A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.
Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.
Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.

Same like other custom rom, Use opengapps, Android 8.1, ARM64, Nano or Pico is enough. I'm usually use nano, no problem so far.

Kinda digging the ROM but I wish it did not have prebuilt apps like Retro Music Player, Via Browser and MiXplorer.
I understand its easy to remove and I appreciate the effort you put forth to bring the ROM to this device. Just my 2cents though.

i just read on first page, WhatsApp camera have some bug .
Maybe waiting till fixed, can work without that one.

Just only the shushified status.

I've been using the previous version, the BootleggersROM-Pie4klte.4.0-Stable-Unshishufied-20190113. The only issue I found was battery draining fast. My battery tops about 4 hours using WhatsApp, listening to music through bluetooth headset.
I'm going to update today and latter on tell the results.
You are doing an amazing job.

Here they are!

Ive been using this rom to my samsung s5 g9oot device. Rom is very smooth, no lags, been using it as my daily driver. But one thing only, my led notif light is not working. I have enable it but still no led light when i recieve msgs like fb messenger. I used also used custom roms before like aex, havoc, dotos, mokee roms and led light notif works. Can u give any advice on how to fix this. Overall rom is amazing. Thanks.

Many more customisations.

Wonderful ROM. User friendly and simple. Excellent battery life. But yet very stable. Good job to the developer. One issue ive experienced. When i try to change select the ring tone, the sound app force closes. Other than that no issues. Not a big deal. Hopefully to be fixed next update. Goodjob ??

Hi mate,
uninstall any updates to the sound app and that should fix. I've had to stop auto updates on play store.

The recents button acts as a menu button for me which means I can't multitask, please add in the setting where you can change what your hardware buttons can do.

los16 optimized better but you can install this for dailyuse

Rom is stable and good battery backup than all other pie roms I tried but Wifi is not working(common problem with all pie roms). Any fix for Wifi any body?

Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.
With an almost stable source, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpapers (avaliable on ShishuWalls), ringtones, fonts, and themes to bring to your device into a more fresh look and give you always a good experience.

Unfortunately, the latest sources are based on the January security patch.

I agree. That's why I created a poll long time ago, which shows popular ROMs. Bootleggers got 1 vote only.
