[ROM] [4.1.2] [DISCUSSION] Unofficial official MIUI V5

Unofficial MIUI JB has been released for our phones in BETA.

If you select English initially in the set up I reckon about 95% is english, but the chinese is pretty self explanatory.
Please keep discussion here unless they decide to make a thread here officially. Until then, this is the unofficial thread Its not in development section because I didn't develop it

Bugs: keyboard doesn't work for me
Solution: put a 3rd party keyboard on your sdcard and install it, or find one in the play store without typing

Not sure, I can't do anything without the keyboard haha
Okay I just installed a 3rd party keyboard, always keep one on your sdcard

Flashed it, it looks Slick and Sexy. Yes keyboard issue is there. exploring it more

Update
After flashing:
Miui V5 ROM
Gapps for 4.2.1 from goo.im
Then supersu 1.0.5 (because the Miui one is confusing imo)
All is good then from the play store I downloaded TouchPal keyboard
Now no problems as far as I can tell

This is what works for me

I use superSU because I know how it works I also removed like 10 apps from /system/app that I didn't like

use chrome, and it should be saved in downloads folder.

Like all the apps I have never heard of before
I can't find a way to change camera
But the app is awesome

yes it does

So far, the ROM is very smooth, but some cases it lags. The ROM also isn't fully English (camera for example) and there is no lock-screen for some reason. that's all i have discovered so far.

You could, if it was 4.2
But its 4.1.2 so use the ones in the op otherwise you might get force closes

[MOTO CAM][6.0.86.7] Latest Moto Camera For Custom ROMs

I've searched for Moto camera flashable zip everywhere while I was using custom rom and I had got. But now new update came for Moto cam so just wanted to upload. Not tested. Please test and comment. And this is my first post. Hit thanks if found helpful.
Steps:-
1. Download the given file
2. Flash it with TWRP OR Any other Recovery
3. Enjoy

I think it will work on nougat based custom roms don't know about Oreo based ones

The moto camera app on the play store works for me, and has all features.

Stability improvements and bug fixes only

im non moto user. i flashed this cam and it successfully works. but i cant see professional mode in camera.

Then re open the camera app clear from recent first to apply this settings
U can use potrait mode with this settings for front camera

bro my gcam is working and back portrait is also working...but the front portrait is not working...after seeing this post i have downloaded the version you suggested

Mine work fine with my settings you should try to clear app data of gcam and try again my settings dont use front flash in light condition

Bro did you realy use gcam app from mine its hould be iso bar in the left screen like this check pics slide it to 625-3200 dont use auto it will be errors,force stop your app first

Uninstal first your gcam then install mine dont install over old gcam
Im using cosmic os with that settings and all goes fine

My Emoji Maker from S9 APK now Available / Compatibility issues

The new Animated Emoji maker from S9 was released on APKMIRROR Over here.
It doesn't get installed as of now, Has anyone found a workaround?

I'm assuming you need the camera app from the S9 for it to work?

long story in short you need oreo to get that working..

I've installed it, but how to use it? It has no icon to open, only 2 activities: AuthoringActivity and AvatarNativeActivity. Both when run shows toast "rejected permissons"

U need to mod it's certificate and package name . I downloading this app . I have poor internet so it's gona take me a while but if u wanna do it uself download "zipsigner" and "apk editor pro" . Free ve region don't support changing package name . I made ( by doing this ) possible to instal plenty of apps which don't work normal way

Emoji maker it's just working in background. It's useless without s9 cam . I downloaded s9 cam and installed it . Still it doesn't work :/

U can easy change it . It's the most simple thing ever to change sdk lvl xD . Download "apk editor pro" . Free version don't support it . After installing app will turn on but just force stop sec after . I managed to instal at emoji too . But at this point they are just Flashed. Nothing is working:/

And yes. It's rainbow six siege in background xD

Can theur be a ported s9 rom.i had a port note 8 rom on my sg8 when note 8 cane out.its so werid note 8 exynos hasnt gotten oreo.we always got firmware first than the usa models

Via package name or just in apps . If u can't see it in apps try via app that can uninstall other apps ( lucky patched etc ) or just go to pc and uninstall it via package name

Yes I can . I can mod skd so u will be able to instal it . App don't work by itself so there is no point of doing that . I managed to flash ar emoji but they don't work :/

Camera port for treble roms.

We all know that stock camera is better than custom rom camera so can someone port this device camera for treble roms

Google p20 camera for treble I have stock camera on my device flashed on twrp works fine

That's the link flash that worked for me on Dot rom (oreo) only works with treble roms I think

Nope still doesn't work so just have to take the picture and exit camera app then click gallery app but sure I don't mind doing that

Figured a temporary way to get your pictures.. when you take a picture and click on it then when screen goes black hit the recents button then click back into camera app your picture should pop up
