rd party widget that opens Google Calendar instead.
