Are you rooted and did you try after adding the following line in build.prop file persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1 save the file and reboot your device.?

It's an amazing camera app. The eis works perfectly in videos but I'm also wondering what kind of features might we get from it ? I mean the amount of the options that we have is very nice but as far as I am aware the redmi 5 plus has the same camera sensor. Can we expect any features from there ? I know that redmi 5 has got sc450 soc but are there any differences between the redmi 5 and plus related to a camera ? Thanks in advance for answer.

After first testing I can say I will not use it any further.
Compared some lowlight shots with cameranext and the HTC camera doubles the ISO
which results in way more noise and artifacts

Hi, this is a great start for the app. Just a few issues.
Video recording doesn't work for Mr from the main camera. Is this for everyone or just me?
Also, would it be possible that pictures/videos be saved in the default golder instead of creating a new folder (100media or something its called)?
So far so good, hope to see more people using this.

Yes..I have tried it earlier on Rooted CM11s ROM and I confirm it works.

If download is too slow cancel the download and try again and use IDM. Method is given in video link how to download fast
One major bug i found volte is not working when i use this rom in multirom as secondary.As well as in all roms in secondary volte gone.But when i delete this rom volte works again in other secondary rom.

Selfie has improved a lot, thanks for the file, I was already extremely sad about the stock selfie.
Thanks for the config file i just installed Gcam and this file. I have to say this is night and day compared to the stock Xiaomi camera app.
There are far more small fine details on Gcam that are completly gone on stock Xiaomi camera app.
the only thing that disappoints me about Gcam is that you can't record in HEIC. But you can record in RAW. Does anyone know of an APP to convert RAW to HEIC?

Try the Parrot's one (the up-to-date versions can be found in the Telegram chanel). From my experience, his mods are the most polished and well balanced.

Some people on the comments on Telegram are saying not working with Xiaomi i don't know why.
I actually downloaded and tested the latest version of the telegram chanel you have provided and i've got very bad results it's even worst than Xiaomi i got less details.
So i reinstalled the version that was provided at the start of this thread.

No i just properly uninstalled the MTSL version and manually deleted some remining folders before installing the Parrot version.
But i didn't change any settings with the Parrot version when i tried it.
If someone find a way to actually obtain good results with the Parrot version please let us know.
