Check out the samfail thread. They can help if the answers aren't already posted there.

No help there I think I'm screwed unless they find away to unlock snapdragon bootloader or some way to downgrade from rev3 to 1 or a remove/bypass solution.

Can you access download mode and flash stock firmware?

I can get into download mode yes but I'm stuck on rev3 and the only stock is rev1

Oh I see...hasn't rev3 been out for a while though? If so, I'm surprised it's still not available through SamFirm or Sammobile as it usually only takes a few days to appear there (iirc). I have Exynos so maybe I'm missing something...

Only firmware for SM-N950XU is rev1 and that was a hassle to obtain in the first place sammobile dose not even host it on there site...

Ahh it's a demo model? I can't really help there... From where I read they are live demo units not intended for resale.

Does that really matter Its legit I bought if for gaming purposes only no intention of using it as a working phone all I want is it to Be able to boot into the os.

It can't be very legit if you bought something that shouldn't actually have been sold in the first place! Either way, these are not retail models so I honestly have no idea where to get the firmware for them.

I have stock firmware for it but it's rev1 I'm rev 3 from my own carelessness sadly

G900A and G900AZ

I read that the Cricket Galaxy S5 (G900AZ) is a rebranded AT&T S5 (G900A). Has anyone tried ODIN flashing the stock AT&T rom on the Cricket model?
For instance, i have read people flashing the Tmobile S5 stock rom on the MetroPCS version and it works fine even though the model numbers are slightly different. It changes the phone into the Tmobile version.

Did you ever get an answer to this?
NO, but....
The Cricket S5 is indeed a rebranded AT&T model. I have both of those models including a LA G900M (TTT.) Major difference is nowhere near as much bloatware, and most importantly an unlocked bootloader. The only advantage would be upgrading to MM if you want stock, since the January update still has it on LP. You're better off trying a LA stock ROM though (I say this because they use the same custom recovery) But cutom ROM's can take you there as far as 7.1 Nougat right now.
I just recently rooted my Cricket model with CF Auto-root (klteaio), flashed the latest TWRP (klte) recovery and installed Xposed Framework (by dkcldark... wanam custom won't work.) Had a little of lag first couple of days, but I guess that's to be expected. Hope this helps in some way.

This gives me an idea.... What if we use flashfire to flash G900AZ firmware on the G900A (including the UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER)

You could always try it. I don't know exactly how well it will work.
You would have to be rooted FIRST on the G900A in order for FlashFire to work. If i remember correctly anything already on LP can't be rooted or downgraded back to KK.

Y'know what would be really nice???: Seeing that android updates are only good for 2yrs on a particular model after its initial released, and the given the fact that most carries plans are only 2yrs; wouldn't it be nice if (for sake of argument in THIS thread) AT&T would release a firmware for their phones, that would unlock the bootloader and possibly SIM unlock the phone as well. I mean after 2yrs the device is paid for and quite frankly no longer belongs to them. I hate the idea of being forced to either get a new device once my plan has expired or use MY phone with the carrier its branded under. Of course it probably has everything to with them making their money from those of us who can't do without having a new device every year.
So I can pull a copy of the G900AZ engineering firmware I found, but I doubt we'll be able to flash it. What is was thinking is that we use beaups CID changer to make our device into one similar to the cricket wireless one. Since it is essentially a dev edition of our phone.
You cant just flash a unlocked bootloader to a locked bootloader phone. A specific explout must be developed to defeat the bootloader. Simply shashing over it will never work.
The G900AZ is just a rebranded version of the G900A though. I don't think there are any glaring differences like there would be from G900T to G900A. If the aboot does flash then it would be a simple unlock.
@NavSad @AptLogic
If you wanna try this, here's a link to their firmwares:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G900AZ/
You'd most likely need to extract the correct files and be on the correct versions before flashing these.
Apparently, something similar happened with the T-Mobile Galaxy S6, where the MetroPCS firmware was flashed on the T-mobile firmware.

