Cyanogenmod 12.1 vs anything stable what to choose ?

Hi everyone,
need some help. I have this SIII mini i8190N. At the moment I have installed CM12.1 (5.1.1) ... which I really love.
I have some issue, which unfortunately I'm not able to solve, nor getting any help on.
The phone doesn't charge the battery offline ... which for me is a big issue.
The battery almost always is at 48% and five minutes later (using it) jumps to 2% and the phone switches off. The battery in brand new.
And last but not least, the WiFiHotspot when enabled cause the phone to freeze (have to remove the battery)
Now, the question is ... do I find a custom rom which doesn't give me this problems or do I have to go back to the original ROM ?

i have that problem too, after reseting my phone, from 100% to 72%, i dont know why )

Says on NovaFusions download page that all roms are compatiable with i8190, i8190N (NFC), and i8190L (Latin America).

I have been using the lastest Omnirom 5.1 and let me tell you that is the most fast ROM that I have ever had in my S3 Mini. I highly recomend it and the camera recorder fix.

Resurrection Remix update

I have a galaxy tab S2 with Resurrection remix 7.1 on it and I love this ROM. I've been running since January and I have had no problems but one......... How to get updates?? Are there updates I can download that are general RR or are there just none? I've clicked on "check updates " a dozen times, it just says "can't check update. What to do? Can someone give some advice please?!!?

Try asking this in the thread where you downloaded Resurrection Remix from.

Nahway, flash over zip for it. I have two tablests with rr. I am keeping stock on s2 for now waiting if they release 7.0 in a week. Isn't really worse aside ugly settings

Since 3/2/2017 resurrection development has been stopped and nobody create a new build....
anyone can create a resurrection please for tab s2 Wi-Fi snapdragon model.... this tablet is much Faster and better for gaming than exynos version..... please anyone help me and all owner di this tablet...
I suggest to use lineage os source code or stock Android source code

You are lucky for having custom builds and a official recovery...have you checked OMNI Rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/ta...rom-omni7-samsung-galaxy-tab-s2-t813-t3573145 ? For T819 (LTE snapdragon) no new recovery and no lineage (at least)...

but is fully based on lineage?

T819 - best custom rom or stock?

I hope don't break any rules with that thread...
I've got Tab S2, T819 version and I installed Twrp +Magisk. Now I'm wondering what Rom to install or just stay on stock?
I don't like Lineage OS, I prefer something that is TouchWiz based. Are there any good, lite roms for T819? I saw many for the lower models but I'm assuming that they won't work here, right?
On my S7 I'm using ambasadii ROM, it would be fantastic to get something similar on T819.
I will really appreciate any kind of help.

There are outdated lite ROMs based on some old 7.0 TW firmware. Just check the according sections in here and you will find em. But the only maintained and working custom ROM right now is LOS 15.1.

most stable rom

im trying to find a stable rom thats atleast as fast as the stock eui rom. i tried lineage os before and it was noticeably slow within 10 seconds of using it.

Stable stock a custom rom you can make battery last longer and install custom roms. I personally tried them all. I like liquid remix ressurection remix and bootleggers rom. I have found that android pie on leeco le 2 to be buggy or camera wont work ect. I had the best luck with ressurection remix oreo and flashing the overload 4.15 kernel . Im actually doing that now I had the best luck with it.

I think i will chose hovacOS, over stock or any other ROM. Balanced battery and performance. Camera also works fine

@shubham.shrivast Which hovacOS You are using Oreo or Pie?

nice, ive rearely did anything with the kernel in the past but i might have to try it with this phone since ive had a hard time finding a reliable rom

is there a support forum for this rom? im having a hard time booting into it after flashing and couldnt find any on xdadevs
