Icons bar (wifi, sound, gps...) not working properly after update Oreo - Huawei P10 Questions & Answers

Hi, i'm having problems since I upgraded to EMUI 8.
The notifications bar where are, the icons of wifi, gps, sound ... It unfolds completely. Before the update it was only the first row of icons and if you went back down again, then it was whole . I have already done a factory reset and a wipe cache and it is not solved.
Besides having the automatic brightness disabled, there are times when it changes automatically.
Does anyone know of a solution or does the same thing happen to you?
Thank you
P.S: I'm going to add an image of the bar that is completely displayed, in case I have not explained myself well.

Thanks for the response. Anyone more? I can't find any info to solve the problem.

try another theme ?
works nice for me too...

I'm experiencing the same issue.
EDIT: It's working properly. It only shows the first row of icons when there is a removable notification.

Yes, that is exactly what happens to me. But before the update to emui 8 it did not happen. I have also tried several different themes and nothing.

I think that's the default behavior of Oreo when there's no removable notification.

All this problems because you didn't made a full Wipe .. after the update. Trust me, I know you didn't!
1st problem: it's working properly after the full wipe. And depends of the speed you swipe. You'll see.
2nd problem: I had it too.. but I was in vacancy and I couldn't afford to reset the phone to factory deff. After reaching home and a Full wipe ... everything is back to normal.
P.S. In the next future, when a new update is available via OTA, try to press: Download latest full package. It will take a while but it's better to flash a full rom than just a patch.

I can assure you that I made a wipe cache and a factory reset, in fact, after reading it I did it again 2 times, and I still have the same problems.
I did it from the recovery menu. first the factory reset and then the wipe cache, today I did it the other way around, first the wipe cache and then the factory reset.
Can you tell me how I would have to do it to fix it just like you?

I did it now that I read you. When I'm on nougat, it's OK work fine, and the brightness too. But once I update to oreo, it's ****ed again.
I don't know what's wrong with my phone, anyways I appreciate your help.
Any other advice?
P. S. I tried to press "download the full package" but then it doesn't show any update. It only works with the "fast update" (I don't know if it's the right name, as English is not my native language)

I read here and also on local P10 forum that we were not the only one's who had this problem. But after a clean flash and full wipe problem was solved.

Ok, now I need HELP FOR REAL :(

My HTC dream G1 has been on the boot screen "T-Mobile. G1" for 30minutes! (counted).
What's wrong?? how do I fix it??
This are all the things I did to my phone:
Yesterday I had 4.0.1, and decided to upgrade to 4.1.99 because I was tired of it. I follow this instructions [exactly] http://www.simplehelp.net/2009/10/04/how-to-install-cyanogenmod-4-1-99-on-your-g1-android-phone/ , once I was done with that I played with my phone and decided to upgrade to 4.999 to get a few fixes and a bit more stability.
So I decided to upgrade to 4.1.999 by doing the exact same thing that is said here http://www.simplehelp.net/2009/10/06/how-to-update-cyanogenmod-from-4-1-99-to-4-1-999/
I did it and the phone was working a bit weird.. I decided to restart the phone by end+home... and now my phone wont boot anymore!!
It has been in the same black "T-mobile G1" screen for 30 minutes!!
What do I do??????????????????????
well reboot again my friend, can you get into recovery if so try a wipe
Pull the battery and try again
EDIT: sorry gridlock, didnt see you already responded lol
Is the wipe gonna delete everything I have???

How do I flash?
If you followed the instructions exactly, then I am assuming you performed a nandroid backup and so you always have that. I always create a new backup folder on my desktop as well. So, reboot into recovery, wipe and apply the update again...same way you did before hun
is your phone retarded because you did not wipe after you flashed, hhmmm that is a sad shame
Okay.. so please tell me what I have to do now that my phone doesnt work please
So I should boot in recovery mode, and click "wipe data/factory reset" ?
should I do that? what about my nandroid backup, will that be lost?
or tell me the instructions of something else i should do

Your phone should already be wiped because you should have wiped coming from your cyanogen stable to 4.1.99. The instructions about wiping are very clear from his instructions in his experimental thread. If you didn't wipe before you came over from 4.0.4 to 4.1.99, then that is your problem I suspect. IF you have a nandroid backup that you made before coming over from 4.0.4, then restore that, and then do the steps again following cyanogen's experimental thread instructions. (which include a wipe)
Good luck

