I questioned Huawei about the missing bootloader unlock code page and this is what they answered to me:
" Thank you for your contact with Huawei Portugal's technical support team.
In fact this page is deactivated being that to obtain the bootloader unlock code for your equipment you can request the same from our team.
However, we must inform you that the issuance of this code implies the immediate termination of the warranty, however, if you still wish to obtain this code, please send us the IMEI number, serial number and product ID (* # * # 1357946 # * # ).

I asked Huawei Romania to give me bootloader unlock code for my P8 Lite 2017 , but they don't want to give it to me . What should I do ?? Sorry for my bad English

What email of Huawei did you use? I tried [email protected], but I always get a quick response of "Address Not Found".

you shouldn't share IMEI or any of these informations just to anyone, these are important and it might be misused. just keep trying or wait patiently in next days or maybe change the region when contacting...

hi all just a quick post i have just signed up on the HTC site when i type in my S/N number it is saying that there is no such S/N ihave tried to ring orange but they dont know what iam trying to do i just want to know if there is going to be a free upgrade to the phone to windows mobile 6.1 if not is there any other way of getting the update

Official versions of WM6.1 have not shipped yet. If you want an unofficial version, start with the stickies and the wiki found in my sig, to learn how to flash ROMs found in the development section.
If you have any additional questions, you should try to post in an existing thread.

FWIW, my ROMs are not 6.1
Make sure you don't use any of the ROM's with the name Alex in it. They don't have 3D video drivers. HEHE

Hi,
To start with click on the Gettings Started link in my Sig and read, all the information is there in verbose form.
But in short:
First you need to install HardSPL, this allows your phone to be flashed with a new ROM without it been bricked.
Once that is installed you can select and Flash your new ROM.
If the ROM you flash does not include a Radio then you may need to install a compatable radio. Click on the radios link in my sig and install a version to match your Windows Mobile Version.
If you have any problems with this post your problem in the relevant thread (all the threads are in the Getting Started Link in my sig).

You've obviously read far enough to realise that the new Roms are both available and better, so why not read a bit more and answer your question yourself...

I have acc with more 10 apps. Yesterday, I received notify that : need update "Pricing & Distribution" of one of my apps. And after update I receive email reject update with reason : Your app's title shouldn't use other products' branding or names at the start of your app title without permission. This implies association and can be misleading for users. Instead, use "for [ product or brand name ]."
I have some questions :
+ Why I just update Pricing & Distribution, GG reject me about title. Maybe GG will check everything in my app when I update ?
+ Update "Pricing & Distribution" is mandatory or not?
What should I do? I hope someone can help me answer this questions.

I'm reading and reading... but i have a problem to get the unlock code via the huawei web.
I can fill in the form on emui.huawei.com to get the code to unlock, but i can't fill in the verification code, nothing is show in this field.
Even afther refresh and testing on dif. computers and dif. browsers.
Any idee???

You need to use the chinese site for the unlock tool, did myself yerterdsay, so open the english site and then open the chinese one. check the input value on the english site and put it into the chinese site.

I was on custom non miui based ROM and while signing up on miui forum app(wanted to sign up for miui 10 beta) I messed up the username. Someone suggested the only solution being delete mi account and create new one. I did that and everything worked good.
Problem got known when I tried installing miui based ROM. As soon as the screen boots, it ask for password of mi account which I have deleted earlier. I know the password but it won't work as account don't exist.
I tried getting support from mi support but they said only available solution is to go to service centre but is far from my place.
I have tried the following things:
Reverting back to miui 8 (as miui 7 is not available), this way I can access the miui ROM but still can't change mi account.
I have not yet tried mi tools available as they were not tested on mi max 2 and I am afraid it might hard brick my device.
If anyone have ever faced any such issue and found some solution, please share any info. Possible.
Note: My device is not unusable as I can install all non miui based roms but still this happened at the time of release of miui 10 which I cannot try anymore.
Please try to provide a solution that won't have the risk of hard bricking the device as this is the only device that I own.

Try creating the same username and see if you can access the phone again on MIUI.

Isn't username generated at random, It just ask for email id, phone no.?
Also I don't remember the old account user name only first and last two or three digits as in screenshot:

Well, the username is not random, but the ID number indeed it is.

Well, sorry to say but it won't work. It won't let pass the screen of login and account is not just connected to aim but linked with device as well. Even after removing aim and trying to boot, the screen to login with existing account popped up.
Thanks for replying though.
Anyway guys, romfactory helped me bypass the screen and thanks to him now I am on miui. Just minor issues are left to check so that the screen won't appear on next miui flash.

Sorry for the late reply. But it turns out it didn't work. Even after able to access Miui, the mi account and mi cloud force close keeps popping up every now on them.
Also the moment you restart either your device will go into bootloop or the log in to mi account will pop up again.
Which implies only solution is the official one i.e
1. To mail contact customer support and mail them whatever details they ask(screenshot attached), this one is free.
Note:
-This will take 4-5 days approx.
-Dont just mail to support at your own country. Rather mail to atleast 3,4 countries.
(3 of them replied copy paste unasked info. Whereas Malaysia and Singapore customer support understood my query and asked for further info as in screenshot)
-You can contact them from here:

2. To take your mobile to nearby Xiaomi service centre(they need a copy of your identity and address proof plus a copy of your purchase invoice, they will charge a specified fee for it(180 Indian Rupees in my case)
Note:
-This one will take 2-3 days approx.
(Remember to backup and erase your data before handing it over)
-This solution won't always work as sometimes even the support centre don't know how to deal with this issue and they will try factory reset only. If it didn't work for you always remember to go back to first option.
Hope this helps.
Just to let you know I am still awaiting reply from Malaysian Xiaomi support centre. Also romfactory has talked to few of his friends who work in mi support so my problem will be solved in some time.

I sent the mail to support team on 13 July and today(24 July) they replied that we have unlocked your account.

My new Redmond note 5 pro is locked with deleted account. I hard reset it but can't help.please some one tell me this issue has a solution or not please.

Please read my comments above. I have provided the solution that worked for me. And yes it definitely has a solution, if nothing works, you can still go to mi store nearby, they will unlock in 2 days.
