Hi,
is there any way to port the modern Tab S Launcher to Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4? I love the style of the S5 UI.
If anyone would like to have this Rom or Mod and would like to work on it please post here.

yes...find my thread...and get it from there
Hey Guys,
I had a quick question for you all.. So remember how when the Galaxy S5 was released and people were making modifications to their build.props, and the UI would change to the S5's Touchwiz UI? Well when the Note 4 gets released, do you think we'll have the option to try the build.prop modification again and see if it works?
Thanks!
I believe I read somewhere it will already be based on the S5 UI.
Is it possible to port the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 Touchwiz launcher to the Note 4? I love how you can put picture albums and Video preview on where the Briefings would be at on the Note. If there is a way, can anybody provide a link to it?

You could try your luck with this http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ort-tab-s-touchwiz-magazine-launcher-t2872055
Don't hunt me down if it doesn't work lol
Unfortunately, it is a major fail. I am assuming it is because of conflicting APKs. I do not know enough to make this work. So thank you for providing the link. It is unfortunate that it didn't work.
Can someone post a video of Infinity wallpaper animation in Note 9 (AOD, Lock screen, Home screen)? I love it in the S9. Can't find one for Note 9 online.
I was about to make this exact same thread. I've seen hundreds of note 9 hands on review vids on YouTube and none have infinity wallpapers like the note 8 .i find it hard to belive Sammy dropped the infinity style wallpapers as I love my note 8 wallpapers they look better than the s9
I guess the note 9 really don't have infinity wallpapers then
It doesn't have infinity wallpapers like every Samsung flagship has had since the S8, it honestly feels like the software is a visual downgrade compared to the S9. Normally the last Note released before a major hardware design change (Note 4 before the S6 and Note 7 before the S8) had a major software redesign incorporating design features from the upcoming Android version. Note 4 with KitKat had Lollipop recent apps view and lockscreen features, Note 7 with Marshmallow had Nougat notification style and management.
This time there are no features inspired by Android Pie, only visual downgrades from the S9. It seems like Samsung is saving everything they can including software and the underscreen fingerprint scanner for the S10 running Samsung Experience 10. Maybe the infinity wallpaper will make a comeback later too?
Well I hope they bring them back for the s10 and note 10.
I am about to get my hands on N9 demo, will check and update.
Edit : I have checked sources in dump ROM and seems it's been removed, though will check on device once I get .
Edit2 : Unfortunately..samsung have removed infinity wallpaper with animation. They are still calling infinity wallpaper but no more animation. Also AOD have no BG effects (at least for I have set 1-2 infinity)
Good thing is, I have checked source and still infinity is not completely removed so still on custom ROM there is hope to bring it back.
Who knows. We may get a software update before release that will see it's return.

I don't see any logic that Samsung first remove it and later re add it in update. I believe it's gone.

It would be nice to be able to put the note 8 infinity wallpaper on the note 9
Frustrated
I had a Note 8 and I loved the infinity wallpaper, which was a star field, but I got a problem with the pen and Samsung exchanged it for a Note 9 soo I can't complain but be grateful.
HOWEVER the infinity wallpaper is gone, I have this weird fluid colors, it is cool but not even closer to how cool was the moving star field.
Hope someone comes with a solution for this.

Hello. I am using Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (Eynos Version). Is there any ways to enable the force dark mode for all apps in the developer option. I have seen this in Pixel but couldn't find it on Note 9. Is it Pixel specific option??? Thanks in advance.
Not until N9 is upgraded to Android 10

Android 10 will have a dark mode global setting, but that will not "force" apps to have dark modes--app developers have to implement dark mode to follow the global setting. And Note9 is nowhere close to having Android 10.

Hex Installer gets nine reviews and all five stars. Is it really that good? It looks like it's in beta.

I have used hex installer but I think swift installer is better. It also supports more apps than hex installer. I have both.

That's ok. But in Android 10 under developer settings there is a option called over ride force dark which turns the apps into dark mode. I have seen this pixel as well as on OnePlus. Note 9 will definitely get Android 10. They have already started testing it. Yes it will take time. I'll wait for it.

Thanks, for the tip.
Unfortunately, it's not available for my Verizon branded, Snapdragon Note 9 on Oreo. :crying:
Apparently, it's only for Pied Samsungs.
