tested it a day now. no crashes, WhatsApp is good with this rom.
VoLTE is working in Germany.
Cant say much about battery life. At least it has no issue during screen on. Battery is same like AEX 5.1 I guess.
So far no issues. Good rom

I don't use WhatsApp, but Google voice works. So I don't see why it wouldn't. I still haven't been able to use the battery properly in the real world yet, but it should last a full day at least.

I use o2 as Provider in Germany. Contract, no prepaid.

Updates are scheduled weekly. Next update January 20

Excellent rom, the camera is ok and the battery life has been optimized. Unfortunately u-healt does not work

It's a feature i think and present in every oreo rom, so don't complaint about it,...

Some bugs in the latest version
- the Official YouTube app is not working. The app opens up but when you play a video only the audio is played and a black screen is displayed. YouTube is however working in browsers.
- When the Volume is decreased. (On Speaker) Most of the volume decreases in the first click of volume down. When the volume ticker reaches half way in the Volume control box, the entire sound is drowned out

- Added lockscreen option to pass swipe up unlock

- Themed DUI dialogs

So flashed this rom last night but there are some minor issues
1) double tap to wake doesn't work
2) battery drain is too high while charging I was getting only about 600mah net charging current
3) rom is not ota compatible although it's labelled as official to upgrade manually downloading and flashing of newer builds will be required
Other than that it was good fast and responsive

This is a problem with the recovery... Flash the Zuk splash screen using all in one tool to solve the issue.

Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. Does this ROM supports themes?
Yes!, and as a bonus, we shipping with our own theme called Margarita!.
Error 7 while flashing on recovery, what should I do?
Update your TWRP recovery to latest version which has Oreo changes and fixes.

We are not accepting any feature request for this project as of now, if it's really essential, post it under the "Feature Wish" section in our Google+ Community. We'll certainly look into it.
Does the zip include SuperSU, or should I flash it separately?
Nope , user has to flash himself.
So, you guys, a part of Citrus-CAF?
Aaah, yes! its our another project based on CAF, and featurerich!
Solution for all fingerprint issues:
1. Download latest Oreo stock fastboot from Xiaomi
2. Flash using miflash with full wipe and lock
3. Once you get to setup wizard don't setup anything, reboot back to bootloader
4. Flash userdata image from august nougat stock
5. Format userdata to get correct userdata size
6. Boot latest TWRP and flash latest Cardinal Rom
7. Flash TWRP (optional)
8. Reboot into recovery and flash latest magisk (optional)
After this all 5 fingerprints will work fine including delete, no more left over fingerprint after deleting, solution is permanent unless you downgrade to nougat stock, then you have to do the procedure again.

Nice mate, must test it asap. I haven't tested Cardinal intensively, but the Citrus CAF on several devices. Was always a fan of CAF based ROMs.

FP not working....tried many times but does not work...fail to detect my fingers....

That isn't necessary... I didn't delete any FP but just did a system and data wipe.

no i was on lineage os before then i flashed validusOS and then i flashed cardinal but in cardinal OS my FP failed to detect....so i tried RR it also failed to detect so then i restored back to lineage OS and surprisingly it detect my FP. I do not know what happened so i am clean flashing RR to test what is the problem.

For what do you need it?

Mi A1 stock camera Portrait mode option not showing.
ROM Is awesome but option for portrait mode is not shown in mi a1 stock camera. Any dilution?

FAQ and Install instructions:​
First and the foremost point, remove any kind of security/screen locks. Remove all the fingerprints & set the lock screen lock to none.
Flash latest Stock Oreo build, along with it's firmware.
Download latest build & gapps.
Boot into latest TWRP.
Wipe system, cache & data.
Flash the ROM & twrp installer.
Reboot back to recovery & flash gapps & Magisk.
Reboot device & enjoy
NOTE: Only if you face encryption issue, then flash stock Nougat's userdata.img through fastboot. Now the ROM should boot without any problem.

I'm loving it! Will it gets OTAs considering it is official?

I installed this ROM yesterday and after setup google info two of three launchers that it has stop all the time. And one of the cameras say me to insert a sd card. I dont know if those are bugs but i faced this things

I have already mentioned in changelog,
1. For pixel launcher fcs - please give storage permissions for launcher
2. There are two cam apps, non working will be killed soon.

U can try ! When i and my testers tested open gapps, we found that open gapps have a problem for 26th and 27th march build ... Itight be solved now

Alot of people and myself experiencing the screen freeze issue, is it still present with this rom?
Because my issue went away after August update and its back worse than ever with the new Android 10.

Does this ROM have an option to announce the caller ID during an incoming call? My dad has Nokia 7 Plus and I've been struggling to find a way to enable such an option. My OP 6T, my gf's iPhone 8 have such things built-in but I wasn't able to find a way to enable it on Nokia 7 Plus, so I'm guessing it's a firmware feature, which Android One doesn't have.

Great rom??
1.Nokia Native camera does not working in this rom
2.Native video calling also not working.

If you can just tell me why "Express VPN" app crashes ?
