TWRP Recovery for Samsung Galaxy ON7.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Download and install Odin,usb drivers.
2.Power off the device and boot into download mode by holding [VOLUME DOWN/HOME & POWER].
3.A Warning screen appears,now press volume up once and connect the phone to the PC.
4.Open Odin with admin rights and you should see the phone added at some ID COM: port if not then you have to download and install the appropriate drivers.
5.Now click on AP and select the downloaded recovery file.
6.Hit start and the flashing will be done in a few seconds and the device reboots.
7.Hold VOLUME UP+POWER+HOME buttons to boot into recovery.

NOTE : For some reasons twrp gets replaced back with the stock recovery if we left the device to reboot into system after flashing. To overcome this issue untick the Auto Reboot from the options in Odin and flash the recovery by following the above steps. Now right after flashing is done,power off the device and power it on by holding [ VOLUME UP+HOME+POWER] to enter into the recovery and 'swipe to allow modifications'.
Be careful while backing up and playing around with efs partition,you might loose your IMEI.!!

after i flashed it. the touch screen in TWRP is not working but work fine on normal boot.. any idea why ?

This is original samsung recovery image which is found in all stock roms. No new features, just pure recovery 3e.
Is useful if you want to restore back to original recovery from clockworkmod without flashing the entire stock rom.
It can be used to install samsung updates from stock rom (FOTA).
Also, it can be used in warranty restoring progress. Because clockworkmod is not an official recovery.

Yes you do need to flip it on. And never turn it off once you install anything with a custom tag.

Turn off your phone
Restart it in download mode by keeping volume down + home + power
Confirm the entry in the download mode with volume up
Plug your phone into your PC and run Odin (you should see the COM port in blue)
Click on AP and select the tar.md5 recovery file
Click on options and leave only "F. Reset Time"
Click Start
(Your device will not restart automatically this is voluntary because otherwise the original rom will erase TWRP.)
To restart it keep down volume down + home + power as soon as it goes off restart it on recovery by keeping it up volume up + home + power
When you boot for the first time on recovery, it will prompt you to change the language and avoid deleting the recovery.
Note: For this device it is necessary to have enabled OEM Unlock in:
Settings -> Developer Options -> OEM unlocking
Or you may encouter "BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK" on boot.

This is my first build of a custom recovery for any device --Im glad it was this one and i'm happy to share with you all.
Pulled a few all nighters, gave myself a few headaches and ran a few tests.
Still a WIP but the fact that I can get it to boot is a success for me

Mainly just the way it was built. Its my first recovery build ever so I probably didnt have the drivers in the right location
adb doesn't seem to work properly either. I just get "USB device not recognized"
where is the device tree?
