Disable ALL vibration - Moto E4 Plus Questions & Answers

How can I disable all vibration without using silent mode? Mainly I would like to be able to use the moto fingerprint navigation without the vibrate. If I can make the navigation think it is in silent mode we can achieve this.

Root and flash the resurrection remix ROM. From there you can independently turn off the FP vibration. Almost worth it alone.

Not sure you can. I tried a few apps and don't think there was that option.

Install VibraFix. Uncheck enable vibrate. This should disable fingerprint haptic feedback.

omnirom with kitkat in our phone; battery and performance is great. i wish same things continues.
Camera app doesn't work. Brightness control is absent. Locking the device does not turn off the display (it merely causes the screen to go black, which consumes more power in TFT displays). Once these bugs are fixed, we will have a perfect ROM.
Great work though. All you kind developer's works means I can keep the same phone for two more years minimum.

Capacitive Buttons Backlight

Hi
I own a 920c and I tried 2 methods for turning off the Capacitive Buttons Backlight. 1. the app Galaxy Button light and 2. the adb method where u put a command in I'm sure u know what I'm talking about. Both work but every time I wake up my device the Capacitive Buttons still light up for a few milliseconds! this wasn't happening to me an my S6 edge. Does this happen to u aswell? It can't be light bleeding in from the screen since it's sAmoled and it doesn't even look like that it's for sure the Buttons them self's. Can someone else confirm this happening to them aswell? the only method I haven't tried is where u edit some seetings.db with sql editor for which I coulden't find the thread where it was described which file to edit....

No need to hash out all files, just hashout the buttons in the following file:
/system/usr/keylayout/synaptics_dsx_s2.kl
PS: the on-screen buttons doesn't go good with eUI notification.

How to disable full auto rotation?

anyone know how i can disable reverse landscape and reverse portrait in the build prop?
i am going crazy as i have apps that need to lock the rotation in landscape that do not work with MIUI for some reason. not even tasker will work and i have no idea why. i've been using this program for years and I've never had this problem. the only thing i can think of that is causing a problem is the fact that this is the only rom i've had with full all directions auto rotation.

I've used it for years on various devices, never had a problem w/it.
IDK if this will override the system settings (needs accessibility permissions,I'm guessing it'll work afterwards).

Hey, although you never mentioned your rom info, I presume non-miui, there would be an option like in the below screenshot from AOSIP tweaks » Advanced settings.
