there's all the links. For $20, I like it. No support for extended battery, but stil nice. You have to open it to use the screen or keyboard, but I'm tough on my phone, and this compliments my Toughbook well.
Thought I would share.
I have the same case and like it a lot.
Seidio case for mogul - My favorite case*
Hey guys,
Not sure if you've seen this case, but I figured I'd post it.
http://www.seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=797
You can pick from a rubberized, aluminum, clear, or hybrid rubber-clear case.
You don't have to open the case to use the keyboard, so its perfect.
It doesn't have a clear plastic cover like yours, but I find that clear screen protectors from bestbuy do the job (i'm pretty rough on my phone as well).
sigh, still no case for the extended battery. Kind of getting tired of looking every day for something that will do the same as these cases. I can't understand why no one is producing a case like the seidio one for an extended battery. Does anybody know of one of those types of cases?
Unfortunatly thats true for just about every accessory out there for the 6800...
Even the car mounts have issues with Extended batteries.
I guess it has to do with the fact they are making these for the most common setups people have and until Extended batteries sell as many units as the phone does we are $#!^ out of luck...
i guess you have the super extended battery? not just the regular extended battery..
that things a beast.. i have the regular extended battery and love it. how's the super extended going for you?
when i bought my battery from seidio, they didnt have the super one. maybe now that they do, they'll make a special case as well.
I had the 2800 MAH battery, selling it for $25 and got the Mugen 1800MAH stock fit one. Mogen Power had a robbery though, so still waiting...
From email:
"Due to a break-in on last week in our European distribution centre, we lost most of our stock, processed shipments and computer equipment. Currently, we are arranging replacement stock from our factory and other distribution centres, which is expected to arriving this week. We expect to dispatch your battery at the end of this week. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience and we will do our utmost to dispatch your order as soon as possible. You will receive an email with shipment details as soon as your parcel has been sent."
I have the seidio 3200 battery, i usually go about 2 days without charging and a 3-4 hour phone call drops me down to about 78%. But, yes, the thing is big and no, there are no cases, gelskins or anything else for this thing.
Hmm case does it's job. I was just up on a ladder in the Data Center at work... 12 feet up with a metal floor. Dropped the phone, it tumbled down a few rungs and hit hard on one corner against the floor after about 6 feet. It bent the case a bit, but all it well. It hit the bottom left corner on the screen side.
Yep I have the 3200 battery and it's funny...the 3200 with the battery cover from seidio is actually thinner than the 2200 battery I got from Ebay! LOL
I am waiting to buy the car dock from seidio to see if it works better with the extended battery. What I have now is a standard padded vice mount which is problematical for two reasons.
One the depth of the unit due to the battery and two the padding tends to press buttons when your putting the unit into the holder...
I love the monster battery!
And for those who wonder the battery comes with the cover when you order from seidio.
Looks like this case;

Sure does. Cool!
Has anyone used this flip case. I was thinking about getting, but wanted some opinions first.

honestly the 2 piece hardcase that lsides with the phones stil lseems liek the best option to me
these are just to tedious to me just access the QWERTY, but there sick looking

I just noticed that Ipaq has this case for extended batteries. I don't know if that's a new addition or has been there all along, but it's good to know that there's at least one case of this type that can handle extended batteries.
just saw this on ppcgeeks thought I'd post it here for anyone looking. It's "coming soon" but not sure about ETA:
http://www.seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=993
So its ONLY 2 months late from when they said it would be out. But just the same, good to see it is ALMOST out.
now Shipping! Woot!
Too bad it would cost me 100 bucks for the package. 70 for the extended battery, and another 35 for the case. Not sure I could justify dropping that for my cell phone.
Has anyone tried any of the batteries from Seidio. They are offering an extended battery of 3200 MAH. I don't want to try one of these if there is a chance of frying my 6800.

So, let me see if I understand your question, in a forum post about the extended hard case for the seidio battery, you wonder if anyone has tried any of the batteries?
Why would any of us be discussing the hard case for the SEIDIO extended battery if we didn't already have the battery to get the hard case for????
Do you imagine we're all going to buy the hard case for the extended battery and use it with the stock battery?
I have the Seidio Battery...
It will not FRY your phone!

