Hi all,
I'm from Thailand. I made SRK Tool for LG G2 and G3[TOOL] SRK Tool 2.1 [ROOT/UNBRICK/UTILITY/BACKUP]- 20150507 and now I'm a new user for Huawei forum. I'm planing to develop my SRK Tool for Huawei phone, and this is a first look

Hi,I'm change my oeminfo from p9 lite VNS-L21 C185 to L31C432 but,after factory reset ,my Build number change to C900B130,And now I'm trying to root my phone ,but this not work and give me this error :Command not allowed.But all of things that need for Drivers I'm installed,then whats wrong,how can I change my OEM back,or flash new ROM for this Build??

Is there any chance this will work for the honor 5c? As it is very similar to the p9 lite?
And if not will you be considering adding support for more Huawei/honor devices in your tool kit?

I already do the steps but my the pc only shows "detecting device" and then nothing happens.
I install all drivers included the suite of huawei, in devices in my pc show my phone as android phone, i dont know what can i do.
I'm using windows 7
Please somebody could help me.?

ive been struggling for 3 days now. I CANT ACCESS TWRP. please help
ive flashed mutliple versions of it, to no avail. it either gets into Erecovery or the 3 option screen
ive tried all key combination, everyone says vol up + power. (with the phone shut down). some said with cable plugged, others without. either way, IT DIDNT WORK.
i have no clue what to do anymore . i have L21C432_DS
when using ROOT , and boot to recovery .. it boots to erecovery
EDIT, ok the problem was the faulty TWRP. it only works with revolution one(which doesnt quite work) and the venus version, which is awesome and rooted

I've flashed on my a5f but system ui crash and phone crash.. and i decide to roll back use hades rom..

This rom also seems to have the alarm bug

i test already the rom in a500f variant i had issue on phone and other apps,sometimes force close and crashes..the hades kernel installed is for a500g variant but i run smootly..i hope release v2 with polish the whole rom..later i flash magisk to root and flash my variant kernel..cheers...

A : As The Settings Are Natively Imported From S9 And A8+ , The USB Debug Settings Are Inversed In Dev Menu For That Option So Basicly What You Need To Do Is Just Untick USB Debogging From The Devlopper Menu !
Q : Why KeyBoard Dont Show Suggestions ?

It won't, unless you do a clean flash, wipe dalvik, system, data and cache then flash the rom again

Fingerprint scanning stops at 80% then force closes.
If you can fix that I think this will be a good daily driver rom. For now I reverted back to my stock (7.0) setup from my TWRP backup.
Just found out that there is a fix posted on the telegram group. Gonna try and install this again later.

Me too! I do a clean flash with 5x wipe but still fingerprint stop scanning @ 80% and gps didn't work also.

Just share because as can see everyone asking for fingerprint fix . I download this rom yesterday and found this bugs . I use this rom for 1 hour and back to my own rom . So i cant make flashable zip to fix it . It look like no one can solve it , so i share with you all . It just easy step . To fix fingerprint . Just extract secsettings2.apk with zarchives . Then compress again but make sure you choose zip and in compression level choose no compression . After complete rename it again to SecSettings2.apk . Put it back to priv-app . Dont forget to set permission . If it work , please hit thanks

FP is not an issue anymore on this rom its been solved already..topic is in telegram group..it was not intended to flash the fix file via twrp,did you flash the fix file via twrp? Tsk tsk

Q: How to root it?
A: Grab Magisk from here.
Q: Splash screen gets more and more greenish when I try to boot. Is that normal?
A: Of course not. This means you're not on Marshmallow bootloader & Modem. Flash any MM stock ROM first before you flash this ROM.
Q: ROM booted but there is no gallery, clock etc. Why did you removed it?
A: I didn't, YOU debloated them in aroma installer. Reflash the ROM again without wiping data and this time don't debloat them.
Q: There is no CSC folder in /system. How to add CSC features?
A: This ROM is featured with OMC, a new multi CSC solution. Locate to /system/omc and add your features to customcsc.xml.
Q: My GPS does not find my location. Any fix?
A: Download GPS Test app from Google play, run it, go outside and wait 10 minutes.
Q: Do I have to clean flash when there is a new update?
A: No, flash it over a previous version is ok.
Q: XYZ app does not work/force closes and I want create a log to help you. How can I create a logcat?
A: I'm glad you'd like to help. Follow this xda tutorial or download any logcat app from Google Play.
Q: Why still no Oreo or Pie port?
A: Samsung won't update any MSM8916 device to Oreo/Pie anymore.
Q: Why I can't enable 4G in second SIM?
A: Galaxy MSM8916 modems don't support dual LTE.
Q: Do I have to flash Galaxy J2 2018 mods, recoveries etc. when I use this ROM?
A: NO! This ROM will not transform your Galaxy to an J2. Only flash mods, recoveries etc. meant for your device variant.

