It uses Snapdragon Camera, but you can disable it and install latest Arnova gcam, its compatible.

all aosp roms seem to have the caller Id issue for me,
I'll try a log.
For gcam, if I install it and deactivate the inbuilt camera I'm not able to save the fotos. Permissions are granted.

Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.

ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

dt2w issue for the two different displays used in Mi Max is fixed in official CM14.1 kernel sources + device tree...

sometime, wakening is very bad. it's just a dim screen even on incoming call
dt2w doesn't work for me
no option to disable vibrate fingerprint (or you tell me how to disable it )
and i hope you add screen recorder in power menu and quick unlock feature when when I entered the correct passcode

How come OP recommend a gapps and you recommend a different one? If you face issue with the one recommended by OP, it would be better to elaborate instead of just recommending another one. My opinion

OP make this post yesterday morning.. at that time Official OpenGapps are available for download but still it has issue while flashing from TWRP as tested & confirmed by many people on this Forum (Currently official OpenGapps are not available for download)... I don't know if OP tested Official Gapps or not. but the Gapps from above link are working & from trusted source..

Uh you're wrong it's few bugs most major stuff is working and you say it's horrible?
It's good first release specially when it's first treble released rom for this device or couldn't be better. If u still wanna complain go fix the issues yourself and come back when you did so. Until then please stop acting douchy

Twrp doesnt woking : i can see the twrp load with "openkirin team twrp" but after no touchscreen, no mtp, and the rom of course didn't work.

I don't know. However, phhusson (the OP of treble thread) is working to port the EMUI camera app to treble's AOSP, now he is able to take a shot with it, but it's not saved.

This Rom is PE based like Pixel Expierience UNOFFICIAL and Evolution X OS UNOFFICIAL.
Both Android 10 for Mi9.
In both cases u r able to add PayPal to gpay (after gpay-gsm db fix) and NFC works also with nfc-cards (e.g. university card in my case).
But if you try to pay with at the store it will not work. Sometimes there is a error (couldn't read card - shell gas station) or just nothing happenes (netto / globus) or the card terminal software crashes and their terminal reboots (rewe).
I talked about the issue in the CFW thread, but with no solution...

when i wipe system, flash .06 vendor, then flash rom and press reboot in twrp it says no OS installed
