Doogee X5 pro problem - Doogee X5 Questions & Answers

Good morning,
I have been trying to get my Doogee x5 pro booting for the past 2 day , to no avail. I can get into recovery mode no problem, wipe cache, delete user details no problem. When i reboot, i get to the blue doogee logo and it freezes. I have tried to install the stock rom, a custom rom(on a sd card) through the recovery mode but i get a installation has been aborted message.
My pc wont pick up my phone (even though i have all the drivers installed, sdk manager etc..) I cant even use adb as that isnt finding my device through the command prompt. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards.

Hello Guys! . I've got an issue on my hands, and I'm not really sure how can I solve it. I installed a ROM, through TWRP recovery. After flashing, I tried to access the recovery, but the the phone started to bootloop, and sometimes it showed a greenish welcome screen. After a few bootloops, the phone started normally, entering the system. So, no recovery on it. Right now, after I tried to access the recovery a few times, the phone is blocked on bootloop . No access to files, no access to system, and no access to recovery also. Can you please advise what can I do furthermore?
Also, very important to mention is that the computer doesn;t seem to see the phone, I tried to another PC, the same thing. It says (in both computer cases) " USB device not recognised".
Is there any way to force somehow fastboot mode on the phone? ...
I really need some helping ideas, since I'm out....

Doogee x5 softly-bricked, not detected by pc

I'm new to this forum, just throwing that out, so if I don't specify something, please let me know.
So, I have a Doogee x5 (not my main phone, recently bought a new one, so this one is just for stuff) that I softly-bricked via the kingroot app, since I was trying out this app before using it on my main phone. Now, why would I do that? My main phone is doogee shoot 2 which has a very annoying bloatware that opens the browser randomly. I did a little bit of searching, and turns out it was a system app. So naturally, I searched how to get rid of it, and saw that there was only a single answer: rooting the device. Now, I'm not an expert with this, so I searched for basic and simple solutions. I decided to try the method on my side-phone first, and thank god I did that.
Now, the Doogee X5 is stuck in a boot-loop, it does boot in recovery mode, it won't update or flash new ROMs (via "install updates from SD card") since for some reason, the installation is always aborted, and I don't know what to do next....
Would be glad for any help!
Thanks in advance, Raph/

Nobody is aware of any solution?
Have you tried flashing Official ROM via SP FLASH TOOL
perhaps that should be successful
That requires (if you already know this then skip it):
- doogee X5 preloader drivers (and by that I mean MediaTek MT6580 preloader drivers, or something like MediaTek MT65xx preloader drivers)
- SP Flash tool
- PC with Windows, and USB cable to connect it
- Official Doogee X5 ROM
And also, you should have some instructions how to connect it when flashing. On my doogee device (not X5) was something like, Click download in SP Flash Tool + Power + Volume Up + connect it to pc

I've tried it, but the phone isn't detected by the PC, and I'm pretty sure I installed the preloader driver correctly...

This happened to me once (same device) , try flashing a stock rom in SPFLASHTOOL (that you're sure that works) while pressing volume up button (usually it takes more than 15 secs of pressing for device to get detected), don't stop pressing it, then it will enter to META mode, a MTK brick-fixing mode integrated in DOOGEE X5, just while you press that volume up button, device should come to life for long enough to flash a stock working rom to it, don't stop pressing while rom is fully flashed
sorry bad english
hope it helps

Hi mate..
Don't worry if your phone is stuck in a boot loop. Remove the battery, put it back again and connect your phone to PC with the SP tool loaded with TWRP in download(connect phone after clicking download button). This should install recovery on your phone. In case if this does not work, try other methods over the internet.
If any of the methods don't work, then download a stock ROM from needrom and flash it using SP flash tool. Note that this will erase the data stored in nvram (imei, mac, s/n). I assume that u have taken a backup before. Please do consider this as ur last step if anything does not work
Thanks and good luck...

Alcatel Idol 4 6055K problem with firmware

Hello,
I have a somewhat aged Idol 4 lying here.
This no longer boots or it hangs in the boot loop.
So I tried to install an update via a stock rom from the network via the recovery menu and ADB sideload and always got the error status 7. (Alcatel_Idol_4_6055K_01001_01002_OTA)
Resetting the system didn't help here either.
Then I tried to install TWRP on the device.
But unfortunately both methods that I tried failed.
Once via Sahara & firehose-test and the second was Suger QCT via the download mode.
But both of them got the error message NPRG Error 5002.
I have installed suitable USB drivers.
So my question, does anyone have a tip for me on how I could get the device revived?
And Sorry for my bad english

Hello, I deleted my system from twr without realizing what I was doing, the result is that I stay on the Alcatel logo. My steps were, the installation of sugar, when it starts not to update the application. Choose the 6055 model, since the 6055P model that is mine does not appear in the drop-down. Before starting sugar, turn off the mobile completely and connect it off to the usb of the pc, check if when connecting it the pc does not detect it, use another cable (there are many cables that only serve to charge and not to read on the pc) Now start sugar, choose the model and click on the Udgrade tab. You will surely get several messages saying that the mobile has been modified and that you lose the guarantee, go ahead accepting the message, in a few minutes you will have it ready. Greetings.

Hello, thanks for the answer and the download.
I've tried the same way. I still downloaded your file and tried as you described.
Unfortunately I got the same error NPRG Error 5002 again.
Unfortunately I have no idea where the problem could be.
I found out that it could be a memory error.
As if a flash process had failed and there is no longer a correct series of partitions.
So I would need a complete original rom and would have to flash it via fastboot.
I could also try it via twrp, but I don't get this flashed.
And I don't have a complete original rom either.
Hello,
So I have now been able to flash the phone with another PC with Sugar QCT after it suddenly started up after the battery was completely empty and I charged it again.
But unfortunately the boot problem persists after turning off the phone again.
Even after replacing the battery with a new one.
Then I tried to flash TWRP via the Alcatel Flasher.
The flash process was successful but there was no TWRP on it after the reboot.
So the problem could still be somewhere else than just the firmware.

Hello, it may be that you are making the same mistake that I made when installing recoveri. When selecting the recovery, note that the twr is the one that weighs about 14 mb and the original one about 24 mb. I think that when you make a copy with the recovery program and then install the twr you select it wrong. In the program, do not make the copy of the recovery, skip that step and go directly to install and select the 14 mb file. You will see that this is the problem. Cheers
