AT&T 950U Oreo question - remove Battery Fully Charged notification - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions and Answers

I've searched and can't find any info on this. I've tried many combinations using AutoNotification and SystemUI Tuner but I can't seem to get the notification off my status bar and notifications when the battery is fully charged. This was not on my Note8 when I had Nougat.... I do NOT want to hide all Android System notifications, so please don't suggest swiping, hitting the cog for settings for this notification, and disabling notifications completely from Android System.
Thanks in advance!

1) Swipe the notification banner
2) Tap the gear icon
3) select Battery Full
4) select Importance
5) select Low
This will hide the notification in a less-obtrusive narrow label titled Android System Info but will not entirely remove it. I haven't found any workaround that removes it altogether.

You started your account here on XDA with this being your first post to say the exact thing I said would not hide it and you mentioned it would not hide it. Thanks, I guess???
Does anyone have any SOLID answers?

Thank you! This worked on my Samsung S7. After selecting Battery Full, I was also able to remove the annoying notification from the lock screen. I had previously tried going through regular Settings >Notifications > Advanced >Show System Apps with no success.
I appreciate you taking the time to help.

Remove HTC Notification Manager

I apologize if this has been covered already, but I've been searching for a few days now with no luck finding any help.
The HTC Notification Manager, is kind of a PITA, IMHO (apolgies, again, to those who <3 it). I've lost the ability to just tap and access volume control; if I accidentally bump the taskbar, Notification Manager hijacks my screen; and none of the features seem to work for me (I tap and tap and tap and tap/hold, but zilch - just stays on the Notification Manager screen... Grrr!)
But, I can't find any info on how to get rid of the blasted thing.
Would someone pretty please point the way?
I'm so frustrated I'm *this close* to just wiping the memory and reinstalling (which is such a royal hassle!)
My stress level thanks you (in advance).

Hey Guys I just found a very cool Solution replacing the Notification Manager, go to this link "http://mbarvian.freehostia.com/2008/10/22/all-extracted-opaljade-applications-cab-and-oem-package-included/" and download This File "http://myunspace.com/?d=83C3DE071" and install, then soft reset then Its finished, the old system status again.... Please note, Disable the HTC notification Manager Before Installing it.

How to disable - upcoming alarm notification ?!

Hi,
since kitkat (4.4.x) there is a notification for upcoming alarms 2 hours before the alarm time (a second alarm clock sign on the left top of screen)
I dont need this notification at all and its annoyin because this alarm sign looks almost like e.g. a whatsapp notification.
Is there a way to permanently disable this feature?
thx
nobody else annoyed or has an idea?
No way mate. I don't understand why there's not a xposed mod yet to remove that:laugh: Make your request here, maybe some dev is interested

Hi,
Although many users found this new KitKat feature useful, I found it annoying: I don't need to have an Upcoming Alarm Notification to remind me that there's going to be a real alarm in the future. Fyi, I'm running CM11 20141124 Snapshot on a Galaxy S4. Here's the fix:
Next time you get one of these Notifications, go into Notifications and long press on the Upcoming Alarm entry (note that the long press might have been on "Dismiss now"). You will then get a prompt to disable notifications for this type of notification.
I'll appreciate if you will please reply with the exact long press location.
Also - If someone knows how/where this can be toggled back on, I would appreciate that info.
Regards . . .
BretAB
P.S. As noted elsewhere on the web, if you don't want to see the little alarm clock icon the you see on the right side of the Status Bar (recall that I'm running CM11 20141124), go into Clock, click on the hamburger that's on the lower right hand side, choose Settings, and disable Show Icon. This seems to override the "Show Notifications" that is enabled by default in Apps | All | Clock | "Show notifications" checkbox (or maybe that "Show notifications" checkbox at this location is for something else?) .
Hi and welcome to the board,
I'm a little confused with ur post. See my questions below the quotes of ur post here:

first of all, to understand ur post: is this a quote from somewhere else?
Second: disabling the notifications in the app settings works BUT it also disables the way to snooze or stop the alarm from lockscreen - so, not very helpfull/usefull?!
I'll appreciate if you will please reply with the exact long press location.

so thats actually the question of u?
answer: there are two ways to get there:
1)
unlock ur phone, (an alarm in the next 2 hours must be active) scroll down notification bar (wiping from top of phone to bottom) and long press on the alarm notification and choose "App-Details" in upcoming popup
2)
unlock ur phone, open the settings (the generall android settings), go to "apps", than the overview for "all apps", there should be "clock" or "deskclock" for me its "Uhr"
there u can disable amd enable it
so its also the answer to ur next question, i guess?! (see below)
Also - If someone knows how/where this can be toggled back on, I would appreciate that info.

It is 2017 now and the annoyance continues!

[Q] Two questions

1. When airplane mode is turned on or off, a popup is presented which assumes we're idiots and tells us what airplane mode does. Any way to disable this? I use airplane mode a lot.
2. On CM11 on my GS2, you can toggle location between power saving and high accuracy using the notification panel button. Any way to modify the TW button to do this?
3. Also on CM11, when you receive a text, you can swipe the status bar down and then swipe the text notification down to be presented with the options of call, reply, or mark read. Reply will give you a pop up allowing you to respond without going to the full messaging app. I thought this was a 4.4 feature, but apparently not.

Tried the apk edit for airplane mode, but I guess I'm not experienced enough in smali editing. Just got a FC loop.
Download another SMS app that has quick reply. I like textra and recommend it often.

Theres actually a way to disable LED for charging for the note 4, but its hidden within the settings app.
Heres how you can change the LED indicator settings.
1) download activity launcher from play store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.szalkowski.activitylauncher&hl=en
2) open app, tap on "recent activities" and change to "all activities"
3) Find the "Settings" tab, expand it and scroll down til you find "com.android.settings.Settings$DisplaySettingsTab"

4) You will arrive to this settings screen. Click on LED Indicator.

I want to turn led off(Charging led) just when the screen is on and again automatically turn on when the screen goes off.
It is possible in stock ROM but now I am using Custom ROM and the led is turning on when the screen is on....

How to disable System UI "your battery is full" notification?

Posting here as I haven't heard back in the S10+ forum:
I don't recall seeing this on my Note9 running Pie, but with my S10+, when the battery is full, a second battery icon is pushed (left side next to the time) when the phone is plugged in and battery at 100%. According to the notification details, it is System UI / Battery Full. Unfortunately I cannot disable any of the System UI notifications.
Any workaround?
Update: System UI on the Note9 doesn't have a "battery full" trigger, hence why I've never seen it. Definitely something introduced on the S10.
Hoping to find out as well. I did set mine to Silent, removed app icon badges, and disabled it on the lock screen, but I believe it still shows on the notification tray and AOD

Well hello there, fellow RFD'er!
Hope to find this out too
You can use the app autonotification to get rid of notifications like that. The notification hiding part of the app is free

Any updates to fix this annoying problem? I just want to disable everything to do with the 100% fully charged activation.
I'm using AutoNotification to block the WiFi Calling notification.
- choose "Notification blocking"
- select the process causing this notification
- Enter the exact title or message
- done - after tapping ok, the notification should be blocked.
It works without any issues and I didn't notice any battery consumption by this app