Are you sure your phone is rooted sugar?
You should repartition your sd and start over with the experimental flashing

fairly certain that you either wait for an updated ROM or flash a stock. i cant remember the last time any my android devices were upgraded via standard OTA type methods.

actually null_20 is out now and very nice. if you just install it over your current setup there is a chance you could have issues. if you really want the best experience you should wipe everything then install. i always factory reset in TWRP then wipe cache and dalvik and then full reset again and then install new ROM but thats just me

2 Questions...when wiping everything did you loose all apps (including launchers like Nova or Apex)? Secondly, just curious if you are familiar with Kingo Root which I am trying to use on my Note 3? I happen to be updating both the phone and watch manually (since they were both rooted) and during my Note 3 updates I lost root. Now Kingo will not recognize the Note 3 at all, although the computer does so the drivers are still working. Any ideas?
Thanks.
P.S. - Nevermind. Also, just so you all know...Null_20 has a bug in Google Now that causes crashes sometimes as you boot up the Gear. The Null_21 rom has it now fixed.

Battery percentage showing 3800% after flashing 6.0.1/Root/LK

I just did a no-wipe flash of 6.0.1 and then rooted with NRT and flashed LK (I had it with 6.0 too) and now my battery percentage is messed up. Keeps fluctuating in the 3000s. Any ideas?

its a bug, ignore it. btw http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/help/battery-problem-6-0-1-factory-image-t3265899
It's a bug of 6.0.1... Wait for small OTA or 6.0.2
Is it a bug or just an issue with custom kernels? I expect the latter.

It's not a custom kernel - its a fresh factory image install, so stock kernel.
I'd say wait for Google to push an OTA out or another factory image.

cause, no idea. but i remember the M dev preview had the same issue. some were affected, some werent. id just give it a few run throughs, maybe itll fix itself?
Well, it's not the kernel, since I have the same issue with the stock kernel with 6.0.1 and LeanKernel.
This is just bad.. I can't see how long my battery will actually last

Yeah, I accessed mine by tapping the battery icon in quick settings.
Really odd for a bug like this to go unnoticed by Google.
No issues here on a clean install (including partition trims in TWRP) of 6.0.1.

That's strange. Wiping everything (including internal storage) and doing a partition trim in TWRP before flashing the image fixed it for me. Are you rooted? Custom kernel?

Ah I see, I was rooted beforehand but wiped everything for a clean slate.
So still stock recovery, stock kernel and no root.
Might have a go at TWRP partition trimming tomorrow when I've got some time to do it.
My battery indication shows 100%, did a clean install and no issues whatsover.

This is odd.
I did use NRT's 'Stock & Unroot' option.
It may have missed the kernel so I'll extract that and try flashing different parts of Android to see if I get any sense out of it or some sort of fix, or Google may figure it out before me (hopefully )

Hello,
Shouldnt a FULL UPDATE install "all" necessary like partitions for the system etc, i mean everything?

2. Some features are not function as before, like - Themes (can download but can't apply)
3. Factory reset now always goes as "lowlevel reset"
As my understanding this might be because when failed on debranding phone woke up asking decryption storage password (and shouldn't) then he did a wired wipe out before restart again and then started with the problems i said on top
I also know it affected system folders in any way because, for example, at locked screen when I press settings there are none "subscriptions" to choose.

Just i said i had the same problem when i debrand my L29C636 and that fix it for me.
flash all zip file with twrp , then reboot and force flash update.app with 3 button method, now everything is stock
I had the same problems when I flashed a 'full' ROM as well (B190, for reference). Had the same ugly icons you mentioned, and I had lost MagazineUnlock plus all stock themes.
In the end I found the themes, and it seems to have fixed both the icons and unlock.
Main issue now, is that each time it does a factory reset (when unlocking boatloader for instance), it fails and prompts me to run it again, which it then completes successfully. Not sure what I messed up on there, but it's just a minor annoyance whenever I have to flash an update now.

OK... thats odd... I formatted data and cleared all stuff as you mentioned but when first config appears, I select language as "Polish" and in next step i select region as "China" (its the only one to choose). Then phone reboots, boot up for a while and again reboots... Why is that?
Why create a post for this if I may ask? This is not really something you made yourself right?
