Before anything, this ROM is built using device sources from dadi11 (Developer of XenonHD) and official CyanogenMod kernel source. This project will be abandoned once the original CM14.1 ROM with Goodix support by Santosh M.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS
We will not support users and answer questions from users which:
have flashed mods
modified system files
didn't follow our instructions word by word
are unfriendly
INSTRUCTIONS
First time installing CyanogenMod 14.1 to your Redmi Note 3 or coming from another ROM other than AOSP or CM based ROM:
Make sure you have unlocked your bootloader
Flash a custom recovery via Fastboot (any other installing methods will do, just make sure you have TWRP recovery installed)
Push GApps (arm64) and the CM 14.1 zip to your device
Boot into Recovery
Perform factory reset
Flash the CM 14.1 zip from SD card
Flash GApps for Nougat from SD card
Flash a custom kernel (I recommend Radon kernel if you have a Goodix device or camera sensors on your device are not working)
Reboot (be patient, "optimizing apps" takes a while)
Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

First of all do not flash any supersu/superuser/superman zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root acces > Apps Only
Are these gapps <insert random gapps package here> working with CM14.1?
Use the suggested package
When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channel.
Why no <insert miui feature here>?

Great to see development on this device - I have got one with goodix fp too but unfortunately my main camera is not recognized with any custom rom i have tried, so i am still stuck with MIUI. Does anybody know if there is someone working on supporting the latest hardware changes in this phone?

miui 6.11.10 works great tho, vsmooth, will test this one when i have time

You guys should try Resurrection Remix 5.7.4 . I have it installed on my RN3 along with front/back camera + Fingerprint working ( :
Flash in this order:
1. CM 13 Firmware.zip
2. Resurrection Remix 5.7.4 ROM
3. OpenGapps
4. Goodix_FP_8.zip
5. AGNi_pureCM-MM_v2.7_kenzo.zip (im currently using AGNi kernel version 2.7 and it works. Pretty sure it will also work on later updates.)
Wipe cache then reboot system

already did but no luck with my front camera
also all CM13 roms (except santhosh) lack mic cancellation features, too much echo in many roms. At this point I'll only consider CM14.1 roms and i'll test how mic cancellation works @ them

Yes, goodix is supported but you would need to flash a custom kernel and the Goodix_N patch. I would implement the changes in CM's kernel source later on.

No need of any kernel to boot this.. & i think Squid kernel is not yet supported to 8.1 roms..

After wiping the phone's partitions and trying to flash the zip I get the error 'Zip file is corrupt' I'm using the XT1541 variant

2: after launching some app, they stop apearing in recent apps, i can't use recent apps anymore, it's always empty.

Split screen is not available due to it's Go edition..
Doesn't faced any issues in recent menu..

What is XenonHD?
XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is based on AOSP and LineageOS with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.

but after selling that I am out of practice (flashing roms , etc etc...)
so asking these noob questions lol

Hello,
About the removed post? It was an issue with server, that why I had 4 post and 3 were removed, I promise this is my work, as I am already working in new build that will be test, and I expect, uploaded soon. If you don't believe me I will attach a screenshot with the terminal building the next update that I already talked about.

New build(That had been tested, not uploaded) gives bootanimation problems, seems that kernel it's not fully compatible yet, I am going to try to compile an again with latest kernel. Not sure if goodix fp will be fix with this one, if it is not, I'm not going to upload a new build unless this bug it's solved. Fingers crossed :fingers-crossed:

First time installing crDroid to your Xiaomi Mi MAX 2, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running the latest TWRP Recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Amazfit not working. The one thing important. Lol

I installed it and looks promising , just I think I need graphic driver , what do you advice me.
Because I came from miui the colors there was so pretty, here is pale maybe my ignorance please help .
And also while charging why its slow?

I cannot install Magisk. When I start Magisk install (after ROM and Gappss installing) it says " ! Cannot mount Vendor" and stops further process. What may be the problem. I tried installing from Mi-Globe ROM.

for users with android 11
if you have android 11, just download android 10 firmware flash this and flash then rom not workning.
you must flash full stable android 10 rom and wait for first run. I use xiaomi eu rom with firmware V12.0.2.0.QFDCNXM. here is
then reboot format data, flasn this rom and enjoy
for me works good this rom.
Edit: if you flash stable rom from xiaomi you must againf flash twrp recovery.
better is flash rom from xiaomi eu

stable rom from xiaomi eu working only with twrp. stable xiaomi global rom have stock recovery. then you must flash again twrp

Is there any way to force pitch black theme in Dark mode ?? I was able to do that in LOS 17.1 but can't find this option here :/

Thanks for this awesome rom! Battery seems incredibly perfect for now, from %81 to %42 screen on time is 5h 11m.
AOD screen is there but the clock doesn't move, may cause screen burn i guess. Or there is a point I'm missing.
Anyway thank you so much for this rom, I have been waiting for aosp-like custom roms for months.

Do you feel more stable and smooth on this ROM ?
I'm using xiaomi.eu 12.3 version 20.12.2 beta and I'm a little bit tired of loosing smoothness and stability.
I was on 12.2 version 20.9.17 and it was the more stable version from the beginning on Mi note 10 Pro.

Hi All,
I have finally decided to leave xiaomi.eu on my Tucana and switch to this recent RR. I already had RR on my Raphael (Mi 9T Pro) for months and I use ANX Camera (ANXCameraUnity_185.SaltyIntelligentPlainsqueaker.zip). There is one thing I haven't been able to install and it is this ANX camera. It fails wit error 127. I have tried with mauronofrio TWRP 3.4.0.1 and orangefox R11.0 but it fails the same way. I have Urnyx05 2.4 working but I'd like to add ANX.
