Something like that https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1562694. If someone have this, put in the comments please
The example does not change the logo.bin, it refers to the bootanimation. Try looking for bootanimations like that. Moreover, it may be compatible.

I joined two great boot animations together but it is not working nicely. The first part is working but the second part(Loop part) is not even starting. Can someone please look into it and tell me what might be wrong.

use this software to create boitanimation.zip
this software will create desc.txt and will correctly compress the animation you can also preview animation
maybe the file .bridgesort in your animation is causing the problem
Yes, the problem was in my compression method. Now it's working nicely. I'll probably just put the finished one on Theme and Apps, in case anyone may want it.
Thank you.
I've foudn a fantastic LCARS boot animation that id like to use on my Note but it is a little two small. Does anyone know how to resize it please.
I have tried to edit the desc file to 1280 x 800 and also 800 x 1280 but it wont work. It is either distorted or all I get is a black screen while the boot sound is played....im using a seperate boot ogg file.
Here is the link to the boot animation file

thanks il give it a try.
Would i just copy the bootanimation.zip to my phone then run it through this programme?
yes, once the program has created it, move it to your phone and replace the original one with the one you made
What about ones someone else has made but just need resizing?
I should imagine it would be the same as creating your own, Just edit the resolution and let the program generate it ??
Ive never actually used the program i just remember seeing it one time, and when you asked about it i remembered
Curious did it work for you

I have just used the other app ( boot animation creator ) and bongo worked perfectley. top advice thank you.
if the animation comes in typical zip file, you should be able to unpack it and just resize all the pics,
or am I missing something? (sorry, now unable to check the file by myself)
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
ITs ok bud i managed to sort it out
can someone resize this
I have this bootanimation but its small so i want to resize to fit the screen of my nexus 5 pls
YOU MUST HAVE ROOT FOR THIS!!!!
Do not PM me about any 'no root' nonsense. I will tell you to look up what rooting is and WILL NOT answer any questions!
Although this is for MDPI devices (which hardly anybody has anymore) this boot animation will definitely be a favorite among energy drink lovers. It took almost an hour to make, but I did it and I'm proud of myself.
All it is is the Monster Energy logo cycling through the rainbow at 20 FPS, but it works. Please post your resolution on the thread if you want it to fit to your screen!
The current resolution is 320x480.
To install use jrummy's Boot Animations * Root application or similar
--OR--
you can rename it "bootanimation.zip" and use a root file browser to paste it in /data/local for 4.0 and up and /system/media for below 4.0.
**EDIT**
I don't know for sure whether or not the MonsterHighDef boot animation works as I have an MDPI device... Install at your own ******RISK******
*Edit 2*
I accidentally deleted all of the files I was working on, so new ones will be available soon (Probably on the monday following Thanksgiving). For now, I will upload what I currently have.
BluXnoWord.zip is a new theme variation from the original Monster.zip and BluXword.zip had the word "BlueX" on it which is a variation of the BlueZ default Cyanogenmod Bluetooth hostname.
PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS THREAD WITH YOUR DEVICE RESOLUTION SO I CAN MAKE ONE FOR YOUR DEVICE!!!
I'm not going to ask for thanks but it would be nice.
***SUPEREDIT***
I uploaded a .zip with all of the previews.
=+MEGAEDIT+=
If you're going to just download and not thanks me, that does not make me want to make more.
Seriously, I am going to delete this thread if people aren't going to show support.
Title,
I've grown tired of the ui sounds on my XZ1 because they are outdated, I remember having the same on my Xperia P way back. I noticed that they have changed these sounds for the XZ2, would you mind sharing them so that I can edit mine out?
Thanks.
Edit: I managed to grab it from a rom for another device, so no need anymore. I could share it if anyone else wants it.
Currently, my XZ1c startup goes like this:
Bootloader is unlocked warning
The VERY BRIGHT Sony screen
LineageOS animation
Lockscreen
My goals:
Get rid of the Bootloader warning (1)
Change the Sony screen (2) to something else (maybe just inverted so it's White-On-Black instead)
I've seen tools like Boot Animations for Superuser that promise to change the boot animation... but I believe they're referring to the LineageOS animation. I'm not trying to change that.
Also found this abandoned Splash Screen Creator tool from 2011. The comments suggest it no longer works.
This post suggests the solution is in \ramdisk\res\images\warning, but I'm only seeing some battery images there.
Does anyone know how to make these changes? Thank you.
I'd say it's very unlikely either two of those screens can be changed for this phone or any of the Xperia phones. I've yet to see a thread on how to do it. If it was possible XDA searches would have produced something.
Do any of these help? I have no idea, and would be very interested in finding a solution too.

That last one seems very promising, atleast for the bootloader warning.

So then it is possible on some xperia phones. I've found several properly sized pngs. I wonder if it would be possible to flash a kernel with the different splash screen?

I got hopeful after doing some digging. In /dev/block/by-name/ is a file called splash. I searched 'changing splash screen' and this is where and what the logo file is on some devices. I tried some conversions and replacement but nothing seems to have taken effect. Maybe someone with more knowledge and experience could figure it out...

If it was possible it would have been done a long time ago.
