Hello folks,
Few hours back I was randomly check device software update, to my surprise update started downloading the size was 100MB.
With latest Android Security Patch, unfortunately no Android 6.0.1
This clearly indicates we aren't going to get Android 6.0.1 for Note 4, may be we can expect in April or May.

My Observations
As usual whenever a new firmware pops up I flash it with Odin and do factory reset. The first thing I do after a flash is install font this time I have noticed while installing Ubuntu.apk font as it's my all time favorite font, while applying says fonts doesn't support. It was disappointing.
How to fix it?
This is a security patch update to patch up the security breaches in Lollipop 5.1.1. We will probably see Marshmallow in the next few months after Samsung has finally finished tweaking it for the Note 4 range.

Yeah, I just downloaded it yesterday. My update came with an additional piece of bloatware as my N910C is a UAE model, I just disabled it as I couldn't uninstall it. I can't tell what it is as it's written in a Arabic Language script. Yeah, each patch differs from the previous version as the latest firmware patch release is designed to patch security flaws that were found recently.
Out of topic question.. OP, what's the font you're using? Looks cool. Thanks! :3

Hey mate, I've installed the font you've provided before updating and now, with the update installed, the font still remains here as the default font in my device.
For me, the update was XEO's LMY47X.N910CXXS2CPB3

I honestly have no idea what it is as I can't read Arabic Script. I purchased my N910C via a grey import online retailer, who probably got the stock from a UAE supplier. I didn't choose to get a UAE device, I got it from the grey import online retailer because it was significantly cheaper than it was listed on other retailers and it was also much cheaper than getting a 2nd hand or refurbished device.
Here are a couple of screenshots of the app I was talking about.

This firmware was only captured for only 2 firmwares on the s9 side
I looked for the s9+ also but like ya said its not there yet my guess its not on the s9 server yet or could be a different build number but I wouldn't figure
I would look up your build and android 9 is a 2GB size firmware look for the newest by month and date under the firmware you are on now

If u want to get pie, u have to get the ARI6 Odin files which are about 4GB. This is an Oreo file with September Patch. The subsequent update files on SamsungFirmwareScience is all you would need going forward after that to upgrade to Pie and other Patches if u choose to stay on Oreo. You just need to take a leap of faith and downgrade to ARI6 using the Patched Odin by Thomas or so 3.13.3

And I could just sideload the unlocked version of the ARI6 file? Like I wouldn't need carrier specific? According to SamMobile, there's no ARI6 for the Sprint (cdma) it only goes up go ARI4

All Samsung firmware are not carrier specific. Now how your phone works with the firmware is totally unknown to me. Sprint is weird since it's a cdma network. If u were on a GSM network i would have said it's as easy as pie. But to answer your question yes, it's simple as pie to just download Odin and ari6, put your phone in download mode, load the files to Odin (if u want to retain your sprint software use HOME_CSC rather than CSC) then run the update files from there using adb sideload from the recovery menu

Odin can be downloaded from sammobile.com under firmware section look under SM-N9500.
just check sammobile.com your model didn't get PIE yet (or they are behind in uploading it to their website). That link was for a beta pie firmware. I'll wait for the official release. It'll be a lot easier for you.
You have to know how to use Odin on computer. So do lots of reading up in Odin. Use Google search and YouTube on Odin. (Use Samsung Odin for search).

You have to have a computer for both Odin and smart switch.
On computer go here for smart switch:
https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/smart-switch
Once pie is released for your phone smart switch will download it and install it for you. You'll need to connect your phone with USB cable to computer first.
Again search Google on how to use Samsung smart switch.

same here, n960n only that im in (SKC) and on april , which by the way is quite bad, you would think samsung will update those models first seeing that its for their home market but nope.
i thought maybe samsung knows we are outside korea but when i check sammobile and other web pages it doesnt show new updates.
i really didnt want to root but this might make me to root and flash a rom with latest updates, but first i have to visit samsung service center to check my camera module.
Same here, verizon update last night. Includes night mode. Also includes typo...lol