Well let’s see!
Maybe because it is nothing more than a hard case.
or
Because there is no requirement stating that one must have the SEIDIO extended battery to use the SEIDIO hard case.
or
Maybe I just thought that because it was apparent that some of the viewers in this thread may have some knowledge about extended batteries and since I have heard about aftermarket batteries/accessories that have caused problems in the past thereby voiding the warranty and the fact that to replace this phone would be pricey it might just be a good idea to ask those with experience in the extended battery arena about the integrity of the product before I purchase.
I don't want a $579.00 (retail replacement) iron on my hands!
mr.ellsworth
Dude, it's a HARDCASE ONLY FOR THE EXTENDED BATTERY. Why would anyone buy the hardcase for the extended battery IF they didn't have the extended battery in the first place?
If you wanted to use the "slim" hardcase then that would make sense, but this is ONLY for users who have the EXTENDED battery to buy this hard case.
Just nearly a week and a half ago I placed my first order to get a slim rubber case and clip..and the day I saw that the extended case was in I ordered the battery and case..got it today and so far nothing but good results. I've had it on for what seems to be like 7 hours and it shows 80% still remaining...BUT during a good 4 or 5 of those hours i had bluetooth on, wifi on and logged onto windows live messanger..it didn't budge. Its not that much bigger with this battery and with somedays not knowing if i'll be working 8 hours or 14 this helps out alot! It does add a bit of weight to it but i'm willing to give that extra weight and thickness for all that my phone is capable of doing.

$579.00?? It costs $619.00 to replace at Verizon!!
not worth it, haha
Well, check it out. I'm the kind of person to take care of my junk. I went to my god fathers heart surgery, and that morning in the parking lot i dropped my phone (1st time) cause you know, it's damn slippery. I was juggling other crap in my hands as well. The phone dropped, back cover popped off no problem.
It wasn't until later i noticed that the left msg record button was jammed, i set that button as 'alt+tab.' crap. I tried fixing it, it proved impossible with my methods.
I used my insurance and got a new phone for $50. That was late 2007. Just this past wednesday, about 4-5 months after with this new phone, i dropped it at work from a very low height. What are the odds that the same freaking button broke? Fook it, right? I can learn to live with it. But i still want the case. Even if you got this phone for $200, a $40 investment to protect it is worth it. I am a power user running 10 emails through flexmail at all times, amongst other things such as my exchange work email. So i will not only get this case but the extra capacity battery.
If you don't think $40 is worth covering $200, then you probably have problems. If this had been available when i bought the phone, i would have gladly paid $40 over $50 and the hassel i went through setting up the new phone.
thanks for the great find gand!
So after having this setup for nearly a week I am quite pleased. From having last plugged it in on Friday for about a 45 minutes it lasted till sunday afternoon at about 4:30 where it showed 30%. Given i was barely talking on the phone and sent only a dozen or two texts...the standby time still amazed me. I google mapped a few things as well..I definately reccomend this.
Ok so I ordered:
3200MAH SUPER EXTENDED BATTERY FOR PPC 6800 ($64.95 USD)
RUBBERIZED CASE/HOLSTER COMBO FOR EXTENDED XV 6800 / PPC 6800 ($49.95 USD)
It came out to a total of $127.15 (USD)
The battery comes with a cover as shown in the picture, but unlike the picture it says seidio on the back of it, very cool!
The 'rubberized case' with holder is pretty cool. It's not as 'grippy' as i thought it would be, but definitly an improvement over the original finish. I am more confident with it in my hand.
I've begun charging the battery that supposedly has 60% charge according to WM.
I also use my phone quite a bit so i'll be reporting in on whether this battery was worth it or not.
Worth noting is that unlike many others, i had no problems at all installing the battery case cover, nor the rubber covers. Just be patient and look at what you're doing and you should be ok.
So far 100% satisfied, will update in a few weeks.
not wanting the extreme bulk of the 3200 battery, i went ahead and got a 1650 battery instead...BIG MISTAKE, don't get it, I don't notice any battery level change, I went about with my usual business hopefully ending the day with at least 30-40% (I generally start using the phone at 9-10 till maybe 8-9) at night but instead, as usual it dropped to 0 and dies on me. With a case and the battery i forked up 108 bucks- so pay the extra 20 bucks and get the 3200 instead, i regret not doing so!

