Have you lost your smartphone box and you don't want to remove the battery because is stuck inside, but you want to get the unlock code from EMUI website ??
The EMUI website ask some information about your smartphone, but if you can go ONLY into Fastboot Mode here is the solution to find them.
You need: Product Model - Product Serial Number - IMEI - Product ID
To get IMEI and Product Serial Number type:
Code:
fastboot oem get-psid
result:
Code:
(bootloader) SN:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(bootloader) IMEI:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Now with your IMEI lets get the last two codes: Product Model and Product ID
Go to imei24.com and type the IMEI you found from fastboot command.
You will get the Product Model and Product ID, so you can copy & paste them into EMUI Unlock web site and you will get your Bootloader Unlock Code
I know there is a tool called Huawei Product ID Generator, but this guide is OS indipendent
I'm pretty sure this will work with every Huawei smartphone, not P8 Lite only, so you can stick this guide in the right section please.
Reminding some fastboot commands, it's always good. Nice!

Hi there,
I have a bricked ALE-L04, rooted with KingRoot without unlocking bootloader.
It worked well, until I flashed custom recovery. After that, when the phone rebooted it keeps complaining about modified recovery image with bootloader in locked state.
Since then (15 days ago) I'm asking at [email protected] for the unlocking code, with no answers (more than 10 mails already)
I have several issues when trying to get the code by entering at:
http://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail
It needs a 16 characters Serial Number, and the phone and the box tells a 12 chars S/N
Removing the back cover I've found a 16 chars code printed inside, and thought it would be THE serial number.
When using this 16 code, it says that serial number and IMEI are mismatched.
It's so frustrating. Trying with another ALE-L04 (one that is working), I have the same problems...
If someone has any ideas, or any chance to get direct contact with huawei (they don't answer the mails), please help me
You doesn't need Huawei to email an unlock code for you.
You can get it from here, straight away: http : // emui . huawei . com/en/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail
1. Download this Product ID generator and extract it somewhere: https : // drive . google . com/open?id=0B303_1pmtlHIdDVFb0llMGU3bjQ
2. Open it up, select the model HUAWEI C8812 (it should be already selected), type in your IMEI, and voila, you got your Product ID(8-digit number)
3. Go to this link: http : // emui . huawei . com/en/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail and fill it out with your details.
4. You'll get your unlocking code straight away.
I managed to get my phone unlocked via this method.
Sorry for the links, i'm not allowed to post them, only this way.
Thank you for your answer!
I just tried again using the model you told, and same results:
SN and IMEI are mismatched
Do you know where can I get the 16 digits serial number? It's not on the box, nor in the phone neither.
You can find both of these numbers in the phone itself.
Go to Settings > About phone > Status and scroll down, the IMEI and the Serial number should be on the bottom.
If you have multiple SIM slots, then use the first IMEI number.
If it still says mismatched, then try other phone types.
Also, the Product ID generator tells me a different Product ID than my phone, but I was able to get the right unlock code via that number...
I also read somewhere, that some Huawei devices can be unlocked via the fastboot oem unlock UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU command too. It's worth a try.
Thank you!
The problem is that the serial number is 12 digits only, it's not 16 and the unlock page doesn't like it.
By the way, I have a brick, and can't look into system settings because the phone doesn't boot up.
I've tried the UUUUU.. thing but this is the result:
Code:
$ fastboot oem unlock UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
...
FAILED (remote: Invalid key,unlock fail)
finished. total time: 0.134s
Still waiting more help! thank you very much for your time bro!
I've looked up few hits on the google, and seems you're not the only one with this problem.
In the Product ID generator app, you can find several phone models. Try each one of them and copy that Product ID onto the Unlock Code Request page with the same device selected there as in the program.
It'll take some time to get each one checked but I have no better solution.
Just for the record.. I have access to another p8 lite ALE-L04 and both have printed in the inside (removing the back cover) this:
1873UIF421X0xxxx
where xxxx are different.
And this doesn't match any code from the phone or in the box neither.
What I can't do:
The phone doesn't start
I can't look in the phone any data (serial, product ID, etc), because it doesn't start
I can't flash anything, because the bootloader is locked and don't allow me

Unfortunately, the link for the unlock code site requires a phone # check and it's only for a few countries (NOT the US). The email signup page just doesn't work (presumably because I'm trying to sign up from a US web address). You can enter an email, password, veri code, but dead link, just doesn't go anywhere, so this is not usable, unfortunately. Not now anyway.

