Hello, is there any way to root honor 9 lite? I heard there is still no twrp for 9 lite. Is there no other way? I'm new to rooting etc, I've only rooted honor 4x with instruction. I'd be grateful for help

look here in development. We have root and twrp for Honor 9 Lite, work on my phone (country = C432)
use this method, it's easy and recoverable if you get it bricked.

There is a form you can fill out to get the bootloader codes, it's in the view 10 forums. No way to root without unlocking the bootloader.
Hello everyone! Today I tried to unlock the bootloader of my p8 lite and, as you know, Huawei stopped me from doing that.
I have 2 questions:
1. There are alternative methods to unlock the bootloader of my p8 lite 2017 without paying (I searched the forum, but found nothing)?
2. Is legal what huawei is doing? I bought my phone and it should be mine, i don't understand why I can't install the OS i want upon it
Is there still any possible way to root huawei p8 lite?(2016 version if it matters) I also got reply from huawei official email, that getting bootloader isn't possible anymore. Can anyone help?

I have Huawei p10 plus (vky-l29) with a dead motherboard. I bought a good board, but it is locked to a google account. The latest firmware 9.10.292 is installed on it. I tried all the tutorials on YouTube trying to doing a google bypass, but without success
So to summarize, the phone is locked and FRP is locked ...
I also tried to downgrade from 9.0 to 8.0 android dload method with SD card, but without success ... I tried several firmware, downloaded from andoroidhost.ru, but no luck . Phone does not run the firmware installation at all...
I hope, with 8.0 android I would be able to do some of the bypass methods with YT.
The only new thing I managed to find was the potatonv tool, and HWOTA8 method
Could I do a downgrade with HWOTA8, if I unlock a bootloader using the PotatoNV tool method?