I use the Mugen 3600mAh battery and Seido hard case; in three months of use, no one has ever commented on the thickness of my phone. It fits (fills) the hand better for a more secure grip. But yes, the Seido "rubberized" case isn't all that grippy, so I recommend plastering it with e-grips appliques.
Seidio extended battery case hardware hack for macro lens and sunshield.
The pictures will show what a sweet hack this is. I'd wanted both a sun shield and a macro lens, and when I got this new battery and the case that came with it I saw the possibilities right away.
First I eyeballed the length and width of the slider that I would need (about 9/16" by 7/16" )
Then I carved a channel the thickness of my slider in the large lower lip.
The opposing channel was constructed from three layers of the same black plastic sheet I used for the slider.
Cleaned out any excess glue from the track, checking it with the slider by hand.
Then I temporarily spot glued the three layer channel to the case with the slider in place to see if I needed to make any adjustments to the width of the slider.
After making adjustments I glued the three layer channel to the case with the slider in place.
Now I was ready to make the hole for my macro lens (You want to make it centered with respect to the camera) I just eyeballed it. Made a small hole with a drill, then with a round needle file made it as concentric with the hole in the case for the camera as I could by hand.
Having stripped numerous machines and devices over the years I had a little selection of small lenses.
I chose a small magnifier of a size a little bit larger than the hole I'd filed in the slider and glued it in place.
When that dried I put the case back on the phone and I moved the slider to the macro position and made sure it was centered correctly. Then a sliver of the same black plastic sheet was carefully glued in the channel as a block to stop the slider at that position.
That was pretty much it. I used 5 minute clear epoxy which allowed me to clean out glue that was in bad places while it was still tacky.

edit: and says it's compatible with holster, agian, very satisfied buy.

This is by far my favorite of the 3 holsters I've previously owned for various phones by the same company. Phone sits very secure with no fear of falling out at all.
Interesting, the price is a bit steep but not too high.
I would like to see some higher res pics from a few angles to get a better idea of what the case cover looks like.
I have the holster but how do you know the extended battery fits the holster? From the single photo of the battery cover, it looks like the top sticks out as much as the area below the camera...

Yes I did see that though from the photo it does not look like that's the case. Do you really think it's compatible from that photo? I've had the extended battery for the Storm and the holster worked fine because the battery cover did not extend on the upper portion where the camera is. Guess we'll have to wait for someone to actually dive in but in the meantime I'm sticking to what I can tell from that photo on their site.
Reasonable price? depends on what you think is reasonable. You do realize that without either the battery or the phone, the other is pretty worthless. I think it's a great price considering crap motorola batteries are $30
got this from seidio, just an fyi, they must be talking about different holsters or the listing might just be plain incorrect.

I ordered this, and its been shipped already and I am awaiting arrival. I also have the innocase and holster combo, and while I know the innocase wont fit, I will try the holster and report back if that one works.
any idea which case will work?
:/
I got mine today. Huge battery
The replacement cover is ok, although I am afraid it will accidentally slide off in my pocket.
Overall, the added bulk really doesn't make a huge difference, in fact it makes it a little easier to hold.
Can't wait to see what the battery life on this sucker is like.

I got mine today too. I also like the added bulk. It fits my Seidio holster, even though the innocase that I got with the holster wont fit. Made of the same material as the innocase so its hard to scuff etc. I'll report back after a few cycles to let people know what I'm getting usage wise out of it.
UPDATE:
Well, it came off the charger at 3:30pm today saying 100%. I have been hammering it mercilessly for 6 hours now. Streaming Pandora for six hours straight, Turned on GPS, set all of my social network notifications to the quickest pull intervals, and my mail also. I have had the web browser open for nearly three hours, had three calls of around 20 minutes each, and my awake time since I pulled the battery off the charger is 100%. I am sitting at 75% right now. I am trying to get the battery low so I can get a full charge for the next cycle, but this damn thing won't go down. I guess I'll try to download a game or something and play it while listening to Pandora. This thing is a beast....
This is a beast. Used it all evening last night, and the power meter did not budge.
Also the new back makes the Hero much easier to hold.
Waiting for a day in the office where I have a weak signal to see how it does there. I'm guessing this thing will make it through a day or two no matter what I throw at it.
By far the best accessory...
Awesome, guys, glad to hear this thing is the real deal. I'm thinking about getting one but I'm waiting for the price to go down. Anyone know if they usually do? Last extended battery I bought was only $7, this one is pretty steep.
I found a better deal but not in stock ATM:

