Today I noticed that when I activate "Do not disturb", Whats up call won't mute.
It's happening with these settings:
"Allow exception"- Custom.
"Alarms"- on.
"Repeat callers"- on.
"Calls from"- none.
"Messages from"- none.
"Event/task alerts"- on.
"Reminders"- on.
"Priority app notification"- Whats up- off
"Hide visual notification"- Hide when screen is on/off- on.
The only way Whats up calls are mute is when I choose under "Allow exception"- No exception.
The reason I choose "Custom" and not "No exception" is because "Repeat callers".
There is any way to mute Whats up calls with "Allow exception"- Custom?
Thanks for the help.

Is there any option when upon incoming new sms, display will not turn on, but sms will be indicated only by LED blinking?
thats a good idea. i've not seen antyhing fro it, and i dont know much about the winmobile SDK but it SHOULD be possible.
Have you tried turning off "Display message on screen" in the "sounds and notifications" area of settings?
Not used it myself but seems to be what you are looking for.
Turning off "Display message on screen" only make that sms is not showed at bottom of display in bubble...

Click to collapse
OK, thought it a little obvious but worth a mention.
Any fix for this?
Anyone has found how to disable the "turn on screen" on notification?
Thanks!

Here's my advice: read the manual or do a search.
Settings
Personal
Sounds & Notifications
Notifications
Select "Connection Established" from dropdown menu
Take tick out of "Display message on screen" box
Having the same problem, "Connection established" notification "display message on screen" option unchecked.
Lost me then! Worked on mine.
Perhaps try checking the display message box, see if it still gives the notification, then uncheck and once again check for the notification.
that type of thing has worked for me on other problems.
Other than that, sorry, don't know!
Hi there!
I'm having this problem since a few days. I tried tu reboot the device with no changes.
My alarm, which every day wakes me up, always showed the notification on the screen, you know, with the snooze and stop buttons in the bottom. But now, the notification doesn't appear and I have to press the bell icon on top of the screen to view it...
Any ideas??
Had the same issue and this fixed it.
go into start->settings->sounds and notifications->choose notifications tab on the bottom. In the event dropdown, choose reminders. Make sure "Display message on screen" is checked.
I'm sure this was enabled... Now it's disabled and it solved the problem. Thanks. But I'm wondering how could it be disabled by its own...
I live in Canada, and received my first emergency test notfication (very annoying) . I have all notifications unchecked but the top option emergency alert always receive is checked and cant be removed. Does anyone now how i disable this feature. Do I need to root and disable a specific service etc. Thank you.
Hello, go to Settings-Sounds-more Sound settings.
Scroll down to Mobile Broadcast and disable there.
The top box I can not uncheck. Enable notifications. I still get test notifications.
i have a mate 20x and the same problem. emergency alerts do not seem to disabled. I have everything unchecked in cell broadcasts and STILL get the alerts. I finally managed to turn off the alerts.
In mate 20 go to : "settings", then "apps". Under "apps" find "cell broadcasts". Disable the "SMS" permission there. This will stop the alerts.
I've set up the function to forward all calls coming into my carrier number to my Google Voice number. Unfortunately, this has an annoying side effect of a notification from the phone app that says "Call fowarding is on - Forwarding all calls" which I cannot dismiss nor turn off. The notification will not swipe away, and the option to turn off this notification is greyed out (screenshot attached)
If you have any ideas for how I can disable this notification, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
