I'm on the official Oreo right now and came from nougat as oreo beta wasn't available in my country.. There are 3 firmwares approved in the app.. 2 duplicate OTA updates and one FullOTA with a size of 2,785GB to be exact.. You can try the small sized OTAs if you want.. It says in the changelog that it will update your device from RNE-21 8.0.0.302(C185log) to RNE-L21 8.0.0.310(C185) which is the official build that i'm on right now.
FF says no one is approved...

I'm totally aware of the settings in firmware finder but I guess that I'm not being approved because I'm in a different region (Pakistan). Where are you from? My current firmware is RNE-L21 8.0.0.302(C185log) since I'm already on oreo but beta version and this has some minor bugs so I just wanted to get rid of them. Anyways thank you for your swift response and is it possible for you to share some screenshots of the settings menu and the recent apps window? Thank you.
using the IN-APP PROXY method not work for me at the beginning but after trying DNS method the download work (403 MB) but after downloading be 100% it told me that there is new patch (403 MB) after accept to download it the download return to 50% after it was 100% then the same problem again after completed the same message that there is new patch available (403 MB) and download back to be 66% and update file size is 1.21 GB
I stop DNS service but download is running it's now 96%.
i think after download is completed there is a loop and start the same download again.
after this once if it says the same message I'll refuse accepting update message to see what is happening.
[Edit]
after download completed for the third time the upgrade button is visible but after pressing it verify error message is shown.
After stopping DNS service and starting it again i 'm trying again from the first
if the same error occurred again i think the problem may be with my beta firmware.

That's really strange! Pakistani users were the first to recieve the oreo beta but now the official release is yet to be approved!!! I'm from Jordan and i couldn't even log in the beta app when they opened a beta project in pakistan (sounds stupid i know) ... Anyway i'll attach some screenshots for what you have asked me.. I noticed some games and apps came along with the update (useless games).. Camera is a bit smoother than before.. Overall performance is better than what it was on nougat.. Stuff like that.. Hope you recieve it asap.. Btw the phone manager really rocks now lol

Did you check if the firmware access is approved for your IMEI? If it's not then nither the in-app proxy nor the DNS method will work... If you checked and it's approved.. Then can you explain how the in-app proxy method is not working? As for what i know, it's a common issue with the dns method.

yes i did and it's approved
Later when using proxy system updater get that there is a new update [403 mb] but can't download it.
In DNS method it find the update and download it but every time after it is 100% it start to down the same file again for three times then fail to upgrade
i found the error with DNS method that i should stop DNS after updater started which i didn't do.
Now i tried again with proxy method, the updater find that there is a new update but i didn't start it until i go back to connection setting and stop proxy then back to system updater and start update and it is working & download is 23%
after it is completed i'll see if it will upgrade or give an error again.

Here is what i exactly did when i installed it through the proxy method... I enabled the proxy.. Went to WiFi settings and added the localhost proxy.. Then i checked for the update in the system updater and it appeared there.. Once you find the update disconnect the proxy and remove its settings from WIFI settings.. Then normaly download the update via system updater.. Hope i helped a bit.. Btw check the screenshot attached for some instruction for the DNS method.. I'm sure you did as the instructions say but wouldn't hurt to leave it here

My phone is stuck in bootloop after installing OTA update of EMUI 3.1.
Pls provide me some help,
1. Is EMUI 3.1 working for any CH1-L04 user?
2. Is there simple way to rollback to EMUI 3.0, earlier version, without downloading whole EMUI 3.0 again?
3. From where to download updates manually from Huawei website?
Thanks in advance.
I downloaded lollipop update from honor site . It came with EMUI3.1 . Its working fine.
http://hihonor.in/sites/default/files/Honor-4X-Second-Android-L.zip
I also did the same, as service center were asking to keep phone for 1 day..
Updating huge files through mobile is not a good idea, What best you can do is, go for official site and get the file over there and install it manually. In my previous comment I have attached the download link.

there are some process you can use to downgrade
I have tried it and it works perfectly for my Huawei P9 EVA-L09C636B190. I think this method will work on ANY model of P9, any region.
I'm now on EVA-L09C636B320. With everything normal. No development version. I think it is offical. Now im trying to update to B361 with the same method.
Here's what you need:
Huawei Hisuit
Huawei firmware finder
Huawei updater
First, make sure your P9 is updated to the latest EMUI 4.1.1, then use the firmware finder, simply choose the 'common database', and enter your model number, such as 'EVA-L09C636', then click 'update' of the first version of B3xx, but dont download it.
Try to copy the download link 'http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1256/g104/v73968/f1/full/update.zip'
And delete everything after 'f1' make it like this ''http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1256/g104/v73968/f1'
Then you can use the method in this thread

Hello there, I did every step mentioned by OP here and did the steps detailed in the linked post. Everything is going fine, firmware is downloading and if I'm lucky it will finish doing it in about 3 or 4 hours (yes, ****ty conection). Anyways, Firmware Finder found this EVA-L09C605B360 and I'm currently on EVA-L09C605B135 I can clearly see that it may work and have Nougat by the end of this day that but I'm concerned about this method and its safety; is it safe, can I trust in FF? Am I doing any damage or restricting this phone's future capability to receive OTAs? Like I said I got plenty of time to stop the update process if in any case my phone is going to be bricked or dead by flashing lol
I'm expecting your answers or experiences
Cheers.

