I want to edit my stock rom a little -> deodexing files, delete some unused apps...
so i want to edit the stock rom. with my htc desire s it was quite simple by editing the update.zip. but now on the optimus black... :-/ i searched the web for hours an only can find these .kdz files. but i cant unpack it.
is there any possibility to extract the kdz files or find an update zip (p.a. for v10c)

tank you. but i tried this tutorial before. its only for the lg arena. when i try to open the kdz file via terminal it says "no command for extraction" i think this is because of the different OS on the arena (different flashing method). so no success with this =(
Recently brought a z3 compact after years of samsungs
On my Samsung I used to be able rename a image folder with a full stop infront of it and this would hide the folder and pictures from the gallery and alsothe pictures wouldn't show up to send if you were trying send a photo on WhatsApp/Facebook. If I wanted send a picture from this folder I'd go in the file manager rename the folder and after a few moments the folder and pictures were viewable/sendable again.
Is there a way of doing this on the z3? apart from connecting to a pc? I know my folder is there on my SD card at the minute named .images but it can't be found on the phones file komander to be renamed without the . So it can be viewable. Thanks in advance
just create a file named ".nomedia" without the quotes and put it on the folder that you want to keep out you gallery.
The images be accesible via explorer.

i installed the wrong twrp recovery and wrong root file (rar). I need to replace those two files with the good ones (already have them), but mi pc wont allow me to transfer files or explore the internal files, it just charges the phone.
what can i do to replace those two files.

I switched to s21 ultra few days ago, and i am facing a problem with heroes 3 hd game.
Iused zarchiver to be able to access data and obb folders, i put obb folder there, i installed the heroes 3 apk as usual, but it says that failed to unpack files.
Any one have an idea how to make this working,