watch out for these kinda deals, i'm fairly certain seidio's waranty doesn't transfer to 3rd party sellers completely.
I had purchased a battery from seidio previously that was DoA, and after a conversation with their RMA department getting my invoice number and all that, they said they will replace bad batteries from anywhere but since I purchased through seidio directly they would send me a replacement without having to send the old one back first (or at all, they just said to pitch it). The battery that was sent to me was tested with a full power cycle before being over-nighted to my door.
I don't know, it's something to think about. If I'm getting a quality piece of gear, and the service to back it. I don't mind throwing out an extra little bit.
I'm on my second charge. The phone has been off the charger since 12pm on Sunday. I am sitting at 70% on Monday at 2pm. I'm really liking the usage I am getting out of this. I did not beat on it too much yesterday, just a lot of normal use. I figure at this rate, I will have to charge it every three or so days. I'm hoping it improves after a few cycles, even though I've only charged it twice so far. I'm going to run it down to 30% or so before the next charge....who knows when that will be lol.
Anyone think the power skin case would work for our hd2 that they made for the EVO or for that matter the HD7? I'd love to get this case! Double battery!

Ofcourse it will work, since what you are doing is not different from charging the phone. I mean you connect this battery via miniusb to the phone so i see no reason why it shouldn't work. I think the right question would be if the device will show it as an extended battery or as the phone being charged. I think you get what i am trying to say.

Hi ppl why you want to buy something that makes the phone ugly, big ,non pocket friendly and you have to carry it. If i checked correct it charging the phone up to 85%. If you don't have problem to carry something with you you can choose zagg which can charge hd2 almost 4 times or you can carry a Chinese battery from eBay which is really cheap and smaller . For me because this is a problem i choose this

Ty for the reply,
About the zagg, I don't want to carry along something that is detached from my phone, because I like to keep it in my pocket; I admit this makes it thicker, but I got extra big pockets just in case - sales assistant stared at me cluelessly when I asked for jeans/cargo trousers with the biggest pockets.
About the 2430mah Chinese battery, it's stated capacity is a lie - hence a waste of money.

LOl theres no way the fit an extra 1000mah in the same size battery. Im no expert at batteries but it isnt physically possible. I guess most xda members wear skinny jeans or something.
Wow that thing is huge and ugly imo. I get great life out of my battery using hyperdroid GBX...ever since I have been using that rom I have not once thought about an exteded battery.
I bought this from ebay for $13 w/free shipping. Just got it today. Hd2 is 2mm x 1mm x .5mm smaller than the hd7, so it is a little loose. But barely loose. Still fits, and stays put, doesn't slide around. Hd7 power and battery ratings are the same as hd2, so it is fully compatible. Works great! Doesn't actually add to your total maH, but you have a gel cover with a built in 1500 maH battery that charges your phone when needed. The result- led is always green or amber, so no flashing led when message is received. Also, there is no data pass through, so you have to take the case off to sync with your pc. The case comes off easily though. Case takes the same usb connector as the phone, so you can use your charger. Since it is a case, the overall size increase is uniform, unlike the pregnant bulge of an extended battery. Still, I'm going to get an extended battery just to have it and check it out. I recommend this case.