Hello,
Huawei stop to build any new update for EVA-L19C432?
There is no more update from so long time, security patch of Android is so old from April 26 and also the Android version is so old (7.0).
This model has been drop and will not get anymore any update? They stop to update and prepare Oreo version for this model or was forget? Have someone some more information or some new firmware update unlisted on Firmware Finder?
Thanks

Count yourself fortunate, I cannot even get Nougat 7 on my EVA-L29C636. Seriously though, almost all flagship android devices will get, at most, 2 major updates. The P9 was shipped with M and most (not me) have N now. That will probably be the last.

I was able to flash C391 on my L19 using firmware finder and proxy method. It did not work in my case using DNS method. I did not flash oem partition, just the full 2Gb OTA, straight up.
I get unauthorized every time.

I assume you are Romanian and you own a dual sim L19C432.
I now see that even L19C432B390 appeared few days ago in firmware finder, but nothing in regular hisuite/settings update - still on L19C432B386 officially

L19C432B388 is the last approved firmware.
B390 is not yet being approved to masses, only to test users.
Proof:
I am not getting even 388 though - through regular Huawei/settings update still nothing. Only see it in FF.

Force flash it using FF.
I installed EVA-L19C185B395 on my brother's p9 yesterday via firmware finder and everything was running super smooth.

Count yourself fortunate, I cannot even get Nougat 7 on my EVA-L29C636. Seriously though, almost all flagship android devices will get, at most, 2 major updates. The P9 was shipped with M and most (not me) have N now. That will probably be the last.

Two months ago when I shortly experimented by debranding L09 to L19 last OTA update for L19 was also b386 for me
Nevertheless, you can update to later unapproved builds by HWOTA method

Hello,
Huawei stop to build any new update for EVA-L19C432?
There is no more update from so long time, security patch of Android is so old from April 26 and also the Android version is so old (7.0).
This model has been drop and will not get anymore any update? They stop to update and prepare Oreo version for this model or was forget? Have someone some more information or some new firmware update unlisted on Firmware Finder?
Thanks

From my personal experience... You probably have re-branded EVA-L19C432. Original still receives an update, however, if you have re-branded (as mine.My original EVA-AL10) it all stoped at EVA-L19C432B386.
and even if you try to install higher update via SDCARD it will fail.
You can try to download partition table for EVA-L19 and flash it on you phone using dc-unlocker Phenix52 software, then fix your IMEI with HCU Clinet , then you will be able to flash updates manualy higher the 386 but it cause issues with calls and reception on your cell phone..
Cheers,

Nobody can...
The problem is you cannot flash anything higher then EVA-L19C432B386 on re-branded phone.. Unless you have some magic or DC Phenix creators team creates full image from latest firmware...
Issue solved. I re brand to eva-l29c636 and all works as it should. All updates installed until aug 2018...
Today but with quota limitations
I tried updating with firmware finder but it gives authentication error. Actually it arrived way before today. The date on ff shows 20-10-2017. It's just that the it shows as MHA-AL00 instead of MHA-AL00C00. So anyone got a trick to update to this new firmware.

In firmware finder instead of AL00C00 type MHA-AL00 . U will get the list of updates. See if you can make it work.

To anyone who missed update cause quote is full.
You can search in FF model MHA-330 (not MHA-AL00 in this case)
Huawei is pushing number 103199 via HiCare.
Doesn't know ability of authentication (I have C636 region)
Tried the one u mentioned but still get the authentication error.
Found Oreo for the C567 us model on firmware finder, (MHA-L29 8.0.0.321 (C567)) but can't install it due to it "not being authorized". It's official and not a beta, but since it hasn't been authorized by Huawei, system update won't install the update, any clue on how to get around this without rooting or installing twrp? Or should I just be patient and wait on this update to be authorized and be rolled out to the us mate 9?

How do you know it's not beta?
Because it's already rolled out on the east coast

Because it has already rolled out to the east coast through the official "update device" in settings. I'm still waiting on it to show up for me. (Beta versions of the firmware have "log" at the end of the build number).

I wonder what's up with Huawei and the US...
You never get any updates for C567.
You get official Oreo first (If it now is official), but 8.0.0.321 is the first beta uploaded, with security patch 2017-10-05.
I hope they update it for you immediately.

You'll need to unlock bootloader for that one.
Alternative is paid services or apply for beta.

Noticed a new version of MHA-L29 8.0.0.321 (C636log) 21-11-2017 has been released but I'm unsure what the difference is from the same version/build number released on 20-10-2017? I did a full wipe and flashed the newer 21-11 version but Google security updates are still listed as 5 October.
