Hello, the model of my Samsung phone is SM-A7100 and i am desperately looking to root. I have access to two root files but sadly they are the previous 2 builds. I am looking for help and or clarification that rooting with old build numbers would be fine?
Thank you in advance for any help

The GApps package isn't needed and not everyone uses it.
The Package is only for Google Play and depending on which size GApps package determines how much more comes with it. There's apps out there that requires it as well as those that doesn't. I'm not sure exactly how to tell which is which really.
The following thread is the Official GApps thread for you to read and post any further questions you may have.

Hello there guys.Feels nice to come back to XDA Developers again.I really need some help with my phone.
I want it to root it so i can delete all the stupid pre installed and non uninstallable apps samsung offers.
Apparently I have the model with the (F)N in the end,so I dont think the other methods would work in my case.
I have bricked an older device called Lenovo Vibe Z (K910) which had some factory problems and I tried to fix them,so I am a bit afraid of trying the methods given(Magisk,Xposed, etc)
What would you recommend?
Sorry for any misunderstanding, but I dont certainly know where I should have posted that thread.

I don't have this device but, your device information is a bit confusing...
The SM-J710FN was released in April of 2016 as outlined in the following link.
http://www.phonemore.com/samsung-galaxy-j7-2016-sm-j710fn/specs/2747
The 2017 Variant was the SM-J730 (Variants) with no "FN" indicator as outlined in the following link.
http://www.phonemore.com/samsung-galaxy-j7-2017-j7-pro/models/1658
With that stated...
The following area of the forum is specific to the J710 Variants.

This could be contributing to your inability to locate information on your specific device.
This is an innocent mistake that isn't a big deal...

Hello,i want to ask a simple question . I just rooted my htc one a9s with magisk yesterday. But i can't find any threads about the xposed framework on this device . I don't want to risk it,because i don't have a custom recovery and i don't want to get it bricked. Is it possible to install the xposed framework somehow on this device?

It's not the same device. The thread is about the A9 and mine is the A9s.There are differences between them.Unfortunately for my model they can't make custom recovery yet.I should install the xposed framework with the stock recovery but i am not sure that it will work and i don't want to try it.

May I ask what a "Handy" is?
It appears to be a Samsung device since you had referenced using Odin for it and, after a quick Google Search, the only reference to it is all (what appears to me) only in German.

Thank you very much for clarifying this as I've never personally never heard of the term for a device called "Handy"...
Your best bet is to post this question within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device and variants.

Hi Guys/Gals
I have a HTC One M7. I have read I can update Android OS on it but being a complete newbie and having absolutely no experience in doing such a thing, can anyone point me in the right direction as to a guide or tutorial on how to perform this?
Do I need to root the phone? If so I don't know where to start on this either.
Cheers

Thanks Guys, I have posted in a few other areas but getting no response at all.
I did however find this thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/general/guide-tutorial-htc-one-m7-stock-to-t3781366
which sounds like what I'm after, so hoping if I follow this from the start it will give me what I want. I'll have to go over it quite a few times before I can understand it but if you can confirm it's correct I'll have a crack at it.
