Hi,
My Bose headset connects normally via Bluetooth but doesn't play any sound. They are up to date according to the Bose app.
Anyone else having similar issues?
Dunno if it is due to Dolby Atmos, I cannot disable it.
Any help would he appreciated!
No, all fine here

All fine here as well with and without dolby atmos
Dolby doesn't work on Bluetooth if I remember it correctly
I've had a different issue. The Bose connect app seems to crash or lose its connection very often, meaning it takes a while to load often when I open it. Has anyone else found this?
Also, is there any easy way to toggle noise cancellation without going into the Bose app?
This device seems to be finicky with headsets.... I have the Libratone USB C headset, and while the phone will play music over it fine, it will not route calls to it. Very frustrating!
I found it impossible to pair the phone and Bose headphones until I'd updated the headphones over USB with the Bose Updater. May be worth a try

Hello!
Can headphones be disabled directly from build.prop?
Phone shows that headphones connected all time and call audio doesn't work on earpiece. Currently using SoundAbout app but I want a "permanent" solution for few months until next Z-series phone is unveiled.

I recently bought Bose SoundLink on ear bluetooth headphones. I had a Rapoo s100 before, and it paired and played music fine. The new headphones work too, they pair and I can make calls, but as of today I cannot hear any music. Calls still work. It happened twice before and a reboot managed to fix it, but I now I even cleared the cache partition and still nothing. The speakers work fine and the headphones work when connected with cable. Is it a hardware issue? Did I miss anything? Also, I don't have root and I tried both stock music player and Google play music.
Any help would be appreciated
EDIT: nvm' problem solved
Hello again
Really often I use my phone as a media player, especially in my car, connected via headphones cable. Until now all works fine with all my devices, but with the Maze Alpha the sound is just in mono (left side) - with any app. In the android settings I disabled the sound reinforcement options but nothing is changed.
I know that the speaker plays sounds just in mono, but I found no hints in reviews that this is the same for headphones. If this device generally not able to play sounds in stereo, is this a big fail for the manufacturer.
So please check my issue and give me a feedback. I'd also be happy if someone can tell my a solution for this to get real stereo sounds.
Many thanks in advance and best wishes

Same issue here only one chanel
I haven't try to use it directly with large speakers though. It seems that you might need an amplifier to get the right sound despite defaulting to a stereo sound system only. The secret is to sound issue in Maze Alpha is to get quality earphones.
I have 2 pairs of bluetooth headphones, each with a built-in microphone. My phone (galaxy s10) however, refuses to use those microphones. When I plug in wired headphones I can use the mic without a problem.
But when I connect my bluetooth headphones, the microphone simply doesn't work. I've looked through every option but can't seem to find a way to use the microphone.
Does android10/samsung even support bluetooth microphones? Is there any option I've overlooked?
Hi,
I can confirm I am having this exact issue with Galaxy A40.
Can you tell me if recording of the Bluetooth mic works if you use the MicTest (by Laureano) app form the app store?
This works great for me. Which tells me the mics in my case (a plantronic and a jabra) both work just fine.
But when it comes to calling and using other apps (Teams, Whatsapp, Samsung voice recorder) the phone just defaults to the internal microphone.
Is there a setting missing here?
I have a reverse problem of https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=4034259.
After upgrading to Android 10, no sound comes through the wired headset (which is plugged into a usb-c to 3.5mm adapter that came with the phone). I tried two different adapters, two different headphones - same behavior. The phone shows the "wired headset" icon in the status bar, but the sound comes via the phone's speaker (low volume, one needs to put the phone to the ear to hear it).
Bluetooth headphones work just fine.
Any idea what to do about it?
Do you have magisk installed? If so, which modules installed/active? Try disabling sound-tweaking ones. Do you disabled Bluetooth A2DP hardware offload? Is simple reboot helps?

No magisk. Simple reboot didn't help. Disabled A2DP, and it seems to have fixed the wired headphones issue, thanks!
Now to check if BT still works.
Thanks again
Yep, BT still works. Thanks a lot again!
Spoke too soon.
Something is still not right with the sound. Namely, no sound when making/receiving call on the phone. Works through the BT headphones or via the speaker.