Hey Hey hey. Remove that, quickly. NEVER show your IMEI or SN on the internet. Do it via pm
Hey guys,
Need some help here as I've checked everywhere I possibly can and can't find the answer. I've flashed the latest official ROM on 5.1.1 which worked and somewhere down the line it ended up in a bootloop. I've tried wiping data through the official recovery and still nothing. Anyways my bootloader was unlocked and after the ROM it got locked again. In order for me to unlock it again I need the Product ID which is hard now considering I can't access the phone setup. Checked the phone box and no luck. Is there anyway you guys know I can get the product ID through adb/fastboot commands?
Also I've tried the forced update method to get it working again but for some reason it keeps failing at around the 90percent mark possibly due to a corrupt partition.
Appreciate the help guys.

try 91715224 (1st IMEI) or 64080242 (2nd). you have to type Che1-L04 as Product Model in request unlock code form. don't add Huawei, Honor 4x, etc.

The phone doesn't boot currently, however, from the information behind the battery I think it should be a Huawei Vitria Y301-A2.
Thanks.

I tried the fastboot OEM unlock code command. I am not really sure if the problem is the actual device or the code. The following is what I get when I try to unlock the bootloader:
Code:
C:\Users\Antonio>fastboot oem unlock 201137956925371
< waiting for device >
...
(bootloader) Unlocking ...
OKAY [ 0.121s]
finished. total time: 0.124s
C:\Users\Antonio>fastboot oem unlock 201137956925371
< waiting for device >
...
(bootloader) Unlocking ...
OKAY [ 0.061s]
finished. total time: 0.067s
On each attempt the phone restarts as it would be to expected to, however when i re-enter fastboot mode it still reports as being locked.
same happends when u try wrong code? or it just reject it. i'm not an expert, but read that some devices aren't unlockable (carrier decision). like here with motorola:

So I need a product id to get a boot loader unlock code to fix my phone. It is I a boot loop without recovery.img and boot.img please help.

Hi, I have a p9 lite bricked and need to get a code to unlock the bootloader, but i can not get (product id) because it is checked on the phone.
I tried to generate based on Huawei Product ID Generator videos. Later generates the bootloader code and gives the wrong imei / meid
Please refer to the Product ID.
same problem to me
Hope someone can help me out here. Here's what happened:
1. Bricked my phone after downgrading firmware
2. Unable to load and stuck on Huawei logo
3. Can't enter recovery with the vol up + power buttons
4. Only can boot into bootloader with vol down + power buttons
5. Used DC Unlocker to view all the required info to generate unlock code - IMEI, Serial no., etc.
6. Retrieved code generated from Huawei site and Product ID Generator
7. Tried unlocking bootloader with SRK tool or manually via fastboot but it kept showing - fastboot oem unlock *my unlock code* > FAILED (remote: Command not allowed).
8. Reinstalled USB driver and tried again but still the same error
I've also tried dload with the stock update.app downloaded from official Huawei site and the 3 buttons combination (vol up + vol down + power) doesn't work at all.
I'm not sure what else I can do now. Hope someone can be able to help. Thanks in advance.
Update: after struggling for a few weeks trying to unbrick the P9 and my local Huawei service center tried to charge me for at least $400 and claimed that they need to change the board to fix it, DC Phoenix was able to sort my problem out with 15 Euros. It was well worth it and I got my P9 back to working state again.
Here's what I realized happened to my phone before it was bricked. All partitions were corrupted due to a bad update.app or possibly due to a bad cable (noticed it was torn up like one of those apple cables).
DC Phoenix - You don't have to worry if your bootloader or FRP is still locked. It'll use a backdoor to write every partition from a stock .app firmware file and that's pretty neat.
Lesson learnt and to anyone who's trying to root, downgrade, flash or fiddle with anything on your Huawei, enable your OEM unlock in developer options or you'll get a hard time trying to unbrick if anything goes wrong.
Revived: Huawei P9 (EVA-L19)
I've gone through that before, but ended up using DC-Phoenix to unbrick it when it's FRP and bootloader locked. Cost me about $15. There is a post on how to do this but I'll have to search for it again.
Here is the post I used:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71767614&postcount=7
This was done using a EVA-L09 phone.
Thanks for the information @benjamen50. I've considered using DC Phoenix too but that software doesn't look too assuring.
I'll update once I have the time to try DC Phoenix.

It works 100%. I had to use it too to unbrick my device good luck
I was stuck on same scenario, have cell under warranty and things normal after submitted to service center, but before went to service center, i searched over the internet, you just de-brand your cell and all things will be normal
May I ask, how and where did you get the unlock code?

The code is generated from a combination of model, product serial number, IMEI and product ID. Here are the steps to get all those details:
Head to this site - https://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/unlock/detail
Login or signup if you don't have an account. Under 'unlock' page there's a form you'll need to fill
On your device:
Go to Settings > Developer Options and enable OEM unlocking
IMEI and serial number can be found in Settings > About > Status
Dial *#*#1357946#*#* to get your product ID
Fill in all these details in the form on emui site and it'll generate an unlock code for your device.