Pre-Nougat cam libs can not share its video buffers
across different processes, this causes video recording issue with Stock cam. This commit+related flags enabled is how they used to fix it in AOSPs, but since this isn't AOSPs and AOSP libs doesn't works on SE, only way to fix is to use cam libs from another msm8916 phone that got updated HAL1 (7.1.1) and same exact sensor (that's how we managed to fix it in J55 7.1.1 port, A55 have been a little tricky and @corsicanu needed to play around with libs, while there's no trace of a phone with 7.1.1 and same A35 sensors)

Just compare the ROM features at OP with that one from SEP 8.5 (A8) ROM and you'll see the main differences. I just can say, Lite has a much better performance than A8 ROM but A8 ROM have much more features than Lite.

Seems like there's no VoLTE and no VoWIFI. I can't find'em anywhere in quick settings nor in regular settings. They do show up for me in A8 port (sm a3fu).

Seems like CSC related. Check in setttings > about device > phone info if this ROM uses the correct CSC for you provider.

I finally installed this ROM and it's amazing! Great improvement compared to the stock one. One problem that I'm having is that I can't adjust vibration intensity for notifications/messages. No matter what I set the slider too, it seems like it's the lowest setting, barely noticeable vibration. Adjusting vibration for calls works fine. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hm, it seems restarting the phone helped. I will see if this happens again. Thank you again for this ROM!

Installed on A500W, using this twrp, everything i tested so far works, havent tested messaging yet but calling is fine. Camera haven't tested yet. Great to see that this phone now has split screen capabilities!

Everything works as expected. camera app crashes randomly though. Gps works after using gps test app and it takes about a minute after booting up to find cell towers but other than that this feels as smooth, if not smoother than stock and battery life is decent too. Might replace the faulty home button and get a new battery to switch from my a51 to this as my daily driver!

#2_If you install apps (hktweaks or spectrum), the performance profile gives black screen bug, so I recommend not using it.
# 3_We have discovered that the most stable TWRP is version 3.2.3 which is attached, and that the best form of wipes is the one attached in instructions, if the steps are followed, they will have a clean installation.
# 4_I recommend these, which are great for optimizing the system app (download here), they must unzip the zip, then they are installed manually.
# 5_ I leave some Zip-Extras, which have the function of deleting. One deletes the approot and root system 100%, leaving the rom as a Stock Foot. The other deletes all appBixby from the system.

#1_Si la ROM no les inicia, o se queda en bootlogo, la solución es aplicar Helio kernel (se los dejare debajo), con esto solucionaran el bug de bootlogo, una vez terminen de configurar, podran reinstalar Oxigen Kernel si desean.

#2_Si instalan apps (hktweaks o spectrum), el perfil performance, da bug de pantalla negra, por lo que recomiendo no usar el mismo.
#3_Hemos descubierto que el TWRP mas estable, es la version 3.2.3 la cual esta adjunta, y que la mejor forma de wipes, es la adjunta en instruciones, si se siguen los pasos, tendran una instalacion limpia.
#4_Les recomiendo estas , las cuales son buenisima para optimizar las app del sistema (descarga aqui), deben descomprimir el zip, luego se instalan de forma manual.
#5_Dejo unos Zip-Extras, los cuales tienen funcion de borrar. Uno Borra 100% las approot y el root-system, dejando la rom como un Stock Pie. El otro borra toda las appBixby del sistema.

This file is currently set to private.

Without spectrum app, i don't think i can play games any good as it helps to provide me with decent FPS...
Also, it seems the problem is with the Performance Profile only it should work right with other profiles

I have a question? How different is this from the Venom One UI? Does it have more bug-fixes? Is it more stable? What's the difference?
I'm currently using Venom but if this is better I will switch over. Customizing phone takes a lot of time after the installation so I don't want to go through it if there's not much benefit to installing this ROM instead of keeping Venom.

There is a problem with the phone call program. When I dial a number, the phone rings and I hear the answer from the one I called. Nothing is displayed. I can not stop the call and the device hangs. Please find a solution for this problem. My device is J7 Prime 2.