Mine are S1, T1, R1, A2, P1. I'm on Lollipop 5.0 with with ability to downgrade to NCE.
Also @AptLogic, maybe try through stock recovery, just as a precautionary measure.
P l e a s e do not try this
So I tried using FlashFire to flash the G900AZ firmware and I HARD BRICKED MY PHONE.
If anyone wants to give me advice on how to unbrick it PLEASE DO because I have to put all my development on hold indefinitely until I can unbrick it or buy a new one (which isn't likely because I don't have the cash for that right now).

I would try this method:
Grab a sdcard
Grab a debrick image here:https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767140194
Then put the sdcard in your computer and use Win32 DiskImager to write to the sdcard. After that, put the sdcard in your phone and boot into Download Mode.
If your phone isn't fixable using this method you'd have to try JTAG.

Has Anyone Tried Rooting the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S8 with CF Auto-Root?

I haven't seen this posted yet, but it looks like that Chainfire has an auto-root available for the T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy S8 now. My model from T-Mobile shows SM-G950U.
Link => https://autoroot.chainfire.eu
More info => http://wccftech.com/root-galaxy-s8-cf-auto-root/
I tried earlier today. It fails authentication.
I'm confused: are you sure this is for Snapdragon? Triangle away clears Knox warranty void flag?

Right
Cf-autoroot will not work. It got automatically built with the other versions. You need an unlocked bootloader to use it. Right now there is no way to root, none.

I need some help with getting back to unlocked firmware.

I recently made an insurance claim for my phone and had to send my unlocked firmware note 8 back. Problem I'm having now is, I cant get the new one on an unlocked firmware. I keep getting errors in all the Odins I have. I dont know much about the v4 bootloader or when it was locked. I was able to gi back to Nougat on my old phone and then upgrade back oreo. That was in August though. Any help would be appreciated. I cant stand this ATT ****!

You can only flash the same bootloader v4 firmwares or higher from now on. No downgrading possible to bootloader v3 or below!
Can't even go back to Nougat (that was on bootloader v3 and below)!
If you are just need the unbranded firmwares look for the ones with the bootloader v4.
Eg N950U(U1)SQS"4"CRH1. The 4 in "" is your bootloader version.
If you want to root or go back to nougat then you'll need to talk to ATT for another phone that's on bootloader v3 or below.

The easiest is to use SamFirm to download the firmware. Then use modified ODIN 3.13.1 to flash it.

I'm posting in there as well.
Yesterday I downloaded the correct Odin version and downloaded the Brazil firmware from some unknown formware website, but it checked out. Run Odin and it fails almost right away I believe it said something along the lines of "(auth)" where it said failed. Tried different ports, OEM cannot, etc. Today I'm using samfirm (the last update before they switched to updato. Trying to download the Mexico IUS version firmware but it's not opening because it's downloading as .enc4. but I think it's because I'm trying to open it while samfirm still says "checking crc32". So I'm attempting to wait for that to finish which it just did as we speak, so here goes.
It failed. Phone said frp is enabled, MDM mode can't download etc. I just want to update this damn phone.... So frustrated.

You can try the patched ODIN, but I believe RAC has those locked down with their own custom firmware, so you can't take their lock off.
This is the setup thing when I reset my phone. I also found files under device administrators like RES.svc I think it was called and others that would not let me disable.

Killed my P20 Pro

I have tried to downgrade my P20 Pro from Pie to Oreo this morning so I can rebrand via the FH tool.
TWRP flashed, phone rebooted to install the firmware and then it flashed up firmware install failed.
I had two options, reboot or recovery mode.
The phone is now stuck in fastmode with no display at all. PC still detects it.
It responds to commands in toolallinone. No idea how to turn it off to save battery?
Can I rescue it or is it too far gone?

Flash all the relevant parts of a firmware to get back to a working OS.
You'll need to download the same or later firmware, extract and flash each IMG to its respective place. iE : system to system using fastboot and so on.
There are a lot of threads for this.
I have one myself in guides.