Hi, i wonder how much extra working ours you get using this case, ? some 10hrs more ?
My mom owns an HTC HD7, I tried one of her cases on my phone, and it fit perfectly, however the problem is that the volume rocker is on the other side so it makes it difficult to change the volume on the phone

how much extra hrs you get with this case ?
I was thinking of getting one of these (or an extended battery) but I just bought a portable charger. It's 2300 mah (almost 2 extra full charges) for only $30.
POWERSKIN only 4.99$
POWERSKIN only 4.99$ but not available for FRANCE ....fk...
now even 0,01$ and i think shipping to europe is possible as i could choose it on checkaout. Shipping 14,95$
you could order one? and you probably did...
i had a master plan of ordering few of them, sending them to someone in europe who can order them and sending them to everyone across the continent who wanted one.
First, I did receive a review sample from ZeroLemon.
If you're looking for a slim solution, this is NOT your choice, if you're looking for massive amounts of additional power on the go without having to carry a cable and external battery, then this IS your solution.
As I'm sure everyone will mention, it's LARGE. Until battery tech gets smaller, you gotta cram that battery somewhere. It's pretty hefty as well. If you wanted with this battery pack, you could outlast everyone around you in a marathon Pokemon Go session, long flights of movies won't be a problem. It's not going to provide any screen protection if dropped, but it might give you some arm workouts as you use the phone.
It's brainless to use. Plug your Note 8 into the battery case. All the button passthru's worked fine and aligned up. You are still "capable" of using the fingerprint reader, expect a bit more "reach" to get there. The case itself doesn't block the camera at all. No ghosting of the case in your photos.
If I were designing this, I would have added a flipout kickstand so you could just sit and watch movies without having to hold the bulk.
Product Packaging:
Packaging is quite simple, it’s a white ziplock bag and a brown cardboard box. There isn’t much in terms of instructions, just a small flip out pamphlet that instructs you on how to plug in the battery and case.
The battery attaches to the Note 8 via the USB-C port on the phone. The battery attachment also charges through a USB-C female port, so there is no need to change chargers or cables that you are already using with the phone.
Battery Usage:
I charged the case for approximately 12 hours before initial use – as instructed on the white ziplock bag that it all comes in.
The battery/case:
It’s a simple TPU case. It has a matte texture that feels good in the hands and prevents slippage.
After testing the battery case with the camera flash, I found no issues.
There is no need to remove the phone from the attachment in order to transfer files to your computer – something that is not possible with another extended battery case I tried using prior to this one.
Charging:
The battery itself does not support fast charging from the battery to the Note 8, but it does allow for pass through quick charging of your phone if you connect the battery case to your Samsung fast charger.
Pros:
Good extended capacity
Power on/off button
Solid construction of battery and case
Pass-through quick charging
Data transfer pass-through
Worked first time. Living up to name ZeroLemon.
Case itself is grippy and comfortable
Cons:
No NFC
No QI charging
Recessed fingerprint reader
Noticeable increase in weight and thickness of the phone
Needs a flip out kickstand.
Interestingly, if you try to go to the product page its a page saying "Oops - We couldn't find that one"

Not sure it's official released. Not on Amazon yet that I saw.

Interesting that they make two of them now. I wonder how much thinner the 5500 will be compared to the 10000 one.
I saw that 5500 version a few weeks ago before the 10,000 mah one was listed and didn't like the way it looked. The 10,000mah one looks decent, I need to know if it will work with the Whitestone Dome though.
When you are charging this, does the phone and the case get charged in parallel? Or the phone first, then the case etc.
Also how long does it take to charge the case itself, with the phone in it?

I like mine. It's a little smaller and the case is refreshed from older models I've used from ZL

Well I went thru 2 10000 cases in 1 week and both failed. Then I bought this slim one. Worked great for 2 charges and then would not take charge from factory charger. Will only charge from pc. Contacted zerolemon and was told must be defective cable. Lol. Yet charges my phone properly. Zerolemon is garbage and I recommend everyone to stay away from it. Last 2 phones product has gone to worthless in less then 2 weeks.
All their 5500 seems to be is a rebranded knockoff of the ebay versions for about $20 more. The 10 000 version looks like there's. Bottom line, like the OP said. It's heavy, no wireless charging, no magnet, no nfc. Those three are a killer, I regret not waiting for mophie's more expensive alternative.
The Mophie one is only 2950mAh and can only charge the phone 50% of juice.

Sorry I don't have it. I want to purchase it but it is currently out of stock.
It should be smaller in size than zerolemon as it has smaller capacity, I think.
